have your trucks with gas, Mine had less than a 1/4th of a quarter of a tank. this is nerve racking worring if I could make it to a gas station. on my reservation I requested a truck full of gas, They didnt listen, nor did I get any moving blankets or the dolly that was charged to me. Also why is the parking lot full of trash and debri, nails etc?Norma M.

The U-Haul connection at this location refused to allow the reservation. Then my phone attempt to reserve online failed. After the agent talking to tech support, there seemed to be little progress. After repeated attempts a reservation was secured. After returning the trailer about two hours later the online check in refused to complete after the question of "is there any damage". Then waling into the physical location< I still did not get a clear resolution to notice that I had successfully "returned" the trailer during their business hours.Dean S.

I had a lot of trouble with the mobile elements of my rental. I was unable to check in online as requested and had to wait for the store to open to get my truck. And because I was signed up for mobile check in the uhaul employee was not at my pick up location and had to be called by the gas station employee. We got it worked out but it was entirely inconvenient. Please reasses your tech side.Jazmin F.

Pair directions take me to some other place so I picked up my reservation 45 minutes late and then I was returning it had to wait in line for 45 minutes so then I went over my 24 hours and they charged me $40Kevin G.
The truck & appliance dolly were to be ready at 8a. Cs called the day before to confirm, all is well. Got another call later by a woman that sounded like she was on something telling me about an issue & contact the contact the p/u place & work something out, figure what out? I asked do I have a truck for a 8am p/u, do I have an appliance dolly each answer each answer was yes so all was well. Hours later to make sure all was well again I was reassured all was good. Got uhaul at 8am & no way of getting the the truck until 10a. The only dolly that was available was a tiny one & not the appliance dolly that was requested nor paid for. This was a huge mess & would never go through this again. To top everything off the truck was brought back w/o the exact gas, so be it. The charge was huge, absolutely horrible but I was willing to deal w/ it but now they have charged me twice. Stay away. Uhaul used to be awesome don't what happened. Best advice I have is find another companyDaniel D.
I went 7 miles and had it back in less than two hours. Actually less than one hour and was charged for 2 gallons of gas and a penalty because the gas meter was not to there standards. I'm contacting my credit card company about the extra charge.Mike S.

When you say the location is open have somebody there to help the customer. So they can close up their contract and go on there way . I rented a car at bluegrass airport at 10:30 and waited at that location for 40 minutes from 10:00 thanks.!JAMES C.

Had no right side brake, turn, running light. This is a violation that could have caused me a ticket or accident, I was happy about it and this was the only 6x12 trailer they had. I reported this at the drop off location and was positive he will fix for the next customerLarry D.

It's always a disappointment when renting trucks from this place. The clerk behind the counter needs some serious training on how the system works. I'm not going to type out all the frustrations I had, but feel free to call for more info. Also, truck was dirty, and a large empty box with packing was left in the back from previous renter.RYAN T.

I was forced to change my pick up location and type of truck last minute due to some error of over booking. This caused me to go very far out of my way, and ruin the plans for my day. I have used uhaul many many times and am usually happy. But this is unacceptable.Warren S.

When I dropped off the trailer my only guess as to where to put it was beside another trailer that was in the parking lot next to this business location. When I went inside to take care of finalizing things, the clerk asked me if I put the trailer beside the other one, and I said yes. i offered my contract and he said he needed it. He took my paperwork and walked away. He started talking to another worker. That was it. He didn't check the trailer. Later that night I called UHaul customer support because I was concerned about him not checking the trailer and whether or not it would be secured somehow.. The agent confirmed the contract was still open. I told her I did not want to be called in the morning to say the trailer was damaged or missing, meaning I would have to pay for that. She made a note of my call. The CS Agent was friendly and professional.Christian U.

The person that helped me at 980 S Main Street was vary helpful. But customer service at the higher level was absolutely terrible. My original reservation was changed the day I needed the rental and what was provided was not going to work with my situation. Then I was given the run around and lied to by customer service which resulted in me wasting Two and 1/2 hours trying to get the truck and dolly I needed the day of needing it. I will never use U-Haul again for this reason.Daniel Z.

first truck had no AC. second truck leaked all over our furniture and boxes. if that wasn't bad enough between truck one and truck two we spent hours trying to communicate with UHaul because the rental location could not help. they could only tell us to call a useless uhaul phone # or go online. Going online never worked of course. The 800# disconnected us 4 times..No one would ever believe this but when we finally talked to some guy in another UHaul office he connected us to a 900#. YES I said a 900#. If UHaul actually follows through on this survey I will be surprised because the 3 previous promises to call us back never happened.. I would like to talk to UHaul corporate representative one-to-one.Sharon F.

The pick up location was not where we chose to pick up. We were directed there due to the one we chose not having truck we needed. We had also requested moving pads when we made reservation on line, none were available. Had to wait about 10 minutes for clerk to come to counter, this location is operated inside a convenience store.Deborah W.

