robert hI was commenting to my husband as we were leaving this U-Haul location, which by the way we only use this location for our frequent trailer rental needs, that I wouldn't go to any other U-Haul location but this one. The people are friendly. They always have the equipment I need or they get it for me to pick up there and overall we've just never ever had a problem. I would definitely recommend this particular location to anyone I know who has needs for some type of trailer or truck rental.

Nicholas LWe made a mistake when rented the trailer. We thought it was this location however it was another Manassas location. This location accommodated us quickly. Fixed our error. And we were on our way in a matter of no time at all. What could have been a huge headache for us - this uhaul location resolved.
anne mI was not made aware of the after hours fee. I would encourage the salesman to explain and go over every details and ask if the customer has any questions/concerns prior to leaving the facility. Again, if I knew the after hours fee, I would have adjusted accordingly.

Veronica RWhile the U-Haul app has problems making an accurate reservation, I have successfully used their website many times, and the staff at this location has always been helpful in letting me know what trucks are actually available. They are very courteous and knowledgeable about the process of checking the equipment in and out, and get the work done as fast as the computer system will let them. Highly recommend this location.

I rented a vehicle transport from this location and the staff attached it to my car, went over how to use the trailer, and advised me to not open the oversize tire straps unless I needed them. I did not, so they let me return them for a full refund. Very helpful.

ashley iThe snow and ice at the location early Saturday morning Jan. 20 was a challenge for the staff, my compliments to them for their efforts in cleaning the snow off of the 15' truck. Realizing that there are limits to the amount of snow that their equipment could remove, I did have issues with snow blowing off of the truck onto other vehicles on the road while driving. The staff gets 5 stars for their effort. The location's parking lot, although it had been plowed and treated, was still icy in many areas. I slipped a couple of times on the ice, but kept my balance and did not fall.

The tech was great. But I'm confused as to why Uhaul would hand out vehicles that have cylinders dead and or dying to a 6,5 month pregnant woman amongst all other things. Not to mention - being 6,5 months pregnant and waiting almost 2 hours in the cold. The tech did what he could but the issue still was there. He had informed us that the cylinders in the truck have been dead for the last two months. Why has uhaul not done anything about this? I am very displeased with my service and would like some type of compensation/refund in return.

One day he told me "You can't take it with you" meaning that I couldn't take my belongings with me to the afterlife. That bothered me. But what was worse was him telling me that I wasn't going to fit my load into my vehicle which I did. Moving is a lot of work and I did not need the discouragement. The custodian needs to learn boundaries. Everything else was great regarding my rental. He made me so uncomfortable that I didn't want to go back for fear that I'd have to listen to him. The other issue is that he plays his music on his cart extremely loud which interrupted my thought process and problem solving skills as I was moving.

I left 4 messages with only one return call which I missed. It's as if the manager felt she returned my call and that is all she had to do. I choice I would recommend U-Haul because as a whole my experience and ease of use was great but I would always have to add the caveat that management is not very responsive.

No sign of bugs or mice ever. Hallways always clean, floors shiny, lighting good, signage good to direct you to elevator. Elevator never out of commission. I think it's folks like her and the other staff that make this place great - they are the face of U-Haul. This place is very secure and why I won't go to just any storage company. Monitored 24/7 and if there are issues, you are contacted immediately not a few days or weeks after the fact. I will use U-Haul for any future storage needs, the prices are competitive, but the PEOPLE make all the difference. Every time I visit the office I am genuinely greeted not the "oh, hi um, welcome..." and when I have a question it is always answered and the staff has always done their best to take care of the customers.

I spoke with a male who, I thought, answered my questions. When I returned on Monday the female manager helped me. She gave me very different information from the info I had previously been given. I came back to rent a 5 x 10 unit thinking that the first month would be free. He gave me no other important information. I looked at his badge, probably not shirt. I believe I read "manager" so I was satisfied that I had the correct information. On Monday I was told that to get that deal I needed to rent a "one way" something. It took a while to be told that that meant renting a truck, one way. I am so happy that you sent this request. My interaction with the manager was not very pleasant. I was very disappointed. I told her that her employee did not tell me important info. Although she kinda apologized after I apologized her demeanor was very cool as she sat on her stool and casually took care of me. I was tempted to ask her if she "really wanted my business. I will try not to deal with her on my next visit to your facility. She wasn't horrible just no smile, now interest, no personality. I hope this isn't your best.

The information given in general, be it web info or call-center, was spotty and often incorrect. However when in contact with the actual ground crew at pick up and drop off that went away.
