Picked up a truck from this uhaul and we were making changes to the reservation from 4 days to 2 days and also changing the location of the drop off, This rep here did none of those things which possibly costed more money since we didnt need it for 4 days and only needed it for 2. I personally handed her a paper with the changes and she did none of them. Very unfortunate and we were told at the drop off location that their was nothing they can do for us.

Upon arrival and checking in I asked one of the guys where the truck was located he told me I was on my own I explained I already checked in I just needed help locating the truck he pointed me to the wrong truck after walking around the truck a few times he came and pointed me to the correct truck. Upon checking out it said I would be charged 104 I looked at my account I was charged 182

When I reserved the truck I was asked for a credit card just to hold & I told the girl I will be paying w/ cash & not to charge my card & she did anyway & then I was charged a full day because I returned it 2 hours late & had to take all these pictures B4 I could even return..RIDICULOUS... The truck was moldy inside the driver cabin and when loading there was also a moldy smell. The man that was outside verified that the truck had a smell in which he sprayed the truck with. The check out process was not efficient as it stated that I returned the vehicle after 8am the following day when in all actuality it was returned at midnight. Prior to my scheduled time of 2/13 at 7:30 am. I also was charged for an extra day. I contacted Uhaul this morning and spoke with someone and now nothing can be done until the GM comes in. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. Highly unsatisfied. Do better Uhaul! I have encouraged so many to use this location and they have on numerous occassions but not anymore.

Something that U-Haul could offer to rent: We in the plant nursery industry already have heavy duty rolling shelving racks that have shelves with built in or hinged sides. How nice it would be to load one up with boxes and loose items near the house/shed and then roll it into the truck and ratchet strap it to the truck. Then reverse the process. They could be sold as well to folks storing their items in storage services. None of the rental spaces come with shelving, especially ones that make it easy to transfer small items into and out of the facility. I feel that it was unfair for me to have to pay for a one-way you call when I ordered my U-Haul from the one that was closest to my house and I wanted to return it to that location but instead my reservations was changed and I had to pick it up on Normandy instead of Edgewood I was overcharged the quote was for $51 but that's not including the insurance that I had to purchase so I knew that price would be more than the $51 I was not expecting to have to pay $162 in which I was told that that was on hold

This location always appears to be understaffed. So plan to wait if you have not made a reservation for self service or need further assistance. Two of my biggest issues 1) make the check out/check in scan bar code more visible 2) trucks have higher mileage than most other places I have rented a U-Haul from. I will add that although there is oftentimes a wait time of more than 10 minutes (in my many experiences at this location) once you get to customer service you will find they are very professional and courteous. I prefer self check out/check in, however that isn't always an easy process if not familiar with the location.

I have always used the other U-Haul on Normandy and I accidentally reserved a truck at this 1. I will never go back to the other 1 again, the staff here treated me so much better. They were very welcoming and professional and polite. The other U-Haul always treats me like I’m a criminal, but not at this one it’s like night and day.

97 storage units broken into and not even a single email from corporate on the situation, what they intend to do to install confidence that my property is safe. Nothing. The staff is nice but you can tell they're very overworked and over stretched with too few of them. One person behind the counter when I came looking for info and was getting ready to clock out when I came because they already had 10+ hours. You run skeleton crews, a practice uhaul has always done. There's a lot of homeless people with free range around the property. They use the bathroom to clean themselves. Simply put, my stuff is not safe with uhaul so I moved it out and am now at Extra Storage Space where they have employees, security and run a tighter operation. On top of the frustrating level of poor operations, Uhaul has the audacity to raise prices on their storage units that are all busted up now. I will never use this company again. I intended to start a Reddit grievance thread about uhaul experiences and grow it because it seems like there's plenty of them and would love for others to know what they're getting into before they choose.

Friendly staff and helpful, however! There were roaches in the storage area. I do not have roaches at home. We sprayed 1 time, and still had a couple of them running around, but better than a couple of days before. Also, we rented at least 6 times ( truck ) within 2 weeks, and always had such a long wait because there were only one staff member working the the desk most of the time. He or she always carried themselves as a professional, and I appreciated that, but I felt bad for them because they were overwhelmed with different jobs to do besides helping at the front when it was a long line. We currently have a storage on Pearl St; and have never seen a bug. ( very clean. ). We used your service for the truck because, we moved from a few blocks from you all. ( close to the apartment we were packing our items. I will close with saying you all have good , well trained workers. Please treat them like you appreciate them by hiring more help to give to your customers whom keep your business going. Thank you kindly.

