My original drop-off location was 8 Countryside Lane. That location was abandoned. It is no longer in service. I tried calling U-Haul and waited 15 minutes on the phone but never got a Rep. So I had to find an alternate location. Then after wasting my time and extra driving to the new location, I was charged for 2 gallons of gas. Very poor experience.John H.

From the time Tony answered the phone it was a great experience. I posted a detailed review on Google about my Uhaul experience. The place in West Milford that is a paint ball, bait shop and garbage dump inside was HORRIBLE! Disgusting, dirty, smelled so nasty I gagged when I walked in and the lady behind the counter acted like we were interrupting her solitaire game. Back to the great experience with Tony. He confirmed the truck would be there even after I got a call from another location telling me my reservation with Tony was cancelled and I would have to drive 45 minutes to pick up a truck from him! I called Tony and he said he has my truck and it will be there for me when I needed to pick it up on Saturday morning. I got there Saturday am and the truck was there, cleaned, filled with gas, ready to go. I will use this location again if needed and tell people I know to go to him! Thanks Tony for helping our stressful move not be as bad as we thought it would be!Mark C.

Make sure that there's a truck/van available to your customers in a locations that they select instead of 20 min. out of their way. This is for U-Haul. Not the people who run the garage we picked the truck up from.Delia F.
Windshield was dirty which wasn't great and airbag light was on the whole time. Also only got 10 blankets and wanted 24. But the location was great and Tony was in touch by phone to make sure he pickup was easy and the return was easy too.Armand D.

The van smelled so horribly like horse poop....had to continuously spray febreeze to make it bearable. It was clean but the smell was so offensive my daughter and I had to drive with the windows open. Other than that the experience was okayLisa H.

My credit card was charged an additional $21 and the receipt showed drop off time 24 hours after equipment was returned to this location. The equipment was used for approximately 4 hours; picked up and dropped off on same day. No explanation for additional charge.Michael B.
Truck was old and the front end was very loose. On the highway you had to fight the wheel to stay on the road. The clerk just shook his head when I complained.Alan B.
I was abit annoyed because the location I was supposed to p/u at did not have truck available and needed to drive 1/2 hour longer to a different location. Truck on empty. Filled up. Spent way to much because of unforeseen charges. Just paid because wasn't able to reach anyone to question.Kenneth F.

Could not find keys for first vehicle and 2and vehicle had check engine light on. Nothing like driving 250 miles and hoping it is nothing serious like the Uhaul rep stated on pickupSCOTT G.
It was a bad experience. I had to call uhaul like 6 or 7 times to make sure I wasn't charged a late payment for dropping off at this different location. I had to text the boss the person who checked me in because he incorrectly read the gas and forgot the dolly which I still ended up paying in the end because of â€œrental costsâ€. I had to argue with the person I dropped the truck off with to do the paperwork bc he wasn't assigned to be the drop off. He told me to pick up the truck from him and drop it off at the original drop off which is an hour half away. I had to go back and forth with him negotiating the closing of the contract. He was taking everything personally and told me that he gave me a ride somewhere so everything was ok. It was just a lot and I didn't expect all of it. I was overcharged by $10 which is fine but didn't have to be that way.Alex B.
