Pick up and drop off was smooth, only problem was the trailers were still snowed in after a recent snow storm. (Who rents a trailer after a snow storm) It took longer than expected to get out of there but the employee did his best to shovel us out. Will rent from here again.MATTHEW F.

I returned the rented trailer the same night and completed the mobile return. Today I was charged fora second rental day without notice. Once I completed the mobile return, I did not receive a confirmation via text or email.Arthur C.
This review has nothing to do with the Silverback Services location specifically, but about the Uhaul process more generally. I wanted the truck starting at 8AM, but the location didn't open until 9AM. So when I reserved the truck, I signed up for the Online Check-In option so I could get the truck at 8. But the online checkin process was so insanely tedious and had so many hoops to jump through (including waiting for a real human at Uhaul.com to verify that my picture matched my license...which took almost half an hour just for that step) that I didn't complete the online check-in process until 9:10!!! Had I known it was going to take that long, I would have just signed up for an in-person check in and saved myself a wasted hour+ of frustration and tedium.Brian W.
Poor customer service at Silverback. They told me they "don't deal with u-boxes on the weekend because they are so complicated and the box guy doesn't work on weekends." Ummm what? I'm pretty sure most people move on the weekends. If you can't figure it out, maybe you shouldn't be dealing with u-boxes at all. They suggest that I pay for a uhaul truck to RELOAD ALL OF MY UBOXES onto. Are you kidding me?!?!? After I asked them if they are will comp me a truck and gas, they come back and say will have someone there buy only from 0900-1200 Saturday and Sunday. Well, how nice of them. I do not recommend this hillbilly, right-wing location (all they have are pro-gun, 'Merica propaganda posted all over the place) for any kind of uhual service. Worst experience ever.Christina K.

We had problems with the Gas Gage We were told that it had 7/8th of a tank but it hed less then 3/8th it took 35 gal. The truck needs to be looked at, and the radio was not working and the buttons would not changeJOHN P.

Not much. Service was GREAT and Mike brought truck to me at my vehicle. Rich was awesome taking care of my reservation from another location when I changed my mind on where I wanted to make him my drop off point since closer to my new house. Mileages was thirty cents less then Maryland local. Woot woot. Thanks so much guys will definitely be back to you if ever need anything in the future.JOHN B.

Trailer jack was broken upon pick up. Pick up center put the trailer on my truck but clearly didn't care that it was broke. I hurt my back/ shoulder getting trailer off and missed 2 days of workMARK F.

The cost of 130 $was outrages for a 4hr rental to pickup a couch. I thought it's a great idea to use your service to pick up items I purchase on Facebook Marketplace, but it's an awful idea because of the cost.Lisa S.

I was extremely disappointed to receive a phone call the night before our pick-up that our location had been changed from Shrewsbury, 2 minutes away, to Red Lion, 20 minutes away, to an unknown location. I can walk to the Shrewsbury location, but had to make all kind of arrangements to get to Red Lion.Mary F.

Shout out to Rich, the Uhaul guy at Silverback Towing. He definitely went beyond the call of duty and exhibited limitless patience as I called him over and over with problems I was having with self check-in and check-out. He was working remotely because of covid and my phone was not letting me do the steps. Be sure to plan on extra time if you do the self check-in. Uhaul's website is frustrating and needs revamped. For example, after you register, instead of telling you you're done, it just says Error. The check-in process too needs much improvement. If you can't scan the bar code of the location it tells you don't worry you can take a photo of it or enter the number. But it doesn't tell you how to send the photo or whether it was received, and doesn't give you the option to enter the number at all. Again. I would have been completely lost if not for Rich talking me through it.Rebecca S.

The guy who was supposed to assist me to hook up a trailer was very ignorant an misinformed. He tried to sell me a new hitch that was rated for for the same as the one I had 5k. I almost walked back in asked for a refund and went to Penske. I will probably not use this location again which is a shame because the guy at the desk was really niceThomas W.
I didn't like that my truck only had a quarter tank of gas. I was told to put it back at a quarter tank of gas and that's not easy. I liked when the tank was full and when you were done you topped it back off. I thought I was going to use more gas and left almost a quarter tank extra that I paid for in the truck. Please go back to giving the customers a truck with a full tank of gas!Robert K.
When I first got there I was a little annoyed that we had to do crap with our phone. But as I got there it was ok. The app suck that they have. It wouldn't let me put that the tank was full and the picture taking was a pain in the ass. Basically the app sucks that uhaul has Flat out lol. All I wanted was a truck to move with lol. But all in all it was a good experience,made me realize I never wanna move again lol.Donald S.
It was raining really hard and they were closed. Their parking lot is slippery when its raining, they need to dig some lines across the lot so that you don't slip while walking around the truck to take the pictures.sharon P.

The check in process was brutal. Spent 45 minutes to get the. This site booted us 4 times. Had to start over 4 times. This 45 minutes were counted as part of my rentalPat M.

I had a very hard time using the app on my phone so they had to help me out and they were really great......not sure if I did something wrong ore my older Galaxy S5 phone was the issue. .....but was Extremely frustrating. .....once they helped me out everything else was great! Next time I would just call them direct and not use your App! I'm sure I must have done something wrong it doesn't seem like a bad idea......David B.
Staff was wonderful and helpful! U-Haul system was slow as always but don't blame the staff for that. Some troubles with the app too but technology never seems to work when you want it. When I reserved my truck, it was at the Onion Blvd location in Shrewsbury, PA.When I got the confirmation call the next day, the location was changed to Red Lion PA which is 10 miles farther than the location I picked, costing me approximately 25 $just in mileage fees to get the truck.. Also, when I spoke to the man about the confirmation, he told me they opened at 9 am.....when I got there, the guy told me I could have done everything online and picked the truck up earlier.MARIE C.
