The 24/7 pick up/drop off procedure was a nightmare. Once the vehicle was rented it still took over an hour on the phone with customer service while standing at the location figuring out how to get the keys.
Matthew Bthe location I booked the truck for was not able to fulfill my reservation and sent me to a different location. At this location the person had problems locating my reservation and completing the check out and check in process. Please update your computer system.

ALFREDO ABefore I go into this locations poor performance, the U-Haul app and scheduling service was terrible to use. I booked for this location originally and your system booked for another location clear across town. All of this would make sense if Westmoor didn't have the truck I needed, but they had two when I showed up. Seems kinda fishy since you guys charge per mile… About Westmoor Kim is an awful rep for your company. When I arrived she was in the middle of arguing with another customer about his payment that I had to witness for 15 minuets until he left. I get checked in and say I may need the truck till Sunday and she says well here's the phone number let me know if you come back sooner and there won't be a charge for Sunday. I hurry to get it all done and back on Saturday called the number to let her know I got it back early plus I had forgot my garage door opener in it. Monday I get a call from the other store it wise location because she gave me that number not the one for westmoor. He was very nice and said he would call her for me and relay my message. About half the day goes on I've heard nothing from Kim, I call her from the phone number on Google and she's acting like she has no idea what I'm talking about and hasn't heard anything about the opener still being in the truck. Then she tells me that the truck has gone out again, which also means that she doesn't bother to go through them between each use. I ask her if the other store called her to let her know about this and she says "yes but I didn't have time to go get it". Thankfully the truck was in town, but I had to tell Kim to call the current renters to make sure they just left it in the truck so I can get it the next morning. During this wait time I get my bill to see I've been charged for Sunday. Role around to Tuesday morning I call when the store opens, no answer, leave a voicemail. Waited 20 minutes never a call back, I call there again and thankfully I did because she had forgotten about it again. I leave work to go grab it and when I get there she tells me it's still in the truck and "here's the keys if you want go find it". I come back after grabbing it to get my bill corrected she proceeds to tell me that it's U-Haul's fault and that I have to pay for Sunday because she can't get it removed. By far the worst experience I've ever had renting a truck from you guys. Kim's inability to handle her job is astonishing for how easy it is.

I can NOT say the same for my experience with the call center handling my reservation and the follow through in getting my equipment was absolutely LOUSY. I made my reservation a full week prior to my pickup date. The person handling my reservation was polite and helpful, but my phone number that I gave, and have used many times before to rent vehicles, was entered incorrectly by the representative when I made the reservation. I called the morning of the pickup to inform them that I would be 1,5 hours later than I expected to arrive at the location of pickup and was told it would not be a problem and moved the pickup to the new time. In our conversation she failed to tell me that the pickup location had been changed. Not knowing, and receiving no contact via text , because my number was incorrectly entered by the original reservation agent, I went to the address in the reservation. Only after arriving did I see a very late delivery of an email 10 minutes AFTER the original pickup time informing me of this change. The location was moved to a distant one over 30 miles away , 60 in total to return to the site of my move. Moreover, it was stated to me that the reservationist entered a note indicating this new distant location was actually "my prefered location" which is in COMPLETE error as I never would have asked to pickup at that location. Finally, the attendant at the desk at the College Avenue original location was just short of rude, not at all interested in helping me, simply walked off. This entire experience was completely unacceptable and poor service creating close to a 2 hour delay in my move. Extremely dissatisfied.
WILLIAM BSelf checkout was a "0" . Pickup time 6am. The app wouldn't allow me to checkout. Call center couldn't help resolve the issue. 7:30 am Kim opened the business and had me checked out in a few minutes. I would highly recommend Kim as the employee of the week, month and year. Thanks Kim!!

