Location is a storage facility so reasonable modern and clean. Staff was courteous and efficient in accepting the return, although there were issues with accessing the U-Haul app to quickly complete the return process.Sue P.

Check the car batteries voltage charge regularly. This should be routine maintenance. The battery died as soon as I got it home and wasted a whole day (because it was after closing hours) and had to wait until the next day to get the battery replaced.Ian S.

I got transferred to a location 35 min from my house when I signed a contract for a location 5 min from my house. The transfer was a day or two before my move, so I had zero time to adjust for my additional hour of travel time.Mitchel H.

the location was convenient, however using the software was awful...every single page timed out and when I tried to return it, it literally would make me do all of step 1 (take pictures, record mileage, record fuel, etc) hit next, it would time out and make me start over.Heather P.

Once I finally got the truck and began loading it was filthy inside. I experienced the craziest situation trying to obtain a truck in the Houston area. I was switched 5 times and finally got one and it was dirty. Moving pads were hard to find and had to go to another location to get those.Steven L.
The mobile check in/out process is pretty frustrating. During the check out process, I wasn't able to use my phone number because it had been used with another email address. I had to use the chat to sort out how to proceed which was to use another number. During the check in process,I tried several times to upload a photo of the mileage and gas, but it never worked and there isn't a chat feature available for the check in. I had to wait until the location I rented from opened to be able to return the truck. I definitely have not enjoyed the mobile check in/out system the last two times I've rented from U-Haul.Brian W.

I have been overcharged for this rental due to the truck not being checked in for two after it was returned. I have been advised numerous times the charges were in error and would be credited. Rentals parked in front of storage facility. Parking and maneuvering is tight. Man that checked me in just pointed to where the trailer was parked and said, "There it is." I lift the trailer onto my hitch, wire and chain it up, check lights, blinkers, etc. by myself. Trailer was not inspected as I drove off the lot. Always best to go to a full U-Haul operation as opposed to a storage facility doing U-haul rentals on the side.Mark M.
The truck was very old with high mileage. The AC turned off when going up hills. 10 MPG is terrible gas mileage. It was not good value for the money.ANDREW N.

I dont understand why I rented a appliance dolly, spoke with 3 different representatives and no one pointed out that the 10 ft truck didn't have a ramp. When we dropped off the employee didn't have a mask and wouldn't check the truck for damage.Chris K.

Front desk attendant was rude. I had problems with the cargo door lock and he treated me like I didn't know how locks work. No. I know how they work, I didn't know how this particular lock work and I wasted 30mins of my time. I had to wait for the attendant to show up to show me how to do it. On top of that, I paid for furniture pads and there wasn't any available (I will be calling about a refund). The van & the drop off process was great though.Varun A.

I used the mobile / app option to check in. It was a total waste of time. Besides having to wait for my rental to be authorized I then ended up having to still go in to the office to get the key. The app itself doesn't keep track of where you're at if the phone goes to sleep, so when I went back to put in to verify the mileage, that option was gone. In addition to the bungled check in process, the truck itself still had a lock on it that I discovered when I arrived at the location I was going to pick up stuff, so I had to drive all the way back to the location to get the lock taken off.Brian W.

The man that set me up with the vehicle insulted my son and acted as though he was going to physically assault me. He was paranoid and aggressive. It was an absolute disaster and a horrible experience. I requested a manager, but he was the only person on site.Jean S.

First, this location was not the requested location I made for this order. It was further away from my apartment, and then I was charged for the additional miles of driving at the end of the trip. Second, I ordered two dollies for my move to rent, but there were none available at this location. This should have absolutely been communicated ahead of time, because then I could have made other arrangements. As it was, I was stuck with no dollies for my move. Lastly, I signed up for an 8:00 AM check in via my phone. However, I was told the day before that the phone check was not possible so I had to come at the 9:00 AM. The movement of location, time, and lack of equipment was very frustrating to me from Uhaul as a whole and made my move much more challenging. Literally the only thing correct was the truck/size. Most of the above are not specific to this location, but the system as a whole. Regardless, makes it tough to consider using Uhaull again in the future.Zachary S.
