The extent of time it took in the parking lot listing everything , registering everything ,then the ridiculously blurry jpeg picture of where my specific rental van was was ridiculous, I walked threw the big lot full of them for 1/2 hour after spending 1/2 hr registering everything only to then walk around store to opposite side to finally find the truck ! So after all this I lost an hour of rental I paid for , then I returned it right on time only to be called by the counter person stating I didn't return a wheel cart in which I never rented , nor never asked to rent, nor was there one in the truck ? So I wasn't pleased with this rental process !

UHaul has a great rental system with their online portals, and e-mail confirmations - and the location on Transit Road in Depew has a great team to get you set up and on your way with great trucks.

We told two women two different times about the five issues we had with the truck. They totally ignored us and did not even tell us what they were doing, or where they were going? They were rude, uncaring and very unfriendly!

Great team working at this location. Professional job and went out of their way to make some las5 minute changes per my request. Truly, they put the customer first. I hope they are compensated well for what they do. While I waited I heard a customer who came in and was aggressively abusive to the staff. The individual was very "self entitled ". The staff handled the situation very professionally and did a great job diffusing the situation but should be recognized for not only the great job they do with the installation but also for their skill of working with difficult customers.

There always seems to be one person not as friendly. This time was when I returned the truck. I waited outside for awhile I finally got out of truck and opened a door and a lady yelled that I was not supposed to be there. There were no signs on the door and I had waited about 5 minutes. Anyway other than that everyone else was great from check in to getting truck and checking out

Teach counter associates proper manners. I asked the associate "how are you today?" Twice as he walked from opening the door & rushed to his counter spit. I once again asked the same question. He replied "what do you need"........wow, how extremely rude. The mileage was wrong by one (1) Mike in your favor & I tried to change & the photo wouldn't upload. He said it will when I return truck...well, that didn't happen. The windows were extremely dirty on the exterior of the truck. The cab smelled like vomit. Other than that, the return associate was amazing, & very cordial. Swift return process.

Overall, everything was great! Two minor issues/questions: - There were a couple of items that I paid for, but did not receive during the appointment. Should I call the store and order to get those? - With the installation of this trailer hitch, it hinders the power tailgate sensor for my vehicle. Although not a huge, issue curious if there's something that U-Haul could install or move the original sensor to make it operable again. Merci.

The woman with the word "Hope" tattooed down her neck is extremely rude! A customer pulling her Uhaul truck out of the parking lot came within 1/2" of hitting my Jeep. I was looking to see if she hit my vehicle and Miss Hope Tattoo said in a very nasty tone " just back up your Jeep!" And she looked away, would not even give me eye contact. Extremely rude! She needs further training on professionalism.

this was my second location of the day to pick up a "confirmed reservation". When I went to the first location, the vehicle was buried in snow behind another vehicle and wouldn't start. I called U-Haul to find another 26' truck and was told the others they had there were booked so I would have to go to Transit rd. to get another. This location was 50 minutes away. Upon arrival I was told it was going to be more $ but the girl didn't know why! The manager was sitting right there but didn't say a word when I questioned this. I called Uhaul and was told the manager would reach out to me. That was Friday 1/19.... I still haven't heard from him! I definitely wouldn't recommend this location and probably won't recommend U-Haul at all!!!! I will be calling to file a complaint

Customer service is exceptional very accommodating to questions and concerns, However the rates are extremely high way robbery, not only heaving to replenish the fuel used which is expected, however 0,89 per mile is ridiculous for a independent contractor, as well as they total when returning the uhaul, the system over charges your balance due in to of the balance owed😡 great customer service bad rates and the system over charges your, this will be my last resort emergency temporary transportation moving forward.

The guy that checked me in for my reservation was quite nasty. I showed up for my reservation and there was no one to be found for 15 minutes. Once I found the guy I asked him if he could get me my reservation and he said "I could in a few minutes". Then was very unpleasant while getting my information for the reservation. The man that helped me when I returned the U-Haul was very nice though!