I don't remember the young lady names that helped me when I got there in the morning but she was beyond helpful and great.

I had two break ins, in my unit last year. Someone climbed my unit and messed with my stuff. The old manager did nothing. I was told I was one of numerous people complaining about break ins. I Was told it was up to me to file a police report and file a claim. I would never leave my belongings here again.

I would have given you an excellent but when I tried to e yet the building after 7pm for the my first time my code failed. Fortunately the young lady that had helped me with the rental was still there and went above off hours protocol and got me sorted out. After that was done we no further issues.

My stuff was always secure and I felt safe when I was there alone. However , getting help from anyone front desk is impossible. The phones ring constantly with no answer , they don't know what they are doing half the time and that's if you even get anyone to come in and help you in the office. I have had only one person be helpful and really nice to me there and I can't remember the gentleman's name. If I did I would give him more praise because he was always helpful and wonderful. I like the unit but parking is terrible and customer service is no existent.

Never use this place my unit was broken in months ago during a string of uhaul break ins and noone event let me know to check my unit… come to find out on the day my new house is finished and we go to get our stuff I lost close to 100 000 dollars in items… guitars, jewelry, watches, purses, collectibles all gone… I ran and told the manager who responded that sucks for you just call the police and walked away… this place is a joke and will be getting contacted by my lawyer you better believe a clash action suit is on the way cause I was only one of what I’m told more than two dozen reports of theft have been made.

The building is not secure as a matter fact the sherriff was on sitedue due to units being ransacked and items being stolen. He stated that there have been break ins since July and the site never contacted anyone to check on their units. My lock which I bought directly from Uhaul same location was damaged/tampered with and the customer service person would not even help me. When she called the GM Mike Pena he stated there was nothing that he could or would do and that I should just call a locksmith. Which I did at a cost to me of almost $200. It is filthy. Restroom had no soap and the garbage can was over flowing. The rudeness of the employees that work at the storage unit is beyond unacceptable. I cannot express enough how disappointed I am in this facility. At this point I am wholeheartedly advertising against any of my military friends and family who are moving to the area to store any belongings at this Normandy Boulevard, FL site or to use this location. I found using this storage facility very convenient especially the reminders and being able to make payments online. I would use U-Haul storage again if needed in the future.

Fairly busy place, however, the employees were diligent and professional. Manager on site, Michael, was not very helpful or professional. Having spoken to him 3 times, sent him images as requested, and been placed on hold for over 30 minutes twice, I gave up attempting to close my unit and notified my bank. Service, value, and store associates were solid, but the fallout at the end will have me exploring alternatives next time I need storage.

Kaitlyn and staff have always been very friendly and helpful. However after we went through the very difficult emotional and physical process of the break-in that occurred in early July (our unit and at least a handful of others) I would not recommend this facility to others and would hope that sooner rather than later, security and ease of access is upgraded and taken more seriously. We endured financial loss and emotional stress, however again, the staff was very helpful and sympathetic through the entire ordeal, and even before that when we never had any issues.

I really wish I never used your service. Every time i use Uhaul I have been inconvenienced in a way that is nearly unbelievable. Last time it was the third party movers that called to say they were on the way and ultimately never showed up. This time? I reserve a 10x30 storage unit for my family's belongings and since y'all use two websites or whatever the worker said, they had no record of this. It was Sunday. All other storage units nearby were closed because it was Sunday. I had to scramble to find a place for my stuff. Uhaul was so kind to offer me a unit 45 minutes away at a cost of free for a month. Thanks. That was included in my one way rental. Also they guy said for $125 cash per hour he'd unload it. Never again.

