Hello, We have rented the van from U haul 112 Clarke rd on 2nd April 2024, Unfortunately the van got stolen on 4th April and police recovered the van safe and sound on 6th April. But we got charged by Uhaul until 9th April. We got charged for $590 for a week. We have a corporate account and we are regular customers. The charges aren't correct. We have tried to discuss the issue but nobody helping us.

Given truck with 4 miles to empty. Paid in full PLUS deposit. Havent recieved my deposit back or the fuel credit that was outlined in my original contract. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Our only issue was that the truck mat was wet and smelled liked pickles. I assume that the previous user broke a jar of pickles? The issue became that we needed to put the mattress and couch onto the floor of the truck and did not want it to get wet or smell like pickles.

Your app is horrific.... I work with app and dev security...for a living. But I could not even get your app to login... it just crashed and died... I email support abd the ask me to remove it and install again.... I obviously tire this already... Pretty terrible.. lol

Found it odd that the "pickup location" was changes the day before.... however in my case only, i was given a 15ft instead of a 10ft, which by luck fit everything I needed to move with a bit of extra space.... all employees from all locations were helpful, didn't have any issues interacting with any of them. Same as the "Pickup"

When the vans are covered in ice and snow, your desk crew can offer renters a snow removal device from the unit return location. Once we found out they were available, we were cleaned off and ready to go! You're welcome!

Customer service is way beyond excellent. Awesome people. However, the covered trailers could use some work. Hitches warn out and rusty, and bearings could be inspected and greased.

They should mention that a $100 hold would be put on your credit card. And the charge per km covered is a bit too high, $1,1 per 1 km. On the website I was told the fee to rent is $25, at the end I ended up paying $60

Friendly staff however the App did not work that well and I had to go to the desk. The App is also terrible for taking you through many screens asking if you want to buy add-ons. I get why the prompt is there but its too much and not friendly that way. The van was amazing, clean, new and drove great, Makes me wonder why I have not been renting vans from you more often. While the truck was clean and seemed to be well maintained, it did have a fairly significant steering wheel shake at around 50 to 55 MPH (80 to 90 kmh).

We did have a break into our unit, the team called us right away, let us know and were supportive with getting a new lock put on. The facility was clean and well lit. I would definitely use it again.

The staff were very helpful. The map provided was helpful in locating the unit. The unit was clean and well kept. Only negative was that the lock was frozen and the lock that was sold to me did not fit on the side recommended for customers to use.

Some employees more so at the front desk exhibited rudeness. But there are those who are also nice. We have witnessed one employee dealing rudely with a black customer since there was a language barrier but her mode instantly changed on the next client who were white people. I felt bad for the black guy. For us we have a couple of times experienced being charge a penalty fee because we were late with the payment for a day or two and there wasn't a notice sent to us. My card at that time was changed because It got scammed and because I was busy I forgot informing their office about my card change. But after a day I was already fined for overdue payment. And our unit was locked. Although as soon as I remembered, I called them and my call was directed to their main office and I was informed that a day delay won't penalize me, that I'm still good until 5 days. But I paid the second day of my delay. And yet I was still penalized, without getting any notice for reason given by their staff that everything was in the contract. The other times I had to change my card but when I called the office to settle matter, the staff I've talk to was rude on the phone. I got annoyed that time with how the reception was talking to me and so I might have raised my voice a bit but she threatened to cut me off, that I got to apologize even though I know they shouldn't be dealing with their clients that way. I work with clientele as well, so I maybe know proper and nice treatment, modesty aside. We loved the facility, it is clean and safe and a real nice storage, but client treatment and service was bad for us. My apology for these comments but clients have the right to be treated nicely since we deal with them nicely too and we are paying all our fees. I commend the lady (forgot to check her name) who checked out the unit when we did the return. Also the lady who gave us the tour when we first visited the facility. The only two nice people that we met at this storage. Thank you anyway U-haul for taking care of our needs.

Assistant Manager I spoke with in person was extremely unprofessional and rude. For that reason I would not recommend this specific location. I am using it for the bare minimum needed. I would recommend other U-Haul locations that take customer service seriously though.

A employee by the name of Stella greeted me upon arrival the first day I arrived at the premises. She was friendly and helpful. I explained to her I was there to clean out my deceased mothers storage locker and this was a very hard day for me. We chatted and bonded over the fact both of our moms had passed away from COPD. Stella was extremely friendly with me which initially made me feel very comfortable. She walked me all the way to my unit and stood outside to chat with me for a little. She showed me one of her tattoos which I resonated with. Over all I thought it was a very positive experience, and even mentioned how friendly she was to me to one of the staff upon my last visit. Only to find out this exact same employee later told the management she "no longer wanted to deal with me and that I licked her tattoo" They then told this story to my father who had called the location to discuss the outstanding payment for the month of June11th-July 11th. He messaged me saying UHAUL had video footage of me licking a staff members tattoo. And accused me of being an alcoholic and drug addict. My father is a master manipulator and has been making multiple attempts at sabotaging me since my mother passed. I had cleaned the locker out and made a promise to pay over the phone. This was accepted. Until I got a text message from my father who told me that management no longer wanted to "deal with me" When I called to inquire I was told by Fatima that STELLA of all people had made these accusations against me and I found it extremely hurtful and confusing as to why someone who made me feel comfortable, heard and understood, and also made reference to her own personal business in front of me, would ever have something bad to say about me. I was was nothing but friendly with all staff anytime I was there and was under the impression my experience was positive over all. Until I was told by Fatima that after my father had called there I was no longer allowed on the premises and would be charged with trespassing if i ever came back I requested the video footage but was denied. I also requested an in person meeting with the manager and the employee who made the accusations. Which they also refused. I then let Fatima the manager know that my encounter with Stella was indeed very strange after all as she was super friendly AT THE TIME even mentioning in front of me that she was very happy as she just received a text message that she had sold all of her percosettes. Then later upon my move had completely changed her tune. I find this over all to be an extremely unprofessional location. The way the matter was handled is hurtful and appalling.

