The trucks transmission was shot, I couldnt go over 25 to 30 miles. It was loud and embarissing on top of all that I have been charged 3 times for 1 day.

I rented an item and then found that I needed a different rental. I took the original rental off the lot but had to return it and rent a different item. I was not offered any refund. I realized this was in the contract but I thought there should be some sort of reimbursement or discount on the replacement rental.

Over charged, no customer service, management seemed racist towards me. I honestly drove 15-20 miles and was charged for 61 miles. I drove to a nearby location, picked up 200 chairs, delivered 200 chairs, and over filled the gas tank to full only to get treated like trash by a non understanding women who clearly agreed that there was No possible way I could complete that trip in less than 2 hrs along with driving 61miles......nevertheless she dismissed me and told me to call 1800uhaul which I did and now there is a dispute.

After I left the lot, I noticed a crack in the windshield and also noticed a wing nut missing from the dolly that was supposed to be locked that came loose. I called to report this to Manager Shawn McKinley at 513-681-9700. He said “don’t worry about it”. Upon return, McKinley was dishonest and said I didn’t mention the crack in the windshield and only mentioned a “scratch” and the loose dolly that he was already aware of, yet, not proactive to resolve before renting to me. Regardless that I purchased Safemove insurance that the uhaul site clearly states covers window cracks, McKinley continued to be untruthful, defensive, disrespectful and was clearly trying to cover for his lack of follow through after I called. I spent 8 hours in 90 degree heat helping an elderly woman move her entire apartment by myself; then to come back to the frustration of a lying manager and another that doesn’t understand what Safemove covers, I am acutely disappointed. I still haven’t been contacted and was not given the balance of my deposit back. Before I left the lot that morning, I I looked over the truck with the female manager on duty and she placed stickers on the truck where scratches on the truck existed (although she ran out of stickers and wasn’t able to mark them all)- I DIDNT CALL to report a “scratch” . I called to report a CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD. I shouldn’t have to sit around a uhaul office for 45 minutes while a manger that doesn’t understand Uhaul policies made multiple phone calls without any resolution. This location is convenient and has potential but clearly would benefit from ethical, credible, informed and honest management. I recommend using a different uhaul location.

Nothing to improve. I met an amazing rep at the Spring Grove location. She was very professional and personable. I did say if I ever was in Cincinnati I would go back there. My experience was awesome!

1. The drop off location was changed last minute. 2. We were below miles, but still charged the same amount. 3. They had us park the vehicle "down hill" causing a slight variation in gas, which they said we then owed $13.20. 4. We only had the vehicle for less than 1 1/2 days and still charged 2 full days. If we were below mileage, we should have seen an offset of the gas, which shouldn't have even been low due to the way the vehicle was sitting, but still had to pay the $13.20. Also, they were less than cordial, and borderline rude.

I was very last minute and your U Haul office was fast and courteous. I lucked out with the Spring Grove U Haul, getting a last minute rental (on a Saturday afternoon!) when some moving help materialized for a roommate at my house. I rolled the dice and came up lucky with a truck, giving me a chance on my work break to get rid of some furniture I could not move by myself. Very grateful for U-Haul's help!

Monica was the best! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about her job and her equipment. She called us and offered to start our truck for us so it would be warm, she used a blower to get any debree left in the truck. She even gave us a brand new lock that someone else had purchase but didn't need! Our experience with this Uhaul was the best and we will definitely refer this location to everyone we know! Thank you Monica! Also, the 10 foot truck we rented was so easy to drive and maneuver and it got great gas mileage, too!

It was the third U-Haul location I responded to. The first one did not have any personnel to help me attach the trailer. The second one did not have a trailer. This one did not have any personnel on site when I first arrived and was unlocked. I called the police to make sure everything was OK. Once everything got worked out, the service was good.

I waited over 20 minutes for someone to answer the door at this location, who had only one employee working and that employee was not available to help me because they were in the warehouse somewhere. Also, I was supposed to receive a confirmation call telling me what time the equipment would be available for pickup. That call didn’t happen the evening before as promised. After going to the location closest to me that the equipment was supposed to be at, they informed me that the equipment wasn’t at that location at all, but at another location that was a 20 minute drive away (which I would have known if the call to me had of happened as promised). This whole ordeal caused me to be over a half day later starting on my trip. When I asked the manager if I could have a few extra hours to return the equipment because of the miscommunication, she said absolutely not. If I was later than 12 noon, I would be charged an extra day. FOUL I say! Not treated well at all.

The counter staff who I assume is the owner was a huge jerk and insulted me almost immediately after approaching the counter. Then said “I’ll go out there and see what you did to it” when I returned the van. I’ll never go there again. I would’ve walked out before even paying for the van if I had more time.

I called in advance to ask about renting a utility dolly. In the call, Shawn noted that he wasn't certain how to do that without a truck, but if I could give him some time, he'd figure it out. When I arrived at the location a few hours later, he confirmed that he had figured it out and was happy to rent help me out. Despite some computer glitches along the way, he remained patient and customer-focused. When a question about charges arose, he stated that he'd come in the next day (when I was returning) in order to make sure I wasn't over-charged. The computer issues seemed like difficulty in the usability of the uhaul platform. The equipment was available, easy to use, and the customer service was above average given the difficulties.

Scheduled appointment for 2. She called and said she could do 1:30. I show up but had forgot my license. She said she was leaving to go on her lunch break and would be back before 3:30. I asked her to please call me when she was there because I had work at 4. I arrive exactly at 3:30 and the store says closed and she still isn’t there. She didn’t show up until 3:45. She told me her “massage ran late.” When we get into the store she answers a phone call and explains to the customer she wasn’t there because she was on her lunch break. When in reality she was leaving the business closed while she was getting a massage. Not how you run a business.
