The app was difficult to maneuver thru, but this was my first time using app. Got thru the SELFIEs part, for PICKING UP MY TRUCK, then as I am proceeding thru to the next step, app BOOTS ME OUT THEN I MUST START AGAIN!! Getting kicked out, I wasn't able to complete my PRE-PICKUP REQUIREMENTS on the app. Starting again, it's now asking for contact info/passport#/copy of lease agreement/etc. in my opinion this info should have been requested AS SOON AS THE APP/WEBSITE OPENED, to speed up PICKUP PROCESS, which it DID NOT!! It took OVER 45 minutes to get thru app (with actual person from customer service on line with me (her name was Victoria)) before I could get my truck. GGGRRRR!! Also, as customer service representative (Victoria) mentioned, if you are late to pick up rental it will delay your PICK UP PROCESS thru the appâ€¦â€¦.NO WHERE ON SIGN UP PROCEDURES WAS THIS MENTIONED!! It should be at top and bottom of registration/confirmation screens! Not sure if App issue was because business where I picked up was closed (& maybe not having their wifi active) or if it was actual app issues, either way I wasn't the only one there at pickup who was having App issues thus we all were on the phone with customer service. My opinion, bad business for U-Haul, with unreliability of using app, thus making renters go elsewhere since after/before hours issues are an issue. Frustrating process, because upon returnâ€¦..NO ISSUES, since business was open.Lisa F.

The last time I'd rented from here was perfect. Nice, clean, newer vehicle. This time was a nightmare. The inside was filthy from sticky stuff all over the floor, a dirty back area, and what looked like a wad of spit on the inside of the windshield that I didn't go anywhere near. The vehicle that I'd rented this second time also only had the most basic radio possible that went out during my 3+hour drive each way.Matthew M.

They said we used 100 miles which we did not. They never told me to check the miles when I got into the truck to make sure that what was on the paper was right. They were very rude about it and said there was nothing they could do. They said it was our fault. I will NEVER come to this location again. All they want is money. Poor customer service.Heather L.

Was priced $40 at time of pickup. Nobody came out to help us to show us the correct trailer. Apparently the trailer i picked up was a different one... "it was the only one in the location i was told to pick up" i returned the trailer after use. And was told everything was good to go and my paperwork "original" was my receipt. I left and about an hour later i received an email receipt for $130. I called to inquire and nobody answered. I then went on the website to inquire and was told a ticket was opened and someone would contact me. I haven't heard anything. This is the absolute worst uhaul experience I've ever had. In my 15tears of using uhaul! 0 % recommend not even as a last resort.Jeremy H.

The older employee there was rude and disrespectful. The customer service was horrible getting the uhaul. When I returned it the customer service was extremely better. A different employee took my return and they were much more pleasant.CATHLENE J.

He added miles that weren't there. The mileage on the truck is less than what he recorded. Check the paperwork. Do all of your locations inflate mileage for extra money? He then argued about the gas because he said it was a touch low, even though I just put some in and saw it say 3/4 on the gauge and wanted an extra $7.88. Poor. Not friendly, extremely slow and disorganized, equipment in rough shapeâ€¦won't be back, please remove me from all communication moving forward.christopher K.

The family that runs this were late opening there store. Myself and several other people had appointments for 9am when they were supposed to open taking 20-30 min to check me out and I was first in line. Several people were very irritated because they were losing time they had paid for. I will not be using this location again.Christopher M.
Check engine light was on when I received the truck. Agent did not go over truck condition damages etc before giving me the truck. It was not clear to me because I booked online the truck didn't have a ramp. My credit card shows 2 pending charges of the same amount for this truck and I don't understand why I'm being charged double was what discussed. Only thing I didn't like is that the truck I received had a huge dent to the driver side tow bed. It wasn't noted anywhere in paperwork, or a company sticker acknowledging the damage. I took pictures prior to driving off the lot.Michael C.

I came 15 minutes before opening time of 9AM. The store didn't open until 9:10AM. An improvement would be to open on time. The parking lot grass area was full of litter so cleaning up would be an improvement. Positives are the truck is in good shape and I was able to pick up and return it easily.Xinxing C.

The equipment was filthy. Seats, steering, cup holder, dashboard were all dirty and very filthy. The cargo area was unclean.Peter I.
I reserved the truck for an *AM pickup and was told it would be available at the above location at that time. When I arrived, the place did not open until 9AM, After calling U-Haul for help I discovered that I was supposed to have been given instruction of getting the key for a self-serve box at that location. The people at U-Haul that I called, referred us to UHaul.com but we were still not able to access the box and they finally hung up on me. Finally, the office opened and I got the truck within 10 minutes. I am very disappointed with that location and whoever at U-Haul set me up for the self-serve pickup without letting me know how to do it. In addition, the truck road like a tank, and the suspension - even loaded- allowed me to feel every small bump in the road, The engine was the loudest engine I ever have driven. It was not the kind of service and equipment I was used to getting from the crew at you Gettysburg Road, Mechanicsburg, PA store. They wer alwas a delight to work ith.GEorge E.
