JOSEPHINE CThis dealer, Tony's Transportation, charged me an extra day of rental even though I had arrived at this dropoff site with ample time to spare. The site claims it is open on Sundays on the U-Haul website. No one was at the site when I arrived, and I had to hunt for the owner. I then had an extensive wait before he arrived. He then had the nerve to tack on an additional 90 minutes to my dropoff time in order to charge me an additional rental day. I will file a formal complaint with the State if this is not quickly resolved. Furthermore, the place is a dump and is not a good reflection of U-Haul.

kevin sStop lying to people about the rates I was ripped off at the Ringwood nj location lied to me telling me that the truck would cost $39,98 and that it would be $1,99 per mile well that part was correct.The location charged me each day I had the truck which was a lie from the start when Clearly I was told $39,98 for 3 days.

PHIL WGreat experience. Appreciate the van being pulled up and easy to see. Keys were exactly where described. Condition of the van was great, good features like easy-to-use Bluetooth, rear backup camera, front seat cage protection, even a couple of blankets left behind (though we did not need them). One minor suggestion - clean the interior windshield between each rental. I stopped home before starting my trip because with sun glare and smoggy/cloudy windows it was even worse. What a difference a clean interior windshield makes! I also kept getting a "low washer fluid" warning, I tried adding wiper fluid and added at least 8 ounces of fluid, but the light still came on.

Mary MHaving rented both cars and trucks from many places over the years, I can easily say that my experience renting from Tony is by the far best. Tony is easy to reach, easy to work with, and there to make sure you have a great experience. Both pickup and drop off were smooth and I really appreciated Tony's flexibility around the timing of both. Tony made today's move a lot less stressful than it otherwise would have been. The truck itself was clean and well maintained and had the appropriate level of fuel. I would certainly rent from Tony again.
Ryan KNot sure whom this would fall upon, but the vehicle when picked up should be on at least half-tank FULL, NOT 1/4 tank full. Especially a Truck Rental. Otherwise, Tony's location and Tony himself is an OUTSTANDING Character and businessman whom cares extremely about his customers. He wants to deliver an excellent experience upfront for his clients and he's very involved making sure everything meets your expectations upon delivery of the Trailer / Truck.

Joshua MInitially I called the Locations personnel number I had let the location reserve me a truck since they didn't have the truck i needed, well Tuesday morning I found out where I was expected to pick up the truck rented for me it was clearly to far especially because I was expecting a 10 hour use time and with extra mileage and traffic it would not be possible to adhere to the 10 hour limit. This would have added 4 hours to my day, I was told it was 9 miles from my location, of course if I was flying in a straight line there but driving would be 25 to 35 miles one way and in morning rush our traffic, so I called U-haul and they were able to reschedule for another day and for my convenience of location. Well done
