Tight parking. Attempted to park out of the way.
Gregory K.The tires were low on tread. I suppose it's my fault for not insisting on new tires. I had to call for road side service halfway through my trip because they were bald. Also I was not offered moving helpers. I only heard about them when I called to extend my contract. I am an old lady with a 2800 mile trip traveling solo. The trailer was clean.

When concern was expressed, I was instructed to drive 1 hour to another facility for a tire replacement. Improvement needed; DON'T SEND OUT DIRTY EQUIPMENT IN DISREPAIR.
david L.The drop off directions in the pamphlet direct customers to U-Haul.com to return equipment after hours. The site would not work after step 3. We searched for an app, and that was much faster and efficient. Your informational pamphlet should be updated.

charles K.Turning in my truck on an icy winter's day was tricky, especially with a very steeply graded hill right outside my new home. The UHaul agent in Jay at Sunshine Pools was so helpful, giving us an extra day to get there. Fortunately, the ice melted enough for us to take another try at it later in the day, and it all worked great. It was a smooth process, start to finish. :)

Not only did this delay our trip, but it was inconvenient. U-Haul needs to do a better job communicating with its customers in advance of their rental date.

HECTOR T.On line pickup process VERY difficult. Didn't use mobile return for fear of difficulty. Location staff very helpful. Our vehicle was blocked in at location by a returned truck so waited for help as it was a holiday and location was closed. Waited on hold with uhaul 32 minutes while I had a crew waiting at my home to load truck. Total pickup process took 90 minutes and it was only 10 minutes from my house. Very frustrating! Returned truck 14 hours early from my 48 hour rental period for fear of difficult return mobile process on a Sunday.

Barbara T.None of the equipment I ordered was in the truck at the time of pickup, and there was no one around to help obtain said equipment. I also needed to pickup a vehicle in Rumford, ME, but had to drive all the way to Jay, ME to get the truck which put unnecessary miles on my vehicle and costing me $50 more than intended in mileage fees and fueling up the truck.

This was the third uhaul I've rented in the past two months and it was truly an awful experience. Spent over an hour on the phone and 25 mins on chat. Not good!!
