Great experience, customer service was top notch! There was an issue with the first truck I rented and Mike called me with a solution right away. Only took a few minutes at the counter to get us on the road, would definitely use this location again.
Shae-Lynn ETheir was no one their so I used the app to drop the trailer off it was easy . Just take a few pictures and your on your way .

Terry LFirst location was a drop off. We didn't know we weren't going to a building where we could talk andbinteract with a person. We couldn't navigate the app, so called and booked at a new location. This too was a remote location. Grrrr. The lock was froze with ice. We then went to a 3rd location which finally had a real person to help. That went well. However, It took is a hour of driving and was delayed for our business drop off. Likely won't use u haul again

Adrian LThe overall experience with the truck itself was great. However, my experience with picking the truck up was poor. My pickup time was 4:45, we showed up approximately 4:50 as I had just came from work. I had gotten a call earlier that day and was told if I showed up anytime past 5 that there would be no one there to serve me, which was understandable. When we arrived, our greeting was "just in time." The gentleman behind the desk did what he had to do on the computer and gave us a brochure. He explained absolutely nothing to us about anything. This was my first time renting U-Haul and had expected at the very least to go over some main points as to what I was signing. After passing the brochure, he said "I am going to drive your truck up front now." Again, I was expecting to go over some main features of the truck, just a quick walk around but again to my disappointment he just jumped out of the truck after pulling it out from its parking space and said "have a good one" and proceeded to go back inside, lock up and leave. This to me was terrible customer service and as much as I enjoyed the whole "truck" experience itself, I'm not sure I would recommend this location (3 Maverick Drive, Paradise,NL) to anyone because of this pick up experience.

FRANCIS JHad zero issues with picking up the truck. The gentlemen I dealt with was friendly and easy to get along with. Everything was explained to me in detail on how to drop off the truck. I would recommend this place to anything looking to rent a Uhaul truck.

MARK EHonestly my rating here is for U-Haul in total, not specifically this location. I made my booking a month+ in advance. I booked a specific size and a specific pick up location, at a specific time. Everything was changed the day before. I was given a bigger truck, which honestly wasn't an issue. But I had specifically booked for a location that was close to my place, and it was changed to one that was across town from me, and I booked for a 7:30am pick up time because I had to drive 8-9 hours to get to where I was going, and that time was changed till 9:30am instead. We had to call and get the booking changed to the day before so that I wasn't too delayed. The truck was picked up with only a quarter tank of gas, which was told to the worker at the Paradise U-Haul who said she would make a note of it for our return, however we were still charged for being "under gas", even though we had photograph proof that we filled it up exactly as it was when we got it. All around just awful service

Kevin bThe size of the rental truck we booked was not available, so we had to take a much larger truck, we were told it would only be about $80 in fuel to where we were going, but the fuel bill was double that at $170.
FRANCIS JThe staff is great and i just upgraded to a much larger unit. Even though i had most everything on pallets in the unit, there was water damage to lots of boxes on back wall and floor was wet hence the rating. The staff is 5 out of 5 stars and this location is my go to now for all my bookings with uhaul if they have the equipment available. If it wasn't for the leaking or moisture built up from humidity it would of been 5/5 across the board.

Jordan DI would highly recommend this location Mike, went above and beyond to help me. Kenmount rd location cancelled my truck the day before my move, some how the nature of my reservation changed had me going out of province even though I had the original email confirming the correct details. Kenmount rd was not helpful at all, I will never go there again. However, R & M self storage is the place to go. If Mike can help you he will, and will go out of his way to try to help. Highly recommend them.

bill sthere needs to be better Communication and training at your pick up and drop off stations. If i didnt have the 24/7 number i would have never getten my uhaul cause the location the store send me there was no uhaul so then i had to call the 24/7 number to get them to find something else for me cause when i call the main store they didnt do anything for me dont know if they didnt know what to do or just didnt want to put the time in to it. i didnt not get the sizes off uhaul i requested. it is a very poorly Organized team. every different person i talk to had something different to say. uhaul really needs to be more there for there customers. have much easier ways to to book and drop off. it is great when u can talk to someone on the phone but they need to be able to do absolutely 100 % for u not everyone can use the apps or get a email. if u had a much old person call and u told them do download a app they could say what do u mean u cant do it for me.
june dI made one reservation and it got changed so many times. Very stressful on top of trying to move by myself. In person at paradise location the customer service was good! Dealt with a very rude woman on phone day before my pickup. It was a stressful experience unfortunately.

Charro MDuring the rental the brake service light came on. Brakes had to be applied hard to the floor to brake the vehicle.
Walter LI had a call from Matt on the morning of my rental to advise that the truck I had booked was on an accident. He connected with some of his partners and located a truck for me. A gentleman went in on his day off to provide me with a key( Good Friday) and I actually got a larger truck. Matt was awesome in responding to this crisis and securing a truck for me. I appreciate this so much and got moved when scheduled. Thanks Matt!!!!

Frank S | Expérience généraleAttendant was very nice, but poorly trained, my contract was made out to the wrong name, driver license was wrong. The truck was so dirty in the cab that we actually had to wash it and clean it before we could use it. The driver's door would not unlock with the key, the passenger door was so out of adjustment that it was almost impossible to close. I had to fight to try and remove the key from the ignition, the back was full of ice and snow. The rear door was very difficult to raise and The lock was junk. The exhaust manifolds were falling off, but other then that all was good.
wayne sWe only had this storage unit for 2 months, when we went to remove our belongings the entire unit had been infested with mice. There were droppings and stains over all our furniture. No food was stored in there not sure of the attraction but it was gross. Our couch went right in the dump.

David CMany occasions the heat in our units were not turned on. This resulted in the loss of multiple pieces of furniture due to mold. There is no security. We had a break in to one of our units and they stole some valuable items. No cameras on that side of the building. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

Frank SInside cab looked like its never been cleaned. I was to pick this up in St.John's as I just arrived by plane. U Haul said I had to go 20min away to get the truck, I had to scramble to find a ride to Paridise, 20minutes drive away. My pick up time was for 1pm. this place closes at 1.pm trailer wasn't connected yet to the truck so I had to do that. Driving Back to st.john's, I drove by the place I was suppose to pick it up from and they had lots of them in the parking lot. WTF. Person that was working when I picked up the truck locked up shop because they closed at one and was gone before I had a change to start the truck. I guess I was holding him up from his Saturday BBQ

IPS IOn my second month there when I went to get some items out of the unit my things were full of condensation and there was bugs in my unit. I went to speak to the representative at the desk and I asked him if this was normal and explain that I felt that the whole point of paying for a storage unit was so that you could count on your items being OK. The day I was there even the hallways smelled musty. When I explained the situation to the representative At the desk he looked at me and said "well what do you want me to do about it". Thats why i moved my things out.