This Uhaul location never fails to leave us anything but satisfied. We're very happy with their services! Our move out (of our storage unit) and loading onto a truck (Rented day of) was easy and without any hiccups. There was a small issue with the storage unit, but upon calling the location and discussing, the employee, manager, and GM were all extremely helpful and got the issue resolved, no problem. When I voice concern I was told they are short staff Also my name was I list for a larger unit over a year and I was told within that year no larger units were available. After 9 years in the same unit, we started getting burglarized repeatedly a few months ago up until just a few days ago when we were finally able to finish moving out. The upstairs units are totally insecure and nothing was done at all to secure them after all the break-ins started happening. I was offered no alternative, safer unit. You have no business offering storage if you can't keep criminals from simply climbing over the walls to do as they want with other people's belongings.

The single worst experience I've ever had at any business. We booked a usual to help a new employee move from Tampa. Arranged reservation through call center and they said we were all set with payment using our corporate credit card. Employee arrive to pick up uhaul and now they needed actual credit card. I went down there and now they wouldn't take it because corporate credit card was not under my name - the story goes on and on. They were completely unhelpful and unsympathetic about the new employee to had arranged everything to drive to Tampa and move to Jacksonville this weekend.

Someone had gone into my storage room removed almost all items that I have in storage took the paper that items that were taken were wrapped in and I had to pay Around $181 a month for four months was told that I could not close my contract until I cleaned up the mess that I didn't make. I would recommend it ONLY if the employees listed below were still there, if the restroom was well-maintained and if there were more carts. Terrible customer service from the majority of previous employees, especially the managers for the past 15+ years. These employees have been consistently EXCELLENT: Kaitlyn Lucontro, Mike Henson, Jarod Floyd, Beth and I can't remember his name, tall, clean shaven, short hair, Caucasian man, I think in his 40s. The number of carts has been decreasing in the past several years from 7 or 8 down to 3. In the last few years, the restroom has very often been out of paper products or out of order.

It was fantastic that I could access the facility 24 hours a day when I was working overnights. This is a super busy location and I loved being able to come in late at night and not worry about lots of people or being able to find a cart to pull stuff out as needed.

I secured storage with another company because my unit was upstairs, which was not communicated while making the reservation. I paid for a untied and started moving in on the 9th. Only to be told that a lock was on the untied and couldn't be taken off. This is very inconvenient for me so I'm back to trying to find a storage.

No trolly in my truck Has was lower than what it was placed. I had to pay for fuel I didn't use. I couldn't access my storage unit, because my pin did not work. Someone else had to let me in, and then there was no lock. So I had to leave my unit unlocked while I went and found a lock. Terrible experience.

Kaitlyn, everyone was courteous and professional. I was so tired and sore due to a bad ankle for one and I really appreciated the extra effort put forth by your staff. Even you walking back over to check the lock on my storage unit to make sure it was properly secured. Thanks to all for going above and beyond to help me.

The office manager messed up my UBox order on this past Saturday 4-17-21. It caused me and my packers time before payment could be received. I have a problem with this facilities rules of no receipt of payments of monies paid in advance and the contract is cancelled 2 weeks before the end of the month. It's like being robbed having to pay for services not rendered. It upset me greatly. I am going to another Uhaul in another state and they would not even give me my money to credit them. They caused me stress. They should send me a check for the residual monies.

The experience was great for storing. The line and wait in the store for service need to be improved greatly. The wait time has been up to a 45 min in line.

This was the most friendly and organized facility that I have seen. The staff was very professional but personable at the same time. I would definitely recommend this location.

Mr. Kirkman, Duke and Swavi were all BEAUTIFUL, These guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that I had everything I needed to make this a successful move in experience for my storage unit, although the store was extremely busy I would certainly recommend anyone I know to go to that Normandy location! All three men deserve IMMEDIATE RAISES! If I could rate a million stars I would!

I enjoyed my experience at Uhaul with one exception. They were always short staffed, so anytime I needed assistance there were long lines that I had wait through.

Old furniture and trash was left out in the hall way of the indoor storage rooms. However, the staff is amazing. Kaitlyn, Beth and Robert are great.

all but one was friendly. Kirk and Beth were helpful. Easy to get the truck and close out my unit. Had a little trouble with my card, but it was the computer system readers. They had to do a manual.

The size of the storage was not was expected. The 5 x 10 is the size of a locker and it was another. Not meant for beds or large household items. I was misinformed by online staff.

The staff was ok, lacked training. The facility was dirty. I am unhappy that I paid $100 for 2 days worth of storage due it being "month to month" I am no longer a uhual customer.
