Within a yr my storage rent went from 135 to 210. There was very little lighting outside that made it scary to go there after dark. The people running it moved their office and it's nowhere near the facility. I was not happy with the constant increase every couple of months so I decided to pull my things out and look elsewhere. I would not recommend this facility to anyone that I know based on my experience. My no on staff helpful is there was noone ever there.

Please include the equipment rented and paid for next time…we had an injury moving because they forgot the dolly and everything else we selected. Also make sure someone is there on pick up days to address these issues?

Price increases were steep and happened too often. Went from $100 to $170 in less than 6 months.

I had walk to find this place because they moved. On contract they still had old address to drop it off.

The inside of the truck had old lunchables and empty drink bottles and the tire pressure light was on. It also took us forever to actually check in to get the truck

Dominique was not at the location so I had to call. She said to park everything and leave the keys in the drop box and she’d check me in when she got there in an hour. The next day she still hadn’t checked my rentals in and it was getting close to the time so I had to call again. Whilst she ended up checking me in on time, it was stressful to know that everything was still checked out to me even though I turned everything in 24 hours early so I wouldn’t incur any extra fees.

Truck was on empty and still had furniture in the back from a previous rental. Apparently they don’t check on returns at all at this location. Luckily the area manager for U-Haul helped get me in another truck within an hour

The Office Manager Dominique is very professional, always so polite and kind, beautiful human being... god blessed her!...the minute she welcomes you is like an angel is there to help. The only reason I am giving this place a 5 star is because of her. The place does not have a restroom facility.

Paula, the manager, was extremely helpful and professional. The facility was easily accessible and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this storage facility to anyone.

I rented a uhaul and when I got to my location it was full of roaches! This was the nastiest dirtiest truck I've ever rented. I didn't even get a refund! And now I may have a roach problem. I refuse to bring the things hauled in this truck in my home. Just despicable.

Check ride vehicles before renting

My choice for the drop off location in Sumter SC, was the ideal choice for me location wise. When making my reservation for drop off, U-Haul reps kept scheduling me for out of area locations more than 1 hr drives in opposite directions. There were several drop off locations in my requested areas but either U-Haul does not have record of ALL of their facilities or the service representatives were just not knowledgeable enough to research the desired areas. And might I add the road side assistance agency representatives were gracious for the most part, but the contracting companies and dispatchers are another story. Coming thru Saskatchewan Ca. The dispatch person for road side assistance that U-Haul connected with was a totally rude, disrespectful abrupt, miserably unpleasant and obviously lonely soul whose at the least job professional should be customer service. SHE had no customer skills at all, displayed no empathy, concern, nor interest in the distress that was at the moment taking place. Shame on her… karma is real!

We ran over like 2days but did put a cash payment down for that reason so overage could be taken. Paid what we owed but the calls and texts and voicemails were so aggravating from owner it would make me not want to rent here again
