Dropped off on Sunday, no personnel working that day, won't let me select N/A in questions above.. only 5 parking spots, was more difficult to back up and drop off trailer in parking spot.

This is not a U-Haul location. This is a self-storage facility which, I assume, had an agreement with U-Haul. So instead of people who are doing a one-way drop off bringing their vehicle/trailer to U-Haul, which is only 10 minutes down the road, they send their customers to pick up units here. The young man who assisted me was very nice and there was no problem there but the truck had not been power-washed and the windshield was loaded with splattered bugs. also the "accessories" available at this location are very limited. I would have much rather picked up my vehicle down the road.

The piece of equipment I received was deemed out of service by the department of transportation and yet it was still rented out to me. In addition to that, the frame was bent and the lights did not work. The vehicle swayed violently at random. Luckily the U-Haul customer service representatives were excellent and insured I was taken care of.

Our original contract was for 8 days. Because U-haul changed the pick-up location that substantially inconvenienced us in Tucson, AZ, we were granted an extra day and 20 miles. We delivered the equipment a day early (within the 9 days as adjusted), and asked those present at the Rental Drop Off location 9297 Pocahontas to validate that we had delivered the equipment on time. We were told to simply drop off the key in the drop box and we would get an email. We did. To our surpise and dismay, we received the email from U-Haul the next day (still within the 9 day period) and were charged for an "extra" day, coverage and tax. We brought this to their attention and were told I need to bring this up with U-haul. Ugh!

I put gas in truck before dropping it off I got lost three times because the area was pitch dark there's no signs leading the right way the u-haul sign was small and no one could can't see it I had to go to the seven eleven to get help and the manager at the management team was not helpful at all all she cared about it being on empty. I had a hard time getting a truck because there's a deposit that u-haul is charging because failed to tell customers that I was held up for two hours I had helpers with me and they had to go leaving me with children helping me which took us from 12pm to pack the truck until 4pm then I had to drive to my new place in Williamsburg va which was 45 minutes and then unpacked from 6 till 8:30 so at the point I will not refer u-haul

I received a text first thing Wednesday morning telling me to take it back to your Pocahontas Trail location in Williamsburg VA. This was not one of the 3 locations recommended when we picked it up. It was the furthest out for us. I called your main location and they advised that the 3 locations lots were full and she gave me courtesy miles to get there without additional expense. We arrived at 1pm and no one was there. Sign on door indicated they should have been open. We are seniors and not so computer literate. Luckily we do have iPhones.I cant do it and my wife was stressing out about all the steps and the length of time it took us to check the truck back in. We purposely arranged our time for pick up and return so that we would have personal help with the process.it took us about 20 minutes. I called Uhaul when I got home. What do people do if you don't have a phone that can process self help? The representative I spoke to said some locations charge $20 for convenience return. Why would I pay because you have no one at the location for something that I paid rental, mileage, insurance and gas for? Expectation for truck return failed miserably. Please have a representative call me.

Someone needs to be at work. It was working hours and there was a message on the door about returning ata later time; its was More than 20 min after the displayed return time. The trailer parking does not have enough space to back in properly, particularly with a as large truck. If it was my business, do not allow large trailers at that location. Just the little ones

A few issues made this experience poor. I still rated it two stars because the truck was at least there, clean, and running fine. I used the self rent option. When I got to the step to check the odometer, it was very off. The truck odometer said something like 101,000, but the Uhaul form was showing the previous amount was only approximately 20,000. When I tried to correct it, it triggered an error, so I kept it at the wrong value and used pictures to find the correct amount of miles driven at the end of my trip. Additionally, I put gas in the truck once I was done to fill it back up to where it was before I got the truck. Still got charged $20!! It was overall pretty expensive to use for only 6 hours.... I'll find another place to rent from next time.

Renting the truck was very difficult, and returning it was more so. The customer has to take pictures of the truck inside and out and of the gas hand and mileage and Uhaul has no responsibility at all. What if the customer doesn't have a phone 路‍♀️? It's very inefficient and cumbersome for the customer. Then I was told 19,95 a day only but not all the ridiculous fees added on. I didn't get receipt in that whole do it yourself process and Uhaul having nothing to do.
