Verify that if a Self-service reservation is moved, it's moved to another Self-service location. Add more representatives to the U-Haul App support team for assistance with Self-service issues (45 minutes wait times). Modify the Scheduling Center's hours to EST for reservations made on EST.

John WildUhaul moved my rental time to a later time. I had movers scheduled and had to cancel them, rent a smaller truck and move my household goods myself. Employees have little concern and blame truck dispatch team.

CHARLES HARVEYSo I made 3 separate reservations two months prior to the date I needed them . Only then was I contacted the DAY BEFORE my pick up that only one of the 3 vans requested would be available and to be told by the Regional Reservation lady that I could go myself to 2 other cities to retrieve the other ones. And then while picking up the second one the reservation was changed without a call to pickup the second one back at my original pick up location and was not a van as requested but a box truck.(van was needed for a/c due to the use was for floral delivery) and the third van was available but nearly an hour away.. The staff at the local store in Auburn was very nice and understanding but it was the staff in the Regional Reservation Department that failed at everything for me and could have cared less of the situation I had been put in. So just know that reserving way in advance will not do any good since they will change it without you knowing at any time. Also, sending a message through the app to the center location doesn't help. I did that multiple times leading up to my pick up date stating my concerns for the reservations and had no response.
Mike WeaverI rented a covered trailer to move antique furniture. The trailer top leaked and my furniture was damaged. What was the point of me renting covered transportation, if my stuff got wet anyway?

I was in the wrong though, I had the right information and made a judgment way too quickly off of information that was correct, but I interpreted it completely wrong. I sincerely apologize and want to thank the U-Haul team in Auburn for their outstanding service.
James HarbinCancelled on me the first weekend that I booked the truck. It caused me to not be able to move in during my scheduled time. Booked another truck the second weekend through customer service. Booked a one way rental then had them cancel on me again because they "don't have any one way rentals at this location." When they finally got me a truck it had a massive leak in the box due to a subpar patch job. I've worked in the moving industry for 5+ years and this level of service is unacceptable under any circumstances. Ended up having to drop the truck in Atlanta after they canceled on me and lied multiple times to be able to make my move work and they had the audacity to try and bill me $500+ on top of the rental price.
Jared SmithThe pickup truck I reserved was not available. Instead I had to take a massive moving truck. The employee who connected the trailer to the truck didn't do it properly and I came disconnected when I was loading equipment into the truck. If the trailer had fallen off driving around town it likely would have caused a car accident.

Both came out to where we were renting a trailer and assisted with hookup. We were in and out in less than 15 mins. Highly recommend this location...
RICHARD STEVENSI made the reservation by phone with the 1-800 U-Haul number and was given this location to pick up a trailer. When I called U-Haul in Opelika the female answered the phone and I informed her that I was on my way to pick up the trailer. This ghetto female then informed me that she did not feel like uploading or putting the trailer onto my truck that it was too cold outside and to come at 2:30 pm. I did inform her no I was not going to come at 2:30 and that I was on my way now. I informed her that we had to move items today and my husband can connect the trailer. Then Ghetto female then asked me the size of the trailer. I informed her that the trailer was a 6 by 12. She then informed us to come on. When we get there ghetto female continue to inform us how it was cold outside and that they would not supposed to connect a trailer. I did inform the ghetto female that I was heading to Utah in Opelika Alabama does not compare when it comes to the weather in Ogden Utah. Normally if you don't want to work then don't expect to get paid. Ghetto female stepped away from around the counter had on a hat that was not covering her entire head a jacket that was not closed and some damn house shoes. Go back to what she said I do not feel like it because it's cold outside put some damn clothes on ghetto. I would not recommend this place to no one. To add. The area is already tight for parking. Ghetto and the guy with her was trying to help a customer park. Ghetto female caused the customer to hit a pole three times. The guy who was terrible too and was an employer finally got in the vehicle and parked the car with no problem. Question, why wasn't that done in the FIRST PLACE. OMG. Now time has passed where two vehicles were blocked for over 15 minutes to include myself. Whoever those two people need to be fired right alongside them two. I don't remember the female name but she had lashes on with tips on her nails with fake diamond designs and weave or a long wig on. The guy was a big guy that seems to go along with whatever the female was spurring out of her mouth.

ric cuttsI received an auto transport with a flat tire which delayed my move by one day and also changed my moving plans and caused me extra charges on my return. I also waited 2 hours outside freezing waiting for the repair person Saturday night. The uhaul location here said I had caused the flat even though I only had it for 5 mins and brought it right back as I saw the tire was fully flat. Check the time I rented the equipment and when I drove it back to uhaul and the finally the time the roadside request was made. Also check the roadside assistance persons notes, he mentions that the tire has been flat for a long time now since this specific flat was so slow leaking, it would take more than 8 hours for that tire to deflate with how small puncture hole was. Yet it was fully flat when I returned to the store and reported it all within 20 mins which is not possible if I caused the flat since the leak was so slow it would take 8+ hours to fully deflate to zero as the repair person noted when he examined and replaced the tire.

Thomas GasterToo many trailors at drop off. Staff tried to help guide me around all the trailors but my vehicle was damaged by an open trailor not parked in a correct spot and in front of yellow bumpers. Not enough room to safety drop off and turn around which caused damage to my vehicle, which the staff directing me around in the Lot seen.

HERMAN BARNESThis was not the location that I reserved and was given a guarantee or a $50 credit when I reserved my uhaul rental from the location on Shug Jordan Parkway. This location has 4 parking spots that are not intended for those who are renting, but simply making a purchase inside. If the restaurant next door was not closed, I would have had to find somewhere to leave my vehicle and then find my way back. While the employees were very helpful, I specifically chose not to use this location due the location of the store and the limited space. This location is also limited when leaving with the rental as one can only make a right turn, and not a left turn upon exiting.
