PAH TThe truck stank really bad like ass. literal ass. they charged me for 2 miles fuel even though I added fuel to equal 3/4 a tank just like when I picked it up. the owner of the shop is rude and mobile pickup does not mean contactless
Sarah WThe guy at the desk made me wait while he helped customers who came in after me. He watched videos on his phone while checking me in. The truck itself had terrible alignment. The wheel had to be held roughly 30 degrees to the left to keep the truck straight, and the truck wobbled violently above 45 mph. It was a terrible drive.

VA MThis location is scary. Located in a less affluent location, if I were a single woman returning the truck myself I would have not wanted to go there. Fortunately my husband was there with me. Also the owner, Ray, was curt to the point of rudeness. He did not want to speak with us and did not want to look at the truck (we took pictures of everything.) When we said we were returning pads, he gave us 3 bags and said he would charge us $1 per bag if they were not folded before being put in the bags. Is this standard? We didn't mind doing so but it was said in a very annoyed condescending way. Not a place I would visit again if given a choice. His attendant was young and polite but apparently could do nothing without his boss.
Steven SOverall would not recommend U-Haul. They changed locations on us last min (booked weeks before) and then wouldn't accommodate the extra mileage cost. Would have gone with another group likely had we known the mileage to and from the location sooner. Manager never called back as I was told they would and then we called and she just yelled at us. Later the order was just cancelled by her which was never requested. Had to call back to get arranged. The day of the rental the truck was dirty, the app check out process stopped working at the end. Tried to call and got put on hold for over an hour to talk to someone. Can't sit and wait for this long when you are renting equipment for periods of time. Took pics of the issues and then finally got someone on the phone about 75-90 mins later who sent the remaining check out process about the trunk conditions and then refused to allow us to state original conditions as we "needed to take pics before moving the truck". If this is the case, then you need to have people available to help when issues come up with your apps in the moment and not hours later. Whole process was a headache and frustrating.
Ashley TI made a reservation 2 weeks ago for the closest location to me. To my surprise, I receive a notification a few hours later that the location has changed to one a few more miles away. I figured it would be fine as long as we had a truck moving! Well, literally the day before I am supposed to pick up the truck, I receive another notification that it's been moved to another location an hour away!!!! When I called Uhaul, the person couldn't help me so I canceled my whole reservation and booked a new one for the rice street location. This is upsetting! I bet this was all because the customer pays for mileage and not so much because of the availability!
Sophie MTruck was filthy. Steering was loose. Customer service was lacking, as person was concerned about my concerns. Truck was low on gas when received. I filled tank and barely used any gas, was not offered any type of compensation
THERESA NUhaul has gone to hell. It's a joke!!!!! You send me to a location without a counter. Then I change my pickup to phone and I don't get a code!!! Then I get sent to a counter location!!! Put me behind in time!!! I'll use Ryder or Avis next time!!!!!!!!! What is wrong with Uhaul are you paying the CEO too much!!!!!
Mitchell BNot over charge, I went 11 miles, was charged $38 for 8 gallons of gas & a $30 fuel service fee. I put 1 gallon of gas back in for the 11 miles I drove putting the fuel tank back up towards a quarter of a tank. I even took a Picture of the mileage & fuel tank under a quarter tank when receiving truck. When inside to show the tobacco store my receipt & they said it all falls on uhaul and to call them.. what a joke!
THOMAS CA tobacco store is not the best location for picking up a 26 ft. U-Haul truck. There was not truck walk-thru or suggestions. Here are the keys, good luck. They did not have the rental blankets I ordered, which cost me money having to buy from stores and movers. Truck was clean, but I am not sure if the truck was in working order. I called for roadside assistance twice.

Jonah RThe air conditioning in the truck did not function at all. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable during the check-out/check-in process. People who are sensitive to scents might have an issue, but I thought the shop smelled lovely.

We also were made to submit information 3 times and each customer service rep would say to do one thing and then eventually redo the online check is. It took us 2 hours. The truck never came with the requested equiptment as well

James RLocated in the hood. They sell tobacco products. Smells kinda bad. No internet connection so signing to take pictures of my ID was kinda a hassle.

Alec HI was scammed on the fuel charge. I took photo and video of fuel gauge and they said I didn't fill it to correct amount. The photo evidence proves them wrong. Don't drop off at this location.
Nick TThis location is within a convenience store. It took over 30 minutes to be helped because only one person was present. I had difficulty hooking the trailer up so I asked for help. The person was not sure how to hook the trailer up either. The hook-up didn't look/seem correct so we ended up going to a different location (the pick-up location we originally asked for). They help us with the hook-up quickly and we were on our way.
Sara KCab of the truck was filthy, smokey, and disgusting. We had to wipe it down ourselves to make it slightly presentable. The vehicle drove nice. The bed was fine. The property manager was friendly and nice but working by himself and trying to run his smoke shop at the same time. Was checking out the vehicle for well over an hour. There are so many other U-Haul areas around St. Paul, I will not be using this one again.
Thomas SNot necessarily a negative on the location, but UHaul in general. I did not reserve for this Pick Up location, I had picked a location on University Avenue, but was then sent details for this location instead. I had reserved 24 moving blankets, this location did not have enough of them on-hand so I still went to the University Avenue location to pick-up more blankets. I was also in communication with UHaul about participating in the Equipment Distribution program, but the pick-up location did not have the trailer that I was assigned.

timothy bI made a reservation just to get there and somebody else supposedly took my U-Haul which is the $19.99. I get there to pick it up and they tell me somebody took my truck and I have to get the $29,99 truck and pay more. Very unprofessional and just wrong and didn't even try to make it right.

Jes SEasy to find location. Van had some leafs in the back but it wasn't an issue for us. The gentleman that helped me was very polite and friendly both at pick up and drop off. I would recommend this location for uhaul rentals.