Not charge $8 for being over mileage when I spent $750 for my rental. All I did was complete my move and your mileage estimate was wrong. Was told I would get a call and never did, just got charged. Awesome customer service. The place was fine for drop off. The U-Haul experience was not a great ending. Buyer beware.Brian K.
Uhaul was dirty on inside looks like hadnt been cleaned at all for awhile. With the covid right now you think they would clean it after every use.KATELYNN M.
Though I had pre-booked online, almost all the contact information in the final contract, emailed to me after the rental and billing, was wrong (except of course my email and credit card number). This is despite my correcting the in-store CSR agent several times. The actual rental cost nearly 3x as much as advertised, despite filing up the gas with my money ($2,65 at their gas pump) Turned Into my being charged (1 gallon = $14 on the final bill in addition), bringing the truck back before due time, with no damage. The trip was within town (few miles). Getting an itemized receipt was impossible for them until after the final bill & charged credit card. Uhaul's vehicle pre-inpection cell apps \ online apps are buggy and crooked (I am an IT professional with 35 years of experience). I recommend you document Every Thing with your Smart Phone camera (photo & video - like we did) This is 'vulture capitalism' especially during a Pandemic and Economic Down Turn (Day after 'Thanksgiving 2020). The check engine light was on and the truck kept skipping gears. I love think the transmission is going out. I forgot to mention to the clerk. The clerk was very nice and gave excellent customer serviceroxie T.
The guy that runs this location is a weasle. I asked and got permission to leave the auto transport there until i was ready to load up (after loading uhaul), he said yes, he then turnes around and checked it in the next day, claimed i returned it, then turned around and rented it out. Not ever telling me. When i come to get the transport and realize it was gone Nd decided to call the 800 number instead of dealing with this scum, one of his family members that operated. Clothing store beaide this place (attached one building), came out recording and laughing and hurried insise the uhaul part of the store pointin at his phone. THE 800 NUMBER CUSTOMER SERVICE I GIVE A+ TO, HOWEVER A MERE REFUND HERE AND THERE, AND A DISCOUNT ON MY NEXT RENTAL IS HELPFUL BUT DOES NOT BEGIN TO COVER THE OUTRAGE AND FRUSTRATION I HAVE WITH THIS LOCATION BEING AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS WITH UHAUL. I WOULD URGE UHAUL TO LOOK OVER THIS FACILITIES ORDERS AND SEE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE COSTED THEM. OH DID I MENTION THIS WEASLE ALSO CHANGED MY LOCATION FOR DROP OFF WHICH MADE MY BILL JUMP 90$ MORE... THIS WAS AWFUL. FRIDAY AFTERNOON HAD TO DEAL WITH RUSH HR TRAFFIC IN A 26' FT UHAUL TRUCKWilliam W.
Go rent somewhere else!! My 3rd time going through them (they were the closest UHaul place). Issues EVERY time. EXTREMELY slow & poor service- staff woman doesn't know how to do her job. Owner? man also very slow! VERY LONG wait times!!! Units not clean; mileage not recorded correctly. Had to go back to get a refund claim started because woman there didn't do her job & tried to pass blame onto ME!! Never going back to this location, nor will I recommend them. i chose to pickup the truck without any contact with the store. I go through the whole long process and when i went to the box to pickup the key, it wasn't there. A lot of good contactless pickup did me! Very inconvenient, especially when i was in a rush! won't recommend this to anyone! i had to go into the store. that meant i had to go back to my car to get my mask and when i do get to the store, there are customers in there with no mask on. This was not what I asked for!!!!!Pamela W.

When I picked up my rental the 1 st truck I was given had dents that they had not noted. Then I was changed to a 2nd truck that ended up having no brakes so I went back into the store to report that issue and so they again changed my rental back to the 1st truck but denying that there was issues/damage to the truck. After sometime finally they decided to take a pic of the damage to note. After getting the truck home to get ready to load, the cab and back was so dirty that we had to sweep out the back and empty the cab that had numerous cans and bottles in the floorboard and cigerattes full in the console. My experience at pickup was awful. Have made a verbal complaint and waiting for a return call.Stacy S.

The person I spoke to at the pick up location was very helpful. The people I talked to on the phone at the 800 number when making my reservation were also very helpful. The issue appears to be that the information in the computer system does not match the pick up location. I reserved a 17 inch truck with an appliance dolly, a regular dolly and furniture pads. this location does not have any furniture pads and was not aware of my reservation for either of the dollies. I was very lucky because several people were picking up vehicles and at first they did not believe they had dollies at all. Luckily no one else had taken them or someone had just returned them so I was able to get what I wanted. On the phone when I called the 800 number I was told one pick up locationBut ended up having to go to the location where I ended up picking it up. For me the new pick up location was better but for others this might be a problem. It doesn't appear like the computer system knows where the equipment people are renting truly is. The staff are amazing and accommodated with the computer system definitely need some upgrades. I wished I had known the direct number to the location where I was picking up to begin with and this would have been the better way to make a reservation.Norman Y.