1) Door was damaged right from day one, and initially staff couldn't even open out assigned unit. They then tried to move us to two other units but both were even in worse condition - one the handle ripped off and left a hole, the other the door was jammed. They eventually got our unit open and working. Didn't inspire our confidence. 2) The area where the outdoor units are is "u" shaped, however the south entrance/exit was often blocked. With the bottom of the u being used for parking it made it hard to turn around to get out. Both north and south ways into/out of the storage area should be kept clear if trucks, trailers etc. 3) Staff was always friendly and helpful

Hi, I went this evening to look at my unit and the alarm wouldn’t accept the security code provided to me.

The one manager there was ignorant and very unprofessional. She would not make any kind of accommodation for my situation of being a Cross Border worker and not being able to empty my unit out till a day after my renewal was suppose to be. I explained everything thing to her and she continued to tell me I'd have to pay for a full month even tho I'd be moved out one day in to it. I feel as if I was essentially being scam for a month of rent for a day. I need up calling back and getting someone different who was more than accommodating of my situation and willing to help me out. So I thank her for being a good person! But that manager need to understand that the world doesn't revolve around her schedule.

I paid $200 a month for 6 months to store my furniture and all my belongings in a climate control. The roof leaked, my things suffered damage and I was only given $1000 for my loss and I feel this is wrong. This was of no fault of my own. I also believe that they should have reimbursed me for my total rental.

I was 3 days over due with my payment and I was taking my stuff out of storage but was still made to pay the full month even though it is now empty and lock is off!!! Was not happy at all that I had to pay in full for a whole month when I do not need it anymore and have removed all my belongings!!!! Would like some compensation and money returned to me for that or I will not be a returning customer!!! Rented a truck as well and had problems with a truck and was not compensated for that either!!!

It would be worthwhile to try to improve the online experience, as there are several bugs on the website. This has to do with booking as well as modifying reservations. It was acknowledged to me by staff members that it's not working well.

Incredibly rude morning service, manager is horrible to. She needs to be fired. Put a bad note on my account, I had someone read it to me and it's not even what happened. Between me, my husband and my late father in law, we have been with uhaul for well over 30 years and everyone liked us, but now because of bad morning service, and some old uhaul guy yelled at us to try to get my ptsd angry even after I asked him to leave us alone and that my husband is mentally ill. I'm banned from uhaul. Horrible manager, horrible experience.

The unit is great, only downside is being climate controlled and it being on the second level your having to walk up stairs to move your heavy boxes is the only downside. Having a ramp or elevator would be convenient.

Our family have been using U Haul storage for years, off and on, with various members of family moving to and around London and away as well. One of the main reasons I have depended on this particular storage U Haul is due to Fatima. Some time ago I ran into issues and complications from booking via phone and Fatima resolved the issue with excellent Management and Customer Service skills. this is something that has always played a role in our family's decision making when having to choose a merchant or dealer. Hopefully prices will not go too high as the need to find storage, at times in life, is difficult enough as it is but the added expense can be difficult for many to afford. Thank you, especially to Fatima, for your help when we needed it and hopefully all your staff will blossom under your influence and customer service. Support staff member was trying to register my room request. She tried several times to complete the move in request. Unable to because of a computer system issue. The store manager Fatima was great by securing the room which I wanted until the system issue was resolved. My only issue of concern was that I was not made aware of the insurance information which is required to rent a storage unit. This caused a further delay. All ended great. Got my rental. Rating would have been higher if the system malfunction did not cause the delay .Thank you staff at 112 Clarke Rd in London Ontario for your excellent support and understanding.

Inside my storage unit there was a mousetrap, and I was assured that the facility was regularly sprayed against insect pests. Was pleased with secure and clean indoor storage, because I had stored several rare books. At another storage facility in another city, my indoor storage unit had flooded because of a heavy rain.

Parking was a problem. I believe people other than customers who were renting a unit were parking their cars in front of the storage building leaving me with no place to park except for the disabled parking spot which is considered illegal parking. Without a parking spot, I didn't have access to my storage locker and had to return at another time which was inconvenient for me.

Found out after renting the unit on 2nd floor and arriving in London with my things there's no elevator on the premises and had to pay extra for a unit on the ground as stairs would have been a problem. Site should be more specific. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Terrible customer service! We cancelled storage before actually renting a "container". U haul still charged us a full month rent. We never occupied it at any time! (check your cameras) We received threatening emails we owed money, from this Fatima women, who also called our daughter, breached our Confidential personal information, defaming us & insisting it was "fishy" (in her jargon)! Good thing....this phone conversation was Recorded. This woman, Fatima was very unprofessional & rude! This woman needs to be REPRIMANDED or you will lose customers. We will be pursuing this further with our Attorney & have contacted The Canadian Consumer Protection Act! Never ever we will utilize this business again & will be informing others of this type of corrupt service‼️

My experience from the day I arrived until I moved out was horrible. When I arrived they didn't have the size storage I reserved so they gave me a bigger one at the same price. Then a month later they called and said I had to move my things to a different unit or I would have to pay more. I live out of town so I couldn't do that and it was COVID The manager insisted that it be moved so we did. Then they tried to charge me more that the price I was quoted every month. I could never get someone to call me back to discuss it. I would never use a Uhaul storage again.

The Manager Fatima was awesome. She can handle any large lineup that comes through the doors. Was great in handling all my storage needs.