Lorene GThe 12 foot trailer is very heavy for average people to lift onto hitch. Someone will get hurt, customers and employees. When I picked up trailer I had to move by hand a utility and a 5X8 to get at the 6X12. All parked in parallel. Kim helped but it's a big ask for anyone

Greg AGet rid of that stupid app. It took me over 40 minutes to pick up and drop off the truck because your app kept staring over at the beginning. I would get to a part then it would jump back to the sign in. Worst experience ever. I am NEVER using u haul or their app ever again

Tom AI will not be returning to this location to rent a truck. They were not helpful at all- most people probably don't rent a truck often and they assumed things that aren't commonly known. I had submitted paperwork to rent the truck and talked to someone on the phone to be tax exempt and they had already charged the card and couldn't reverse it. There was not a sense of apology or any effort to correct it. I expect good customer service from a customer service person. This was extremely frustrating process and I am annoyed that I even have to spend time writing this review.

I had a neighbor who rented a U-Haul online from a downtown Greeley CO. location on Saturday and he mentioned to me it was a little difficult. I explained my experience with Kim and my rental and he said, "I should have used that location, but I was directed to the downtown Greeley one."

Shannon GI reserved a trailer to a specific location at that request was not met. I recieved a phone call from a completely different uhaul location and was told my apt time was being pushed back. The person who runs the location I was sent to was on vacation so I had to wait for an employee from a different location. I decided to get a storage unit there despite the headache, all to find water damage inside the unit and my 10×10 unit had a tiny hallway and small door when I asked for a drive up. I am requesting a refund of the storage unit. Also at my return time that was 2 hours earlier then I had requested there were no employees at store it wise and the app nor browser would allow me to check me out and I got to spend 2.hrs 'm a long time Uhaul customer and this last reservation did NOT live up to normal expectations a customer has for Uhaul. Store it wise is a joke!
Keith GThe process of checking out a vehicle is very confusing and the app is very glitchy. It glitched right when I was at the part where I get the code for the lockbox and it registered in the system that I got the keys but I didn't. It took over an hour to reach a human on the customer service line to then read me the code. I will probably never use the online system again.

Akia MDropped off trailer during store hours, there was a sign on the door stating a family emergency, called the number, told us to leave the trailer. Two days after dropping it off, got a text asking what time we are gonna drop off the trailer, contactsd uhaul and they informed me that it had not been checked in, they called the location, call the area manager, no answer. She called the number that we had called and spoke to them and was informed that he was just covering and actually didn't work at that location. Lack of communication and lack of parking makes it a location I would not recommend.

Zachary BAfter driving across country I arrived at the designated drop sight and was told I had to go find a different location. I expected the drop location to take care of transferring to a location with available space rather than putting it back on the customer to accommodate the poor planning. Customer focus in general does not seem to be a priority.

Cindy OThe 800 Uhaul number saved me. Apparently my reservation was set for in office, but closed on Labor Day. The folks at the 800 number changed it over to 24/7 and worked me through the process. They were great.
tom jEverything went fine and the equipment was just what I needed to tow a broken truck home. A little bit of trouble getting out of the storage area due to some miscommunication and just general busyness but would certainly recommend this location.

Leighann KWe had to download an app to get the truck at 4:45 on a Saturday. The code the app sent didn't work. The "help line" is staffed remotely and the person who was helping had a screaming child in the background. We had to verify our info again (three total times) and it took 30-40 minutes before it could be done. It was a hassle. No customer service skills.
SHANE FI booked the appointment in advance and got a phone call an hour before my appointment telling me they were going to close early (10am on a Saturday in a college town during moving season.... really smart business acumen). She asked if I could come in early, so I did, left my house immediately getting there half an hour before the appointment and 15 minutes before she said she was leaving. I arrive to find an empty building, another group of potential customers all gathered in the parking lot wondering how they were supposed to pick up their rentals as well. She left my keys there in the lockbox thankfully, but under the code LATE. So I make it to the establishment outside of my appointment, before she said they would close, and then I'm still left to download the app and rent the vehicle on my own anyway. I should have gone down the street to the other business location ran by different people like the other customer did. They came back and got their box truck faster with the representative from the different location faster than I was able to download the app, create an account, take a boat load of pictures and check myself out and back in. Overall, I'll not be using uhaul in the future if it can be avoided. What a joke, absolute nightmare. The fact I did all the check out and check in work myself without consenting to it previously and wasn't offered any sort of inconvenience fee waiver or discount is just appalling. I can't stress how disappointed and frustrating the whole process was. If you can, just rent from Home Depot instead and save yourself the headache.