The person working inside was not very helpful. Went in said number was on truck advised could t see because of snow covering it asked if it was a certain one said yes let me walk out realized I didn't have key so went back in he said might truck was on the other side . Again not brushed off or plowed got stuck in lot finally another man came out shoveled so I could leave . Lot was a disaster entrance barely could get out when return lot not plowed . Man who worked counter was rude when I say I parked and tried to do turn in online and had issues said the people that make the website aren't that bright and proceeded to tell me I parked on wrong side . When website said I could park anywhere. Truck was fine . People at location where terrible

Picking up vehicle took a really long time and seemed to take longer for other customers too. The parking lot on both sides was covered in ice, if I hadnt worn antislip shoes I surely would have slipped with how slick the whole parking lot was

The male that checked me out was very rude and unprofessional. From the moment of contact he was very course in his conduct and not friendly or polite in any manner. When I asked to talk with the manager, which was a female, and complained of male's behavior, she acted just as impolite.

I really appreciate the employees at this facility. They were super friendly and very helpful. I'm in a big transition in my life and wasn't quite sure how to handle moving, but they went out of their way to help me and answer all my questions! I think the person I spoke with the most is named Ally? They were literally the best! And the person who works outside collecting the Uhuals, very nice and super hardworking! It's seems like it's always busy at this location, but he always keeps the line/drop off moving fast! Will definitely recommend this location to anyone moving!

Only negative comment I have is that management of this U-haul facility clearly allows people to rent their units as a places of business, which has always been illegal in other states where we have lived. One business unit (I saw them working and moving product every time I went to my storage unit.) is right next to the large access door, so ingress/egress was always very difficult for me; and their cars were always blocking that dock door as well. However, I'm not giving a lower rating because everyone was kind and respectful whenever I asked them to move; I simply should not have had to do that every time (literally) I went to my storage unit.

I was super disappointed in the storage facility. My unit was covered in cobwebs and debris. It was absolutely freezing inside with no good lighting so it's dark in my unit. If I hadn't just paid $130 for a U-Haul!to move it all in, I wouldn't have unloaded all of my belongings into the space. I will definitely be using the next month to move somewhere better. I moved from a storage unit that was $75 a month, indoors, beautiful facility to this for almost double the price. Not worth the price- I'm very upset.

Elaine is the manager ,and she is an exceptional ideal employee always willing to help with any problems, love this location at 6161 Transit Rd. Highly recommend this location. You have to wait ,and be patient staff is short and times are changing nothing is as it was but the staff that is there working hard to make sure you get what you need, thank you for being so helpful !

Staff was very, very helpful. Even though extremely busy two of the young women were particularly excellent. I'm sorry I don't know their names, but one help me check in and get everything arranged; the other helped me get a very large and heavy item into my storage room. (I hope she doesn't get in trouble for helping me, she was an excellent example of your helpful staff.)

Great site and the staff was awesome. However making the reservation was a pain. I was told that I could do it online but the site will allow multiple ppl to make the same reservation. So I called - waited over 2 hours on hold and finally got to talk to someone. This made me think that I had the reservation. When I went into the store the next day, the staff told me the same thing - I still might not have it since the system allows multiple ppl to book the same space. Luckily I did get it - but that's a really frustrating and upsetting system.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this facility! The only reason I moved out was it was no longer necessary for me to house my belongings. There was one problem. In this facility, there is a drive-in option to get you out of the weather. Very nice, out of the weather and close to the storage unit. The issue is the floor is finished in a gloss polish. When I stepped out of my truck, my foot slipped and I fell to the ground. My while I understand the effort to keep the facility clean, I would suggest changing the floor finish to a "sand imbedded or textured" surface. Other than that, great people, gre3at site.

Used the "rent now" feature online to receive "free" disc lock. Unit was locked with a padlock and no "free" lock was provided. Employees stated that it was not included and I had to purchase a lock for $10 - 12. Other than the awful 1st attempt to get my unit, things are great. Just glad I didn't try to access the unit after 7 without any assistance for this debacle.
