Angel was very understanding. My movers were late, which caused me to return the truck late. Angel said no worries, and to let him know when I returned it that night. Didn't catch the guys name that checked me in ,but he was pleasant as well. Big kudos to the staff at Stars and Stripes!

The location did not have several of the items that I had requested to rent. This was an inconvenience to me. I voiced this annoyance to the guy running the place (larger felllow, white, 50's to 60s, wearing a t shirt) and he told me that it was "U-haul's fault". I had already waited for over thirty minutes to pick up my order, but he didn't seem to like my annoyance so he told me that he would "call u-haul" so I could complain. I told him that at this point I just want the keys to the truck so I could get going with my move, which he replied with "No, unless you shut up" I was insulted by this and I told him that I had no interest in talking with U-haul and that I just wanted to get my truck and go, and then he said "we're done" insinuating he wasn't going to give me the truck. there was some back and forth, where I basically pleaded for him to please give me the truck as my entire move was based around picking up the truck. His response was I need to 'shup up" over and over again. He stormed out and I was told by a co-worker (female, brunette, brown eyes, 30's) of his that this was common behavior and that it was best if I just don't say another word. He came back in a few minutes later, seemingly a bit more collected, and asked if I'd be paying with the card on file. Eventually, he gave me the key and allowed me to go on my way. As I was walking out he provided me with an anecdote presumably to make me feel better about our exchange. Unfortunately, the anecdote made me feel more like this guy is unhinged. The story's main take away was that several people yesterday never got their rentals because they were giving him an attitude and that ultimately he has the power. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say it was the worst experience I've ever had with a rental company and possibly even the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a business of any kind.

This was an unattended location. I was not advised that I would have to check out on the app when I returned the truck.

The guy you speak with over the phone is not customer service friendly. However, the receptionist at the pickup location was very nice, and helpful. The location had no supplies as I had reserved. Furniture covers, Dollies, etc. I was told to go to another U-Haul location to see if they had supplies. I thought that was very unprofessional. I recommend this location only because of the receptionist. The customer experience with her was good.

The app is very buggy. I had to get in contact with someone to pick up the vehicle and drop it off because instructions were unclear to pick up and when I tried to drop off, the app kept making me retake pictures of the car after my payment went through, so I had to get in contact with a representative to make sure I was doing everything right.

This company charge me an additional $19 for fuel and the truck was near empty when I picked it up? I filled it past the mark when I received it. Please take pictures of everything and make them go outside with you.

Absolutely amazing experience. I even left my wallet accidentally in the uhual and the team found it and notified me to come pick it up. Awesome team.

They were rude and they harassed me and cursed me out for bringing it back a couple hours late and tried to double charge me for an extra day. I would never recommend them. They called me from multiple different numbers back to back saying they were from a recovery center and I was gonna go to jail for theft and they kept trying to charge my card for different amounts. I will never work with them again.

Firstly, for the potential customer, expect any changes and/or alterations in your confirmed location of rental, and make your reservation at most (2) weeks in advance. Check with your location's vendor for updates for any changes. Our original vendor had to forward us to another location because of truck unavailability. The new vendor, Stars & Stripes LLC were extremely helpful as our alternative U-Haul vendor and once the new paper work information documented, we were on our way locally. To it, they discounted mileage because of the distance of the new location, and were extremely on point for our moving needs that day. We salute the Stars & Stripes LLC...Thanks guys, your service to us and country is appreciated!

Angel was the greatest, courteous, kind and willing to assist me. The service there was good, and I really appreciated his sense of humor being that Uhaul had destroyed my reservation and I was in tears…Thank you Angel, you made lemonade out of all my lemons!!

The service was excellent he went over and beyond to make sure that my first time went smoothly he was extremely nice and pleasant when I arrived and at drop off I'll definitely be back to rent from this location again!!! Angel you're the best ❤️

I thought I was reserving a truck in Bluffton then I had to drive 50 minutes to this location in Savannah only to pack and drive it to Summerville. Picking the truck up in Savannah added 2 hours to our time and travel mileage. I wish they would tell you sooner than 5pm the day before if you have to travel to pick your truck up.

Open on time so that people can pick up the reservation on time. The inside of the truck and the ramp were filthy. We had to clean it before we could use it.
