Richard EcklerThe truck was moldy inside the driver cabin and when loading there was also a moldy smell. The man that was outside verified that the truck had a smell in which he sprayed the truck with. The check out process was not efficient as it stated that I returned the vehicle after 8am the following day when in all actuality it was returned at midnight. Prior to my scheduled time of 2/13 at 7:30 am. I also was charged for an extra day. I contacted Uhaul this morning and spoke with someone and now nothing can be done until the GM comes in. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. Highly unsatisfied. Do better Uhaul! I have encouraged so many to use this location and they have on numerous occassions but not anymore.
Natalie JonesSomething that U-Haul could offer to rent: We in the plant nursery industry already have heavy duty rolling shelving racks that have shelves with built in or hinged sides. How nice it would be to load one up with boxes and loose items near the house/shed and then roll it into the truck and ratchet strap it to the truck. Then reverse the process. They could be sold as well to folks storing their items in storage services. None of the rental spaces come with shelving, especially ones that make it easy to transfer small items into and out of the facility. Michael HaireI feel that it was unfair for me to have to pay for a one-way you call when I ordered my U-Haul from the one that was closest to my house and I wanted to return it to that location but instead my reservations was changed and I had to pick it up on Normandy instead of Edgewood I was overcharged the quote was for $51 but that's not including the insurance that I had to purchase so I knew that price would be more than the $51 I was not expecting to have to pay $162 in which I was told that that was on hold

Gerald brownThis location always appears to be understaffed. So plan to wait if you have not made a reservation for self service or need further assistance. Two of my biggest issues 1) make the check out/check in scan bar code more visible 2) trucks have higher mileage than most other places I have rented a U-Haul from. I will add that although there is oftentimes a wait time of more than 10 minutes (in my many experiences at this location) once you get to customer service you will find they are very professional and courteous. I prefer self check out/check in, however that isn't always an easy process if not familiar with the location.

But when I got to my destination I got a call from a certain location stating that I need to return the truck to that location and if not I would be charged extra money if I return it to another location. I told them that I was told I can return it anywhere she said that's not so and I needed to read my contract. I was very disappointed in the way I was treated and it costed me more money to return it 15 miles away from a closer uhaul.

Everything was loose..I had to call in roadside and it took 3hrs to get back on the road...this was extremely unacceptable!!! I could have hurt somebody plus I was told bye the black guy that put my car on the tow dolly at this location to put my emergency brakes on while I traveled and I was told that's not correct..I could have locked up my tires and now my steering wheel want lock anymore

Nothing. The staff is nice but you can tell they're very overworked and over stretched with too few of them. One person behind the counter when I came looking for info and was getting ready to clock out when I came because they already had 10+ hours. You run skeleton crews, a practice uhaul has always done. There's a lot of homeless people with free range around the property. They use the bathroom to clean themselves. Simply put, my stuff is not safe with uhaul so I moved it out and am now at Extra Storage Space where they have employees, security and run a tighter operation. On top of the frustrating level of poor operations, Uhaul has the audacity to raise prices on their storage units that are all busted up now. I will never use this company again. I intended to start a Reddit grievance thread about uhaul experiences and grow it because it seems like there's plenty of them and would love for others to know what they're getting into before they choose.

He or she always carried themselves as a professional, and I appreciated that, but I felt bad for them because they were overwhelmed with different jobs to do besides helping at the front when it was a long line. We currently have a storage on Pearl St; and have never seen a bug. ( very clean. ). We used your service for the truck because, we moved from a few blocks from you all. ( close to the apartment we were packing our items. I will close with saying you all have good , well trained workers. He stated that there have been break ins since July and the site never contacted anyone to check on their units. My lock which I bought directly from Uhaul same location was damaged/tampered with and the customer service person would not even help me. When she called the GM Mike Pena he stated there was nothing that he could or would do and that I should just call a locksmith. Which I did at a cost to me of almost $200. It is filthy. Restroom had no soap and the garbage can was over flowing. The rudeness of the employees that work at the storage unit is beyond unacceptable. I cannot express enough how disappointed I am in this facility. At this point I am wholeheartedly advertising against any of my military friends and family who are moving to the area to store any belongings at this Normandy Boulevard, FL site or to use this location. However after we went through the very difficult emotional and physical process of the break-in that occurred in early July (our unit and at least a handful of others) I would not recommend this facility to others and would hope that sooner rather than later, security and ease of access is upgraded and taken more seriously. We endured financial loss and emotional stress, however again, the staff was very helpful and sympathetic through the entire ordeal, and even before that when we never had any issues.

Last time it was the third party movers that called to say they were on the way and ultimately never showed up. This time? I reserve a 10x30 storage unit for my family's belongings and since y'all use two websites or whatever the worker said, they had no record of this. It was Sunday. All other storage units nearby were closed because it was Sunday. I had to scramble to find a place for my stuff. Uhaul was so kind to offer me a unit 45 minutes away at a cost of free for a month. Thanks. That was included in my one way rental. Also they guy said for $125 cash per hour he'd unload it. Never again.

You have no business offering storage if you can't keep criminals from simply climbing over the walls to do as they want with other people's belongings.

Terrible customer service from the majority of previous employees, especially the managers for the past 15+ years. These employees have been consistently EXCELLENT: Kaitlyn Lucontro, Mike Henson, Jarod Floyd, Beth and I can't remember his name, tall, clean shaven, short hair, Caucasian man, I think in his 40s. The number of carts has been decreasing in the past several years from 7 or 8 down to 3. In the last few years, the restroom has very often been out of paper products or out of order.

I have a problem with this facilities rules of no receipt of payments of monies paid in advance and the contract is cancelled 2 weeks before the end of the month. It's like being robbed having to pay for services not rendered. It upset me greatly. I am going to another Uhaul in another state and they would not even give me my money to credit them. They caused me stress. They should send me a check for the residual monies.
