We had an issue with a location in Florence, a hair salon not being able to get the key to the truck we had reserved. I drove over to the main location and Lana, the general manager, was beyond helpful!!! The original reservation was cancelled and she started over got a hold of her general manager over the area. Lana told me the key would be available inside the salon location. I drove back over to that location walked in and got the key to the truck we had reserved . Lana would have rented me one of their many trucks but I had a one way to Athens Al and all she had was a 15 ft truck which was not big enough for our needs. A long story short, Lana was our hero that made a bad situation good. The next day as we were unloaded and having to stop to fuel up, for some reason the battery was dead, fortunately my wife was there with me and we had jumpers in our car, jumped it off and told the gentleman at the drop off location. This was the only issue I had with the truck but because we had jumpers and I could easily get to the truck with my car it worked out.

Kind of a small lot for larger trucks. No one at the location during drop off

NASH BShannon went out of her way to be helpful, unlike the manager at the Florence Blvd location, that I first attempted rental from. I would NEVER recommend to that facility (Florence Boulevard) to anyone for anything, as long as she is a manager. Because we were moving, I had just updated my license, to our new address. She would NOT use my paper license, even though I had Corp customer service on the phone, and they stated that it was no problem to use it and I had my old license available, as a backup. The manager at the Florence Blvd location needs more customer relations training. However, Shannon at the Wood Ave store was a pleasure to deal with and I would rent from her facility again.

MARK HI got charged $56. I actually dropped the truck off a day earlier than I was supposed to. There should not have been another charge.

Rebecca AMy Uhaul reservation was not sent to Shalom Salon. They had no record, even though I had been sent a confirmation (24922934) by Uhaul. Thanks to the very courteous, friendly, capable, and concerned people at Shalom, I was able to get a truck to make the move. They went above and beyond to fix Uhaul's error.
Christopher MI waited for an hour past my pick up time for someone to show up and give me the keys. How do you guarantee your reserved time or pay 50 dollars to the customer but not follow up to that. Horrible service and I will not be doing business again.

PIPER GU could let a person Kno up front and ahead of time if u plan to charge any extra charges on their card before doing it, especially if the person ask that question multiple times? How much r ya charging my card? I asked 3 times if it was gonna be a a 63 dollar charge and each time his reply, was a yes and in fact it was charged a 124,96 and that's a big difference to me, especially when I live on a fixed income and was traveling to Michigan already

ramona pTrain the staff. Didn't know how to use computer to get out contract. We reserved a week ahead to prevent any problems. My husband went to pick up and no one was there. Then they said they were having computer problems. They gave him the trailer but later called my phone to finish contract. I work night shift. It took 4 phone calls to finish up contract, one of which I was told our truck wasn't compatible and to bring back trailer. It was compatible because we specifically checked into that the week before. Then was told the contract was going to be emailed and it was not. Had to call back next AM while traveling on the road to get it emailed. Again had to wait on hold for her to ask how to get contract sent. Then was never informed we needed reservation to drop off later. Was told we could just leave it at any uhaul provider which was not true; which caused a problem with drop off. She was nice but did not know how to set up the system. Would not recommend
Linda BUnlike the Birmingham location Shannon was very professional very kind and very efficient. You were in and out of there no time she inspecting the vehicle thoroughly and then energy started to have a problem with her computer this was not her fault by any means but she handled it perfectly. she told me I was good to go and that you would call me if there's any problems that you would finalize it on her own time that's me means the world that shows that that person really cared about their customer and I will continue to use U-Haul simply based on Shannon professionalism absolutely fantastic.
