Excellent customer service. They took great care to extend the best service a person could possibly receive. Will definitely be going to Stokes True Value Hardware in Anaconda, MT for any future U-Haul rental. Thanks guys. I'm a very happy customer.

MARK MNothing. Everything went smoothly. But I want to commend the Butte Mt store. I originally wanted one in Butte but they didn't have one that they could rent so the man who works there went beyond the call to help me.

HANS SThe Bozeman facility sent me to Anaconda- thank you for adding 204 extra miles to my day. When I expected my reservation in Bozeman to be picked up in Bozeman. I was given no other choice but to go to Anaconda, there wasn't any local trailers. I was on a tight schedule to leave for arizona the following day - new job start date. The area manager left me a voice mail, little rude, saying I agreed to travel to Anaconda- I had no other choice. So if people are expecting to pick up local, the trailer should be local. Hopefully I never have to use uhaul again.

John GI am so disappointed in Uhaul service as a whole. I reserved a trailer in the town I was moving from and then had to travel 50 mile round trip to get it in Anaconda then they scheduled drop off in another town when there were drop offs in the town that. I moved to. Not happy at all!!
LaMona EHave the truck available for pickup at the desired location. Had to drive 2 hrs to get it and 2 hrs back to load it.

Keith WThe return of my truck was very quick as the True Value employee just took the keys and said I was good to go, not accepting my offer to go out and check the truck with him. I should have insisted as he misread the fuel gauge and despite my refilling the gas tank to where it was when I got it, I was charged over $50 in fuel fees and surcharges. Obviously, don't cheat the next customer.

Mike CDuring pick up of a tow dolly on the afternoon of Dec. 5th, that we had reserved two days earlier, the staff member attached the trailer hitch and safety chains to the truck and told us we were ready to go. The safety chains for the vehicle that would be towed were left laying on the ground and the tire straps were not secured. We were told to leave the tire straps laying loose in the tire cradles, " that's the way they're to be transported". Additionally, the safety chains for the towed vehicle did not have the S hook rubber retainers. When asked about that we were told they weren't required. I noticed another tow dolly on the lot and asked if I could remove them for use on our tow dolly. I was told they would not come off the chains, however, I went to that unit, removed the retainers and installed them on our tow dolly at which time the staff member said "do what ever you want, we are not a maintenance facility" then left us to finish preparing the unit by ourselves. There was damage to the left fender, the tail lights were not fully illuminated, and a valve cap was missing from the right tire. Despite the troubles encountered at pick up, the tow dolly performed exactly as designed.
jamie hOverall experience was ABYSMAL. Butte could not deliver my reservation. I was required to drive out of my way to Anaconda to have my reservation fulfilled and was charged extra due to the mileage. Absolutely terrible customer service from the Butte office.

Mary KThe employees were not willing to help with anything. They just told us to do everything online ourselves. Then when checking it back in the next day, they charged us $55 for not putting enough gas in it, even though it had more gas then it did when I picked it up.
Megan BTheir connection to the Uhaul network was slow and lacking. It took a lot longer than I would have liked to get my unit dropped off. It was also a little inconvenient that I couldn't get my cash deposit back in cash when I dropped it off.
Savannah HGlenn actually helped me unload and reload the trailer. He was great. I just can't trust that your equipment has been properly checked before taking it on a trip.
