Very quick on pickup. Was looked after right away, and location is a gas station so filling up and drop off so easy

They need to make thing more clear about the truck ur using we were under the impression that it was gonna be cheaper from what they told us then it comes out to 300$ not pleased at all !

Clean but not maintained. This van has had the same issues for months. It has been in fir service but most issues are never resolved. They were (the issues)entered into the system months ago

don't tell me I can pick up in woodstock then send me way out to tillsinburg way out of my way it cost me more than I than I expected bad business in my books

Not much, being a Gas Station as well you need to be patient as they are dealing with 2 separate businesses at the same time.

I rented an enclosed utility trailer that was filthy smelly and full of grease of some source, as if some one fill it up with manure I did mention that at the moment when I picked up and the only reason I took it was because, I had to, I was not able to use it in that condition so I had to take it and wash it before loading anything on it, Too bad I didn't get a thank you for returning g that better that when I got it

Staff were friendly and very helpful. I was struggling to park the truck and the store owner offered to help.

The personnel described the back of the truck not “clean” I feel as those the company should provide more details on how “clean: it should be, as in the midst of moving, I feel as though that is not my responsibility since payment for truck was included.

Truck had lots of mud in the back when I picked it up, had to sweep entire truck before I could use it, smelled like animal feces, ramp had hay stuck to it, probably was used to move livestock before me. Truck was almost empty when I got it…. Tires were beyond bald, truck was shaky, was charged for 2 full days when I was 25 hours, was rudely asked why I switched the truck to Metric from US measurements…. WE LIVE IN CANADA! Won't return! You're welcome for bringing it back with more gas, since it's hard to judge bringing it back with the same level. No km allowance! Next time I will use Jamison. Trucks are more expensive but they are maintained.

Only complaint is that I booked a uhaul for pick up at 10 am from Sunsrise Small Engine and Rental on Sunset in St. Thomas. Arrived there and he wasn't expecting me and didn't have a truck. Found me in the system and sent me down Sunset to a other Uhaul pickup location at St. Thomas Self Storage beside Shaws Ice Cream. They had a truck but handed the keys and said to see if it would start and let it run for a bit because it had been sitting for several days in the cold. The battery was dead and was told the only other truck available in Southwestern Ontario was a truck in Tillsonburg. Move was delayed by 2 hours by the time we got the truck from Tillsonburg and made it back to St. Thomas and almost didn't have a truck at all.

At this location there is nothing you need to do, Family run and all are very knowledgeable about the rental process and products available to rent

Truck not full of fuel. It cost me $121 to fill up. I left at least a 1/4 tank more in it that I had paid for. Was told I had to call Uhaul to get a rebate. It was just under a 1/2 tank when picked up and just under 3/4 tank when returned. I have pics.

It was a struggle to get something rented for starters. I was told to go to a completely different city when I just had to move from one side of town to the other (it would have added over 100kms to my trip). Then managed to get a new truck arranged. The staff wasn't polite at all. Kept saying to bring the truck back my 3pm (the end of our reservation). I told them this wouldn't be a problem as I had to go drop someone off at the airport anyways but they kept asking and asking us to return the truck by 3pm. We returned the truck at noon (3 hours early) and were given a massive amount of attitude upon us returning the equipment. Would not recommend

Ordered a fridge cart. Store did not have it when we picked up Uhaul. Store had changed it to a utility cart (with my consent). Since UHaul's head office apparently does not keep records of changes made I was called a liar on the phone by UHaul phone rep. Will not be using UHaul EVER again and will be sharing my story and evidence with everyone I know who needs to move. The staff at the Petro Canada we're excellent, though and the reason for 3 stars is divided like this: 5 stars for the rental location; 1 star for UHaul heads and their system. Ruins the organization when a rep calls you a liar.

The truck ran well however clearly it needs preventative maintenance. Green tool Light was on and the check engine light came on about 2 km in each leg of the journey. (9 miles total).

The u-haul location where I picked up the truck is also a gas station. When I talked to the owners wife this morning she told me to put $5 due to the short distance I had to travel. I put the 5 when I stopped to use the washroom at an other location. I came back to drop off the truck and the inspection went fine. The owner told me he was adding a $5 for gas. I told him that I had already had put gas in. He then became rude and told me I had no common sense, that I should have put the gas at his station. I was never told that I was obligated to put gas at his gas station, and implied I was lying to him. I became very angry but I thought it was not worth to keep arguing over $5. The went kept laughing at me in front of other clients, I told him to keep the $5 perhaps he needed it more than I. I have used U-Haul since I immigrated to Canada in 1990. I have never had an issue with your company. It makes sad that one of your operators decided to accused me of being a lier and to ridicule me in front of other customers. I will not go back to that place if I can help it. I hope there is another location I can use, as Tillsonburg is a small town. Otherwise I will be renting from someone else.

The location is at a gas station/variety store. The owner/clerk works alone and stops processing the UHaul customer each time another customer enters the facility. This results in taking 20 minutes to over a half hour each time a customer picks up or drops off a rental. This has happened both times I have rented from this location. On the drop off of my last rental there were 2 other customers lined up. As she served those two customers three more customers entered the facility. The owner/clerk said to me " I am just going to look after these customers". I replied that " I am a customer too". Her reply was that they only take a few minutes, to which I noted that at a few minutes for each customer I will be waiting 20 minutes to half an hour (again). She replied well I am working alone and that she would email me the invoice. To which I replied that I would need to trust her, which I admit could be misinterpreted but what I meant was that with the invoice emailed to me I would not have the opportunity to check that the invoice was correct and that I agreed with it. She then told me that she would not complete the invoice while I was present and she would email me the invoice. While we were having this debate 2 more "customers" entered the facility and I could see that I would not be served in even a half hour. I then left.

I had reserved a 15' truck, but the day before I was informed that there were only 20' trucks available. They also made me drive to Tillsonburg, because there weren't any available in Simcoe. I had to drive a third of the way to my final destination, drive back to Simcoe, before driving to London! When I went to pick it up, they gave me a 26' truck! Driving that thing was horrible!

Ac in the truck blew cold air but did not blow much air. HVAC fan seemed to be work as it should but just next to no air coming through the vents. I assume the cabin air filter was plugged and should be checked more often. Was a very hot ride to and from the location. I made the location I picked it up at aware of the issue.

I parked the trailer beside a uhaul truck then was politely told to move it to the other side of the parking lot with the other trailers which I hadn't noticed at first. Overall a short but good experience.

Work on the website. I went to change my password, received a verification code, but the website just kept looping back to coding where the code should be sent to. That is, when the website would load at all. I had a mobile pick up, but had to use the in person option once I got there because the website would not work. Fortunately, it was during working hours and there was staff present to help

WE rent here all the time but took unusually long to pick up vehicle and lady has always been in a good mood in the past but not today :(

We had use of both trucks asxwell as movers. All trucks worked well and in good repair. Movers were polite and moved our belongings as if it was their own. Very happy with their service!!

Have equipment at agreed location, not letting me know the day before that trailer was 40 miles away, when I reserved , booked and confirmed weeks prior.

Don't yell at your customers about the truck being in town only when we used the app and gave proper addresses. We attempted to use a service offered on the website(refueling service)and was told they wouldn't do it and wouldn't give a price.

The owner was rude about the van not being spot less. I have rented from place before with no issues. The van was clean, but not spot less. I was not sure what the owner wanted me to do power wash the inside and wax it.
