Although the truck wasn't dirty with garbage it hasn't been vacuumed or properly cleaned in a while. In covid times this was below expectations. It also had a smokers smell indicating previous rentals have smoked in the unit and is unappealing to a non smoker. Outside of this the process was easy and stroudtech was helpful when I called with a questionKen D.
The guy tried to scam me. Asked me if I wanted insurance and I said no and he still put it on my bill. When I returned the trailer I asked him why that was on the bill when I already said I didn't want it and he said he would remove it for the payment. Payment was taken from my credit card today and the insurance charge is still in the payment.PETAR C.
Wonderful experience. The Uhaul guy in Stroud on Yonge street was a champ. Easy pickup, no hassle return. I paid 128 $all-in to rent a 6x12 trailer for 3 days. Just awesome all around. Thanks again.JEFFREYA H.

The guy at this location was very rude. We arrived to pick up our rental truck and he complained that it is his lunch time and we would have to come back in an hour when he's finished eating. After arguing with him he processed us before his lunchJohn D.

My original pick up location was local. It was changed to the Innisfil address on Innisfil Beach Rd., one hr away. When I arrived there was no trailer. I had to drive to above location 20 mins away. The trailer had not been well inspected as a broken door hinge was discovered at the house. The attendant at Stroudtech was pleasant enough but not really engaged.Ken M.

Does not let you know that if you go over the km you will be charged above and beyond. 600 $total bill for a day rental. Absolute bs. Not notified of How many km I can go. Not the guys fault running the business.. Will never use U-Haul again. Customer service is a complete joke. Told me tough luck, pay the bill. His name was John mazeral. The rental was a circus. I live 5 minutes from the Uhaul dealer at 62 Commerce Park Drive which is where my reservation was supposed to be picked up. When I arrived there was another customer leaving with the trailer I had rented. The person at the desk stated that this person needed a trailer for an emergency and I would have to drive 15 minutes to another location to pick up the trailer. When I arrived there was no one working at the Yonge Street location. I am 60 years old and I could not lift the trailer with my back issue. Fotunately there was another older gentleman who arrived for a similar trailer and we helped each other to hook up. About 2 hours after I picked up the trailer I received a mail to complete regarding the condition of the trailer. It would not open. I had to call customer service and tell them the trailer was in good condition and returned in same condition. I received an invoice today with an 8 $insurance which I did not request. I felt bad for the guy who was in the office. Mistakes were made and trucks weren't where they were supposed to be. He got the brunt of someone else's guarantee that didn't work. I rented a car hauler trailer to bring my car home. There was a taillight missing. It pulled fine when it was empty and lightweight but found on my way home loaded, the trailer had no brakes at al. That particular trailer was pretty long in the tooth. Time for some attention.Michael T.
Had a trailer booked at a different location and wasn't available upon pick up. Sent me to this location which was 30 min from my house... customer service at both locations was subpar. Employee at the innisfil location seamed very annoyed he had to do anything when I showed up... hardly the service I receive from the essa locationPAULAC N.
Store wasn't open when I came to pick up the trailer, had to wait 45 minutes, Trailer was pretty beat up but I could look past all of that if mechanically it was in good shape but once I had picked up a car I realized the brakes were not working on the trailer!! It would bang loudly on acceleration and deceleration like the brake mechanism was working but there was no brakes Plus one of the tires was completely bald. Brutal!Anthony B.

my pick up location was changed on me 3 times in 24 hrs, from 2pm to 4pm. I was told they close at 4:30 so I had to rush to get it as i had made arangements for 2 pm and had to rearrage my day. Then I was told it had to be back before 8:30 am as it was needed for another booking. I was lucky that the shop stayed open till i got there as they have a gated lot and Do not open till 9am. The 2 people I talk to on the phone were nothing but rude and very uncooperative about everything. The service has gone into the trash with alot of your locations. trailers are not maintained, dirty, missing parts. I cant believe you let some of these locations stay open, its a huge dump and the operators dont care.KRYSTAL R.
Dealer provided no paperwork at all. Rodgers system was down during checkout. 600 $was misplaced and I didn't get a bill for over 2 weeks after returning the truck. Had to call corporate to have final bill corrected. No call at all from the area manager John M. This is not the first time.Scott C.

Location is disgusting, can't even walk in as they have computers and junk everywhere all over the floor. The truck was not cleaned inside or out, like filthy dirty on the inside even a plastic dirty fork left in the cup holder like they didn't even look in it and pick up the garbage in between uses. Employee was 30 minutes late. Shop was covered in computer parts and a mess. Was sent to the wrong truck and inspected the wrong truck on the app. Finally got to my truck which was in worse condition and had garbage inside. Had to inspect again. Uhaul has usually been great. This particular place isn't. I felt ripped off. Even though I did manage to rent a truck.Joshua L.

My contract stated that I could pick up my rental at 9 am no one showed up to opne till 9:45 am so I automaticallylost 45 minutesof my rental! The cost for a car hauler is 54,95 for 24 hours, however they charged me 54,95 for 6 hours 9 am till 3 pm! So instead of a 24 hour rental I only got a 6 hour rental for the same fee! What a scam! Originally was hoping for a pickup near Sutton, On. Got notice two days before our 15' truck would be available in Inisfil. Luckily able to pick it up one day before move at no extra charge. Lucky because we wanted to start our moving day at 7 a.m. and Tillsonburg was our destination.Kevin K.

The initial time for pick up was 1130 and they changed it last minute to 1:45pm, when I went to pick it up the truck was late 30 minutes. This was very inconvenient for me because I had 2 movers that I paid 50 $an hour so I wasted my time and my movers time having to pay them to wait around until I got my truck. This is the worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul and it will probably be the last time I use your services.David R.

Stroudtech was fine, but originally I picked another location and this one was updated twice including a time change....the owner was good and explained there were delays with another customer. However it would have been nice if I could have dropped the trailer off at the original location. Also, there ended up being a mechanical issue with the trailer where the break was set to tight....iain P.

When we are told to put the key in the drop off box, I think it only makes sence to provide us with a box that the key will actually fit into, and not try to charge us an extra 50 $because we made sure the key was safe by locking it inside the truck. I think that is it absurd for anybody to expect me to put a key through a slot that is smaller than the key. we had toys like this as children to teach us that this is not how things work.if preschool children can come to understand those terms, I don't see why full grown adults can't. I do not expect to be charged an extra 50 $for some tow truck to open up truck that there should be a spare key for. if you guys think for a second you're going to get away with charging me an extra 50 $for making sure your key is safe you are in for a bumpy ride with me.MICHAELA S.
