Bryant H was rude and unprofessional. The truck wasn't in good condition. Dents all over the place. Truck wasn't full with gas from the beginning. Then I got over charged for it. I will not be recommending this facility at all to any of my colleagues or constituents.

When I made the preservation three weeks ahead, I asked for a truck for two days as I was going to be moving two households. The clerk said he could only reserve me for one day but told me that after I pick up the truck, to call in to get an extension. So on my first moving day, I called to get the extension. U-Haul told me that they could not give me an extension as another family had the truck reserved on what would have been my second day. I had to unload the truck at 4am rather than my desired 10am just to get it back in time. Did not get to use the truck to move the second household. When I brought the truck back , there were no workers there as it was Easter Sunday. And there was no other family waiting to take the truck.

Drop off was quick, although I would have liked a receipt, because I received a text a few days after we dropped of asking us to confirm we would be dropping off. Again this goes to a computer system, proper record keeping would avoid causing undo stress and the "there are no units available". This seems to be a systemic issue, not at the locations, but rather they system lacks. It is frustrating both for the consumer and the employee leading to inability to adequately help customers, which leads to frustrated customers and their expression of that frustration on employees, which defeats moral.

My only complaint is that the odometer reading at pickup was slightly higher than what was on the rental agreement. This wouldn't have made much of a difference at the end of the day, but just wanted you to know, it was off by more than a mile.

When I got there, two uhaul reps were at the counter, each at a station. One helping a customer. The other I wasn't sure if he knew I was there bc there was a shelf stacked with merch between him and me. After a few min I walked around to him and asked if he was able to help me. He looked up from his phone and said no, he will, pointing to his coworker who was helping the other customer. I waited my turn. When he was done with them, he asked if he could help, pulled up my name on the computer. Then he looked at his phone and said oh, hang on let me check something. He disappeared for 5-10 min. I think he's out looking for my van.another employee comes in and helps 2 other customers in the time I wait. Then my guy comes back in with a bag of Wendy's food, and drink. It's cool, people need to eat, but he then looks me dead in the eye and says "have you been helped?" This visit made me feel as if I was in the twilight zone.

There should always be someone in the lobby or have some way to see if someone is waiting in the lobby. After 5 minutes I went out to get someone. But they were very nice and professional

The location was great for what we needed. However, the truck we were given was extremely dirty in the cab and on the outside. We had to wash the mirrors and windshield on our own before we left the lot so we could see. There were several others that were clean, so I'm not sure why we were given the dirtiest one on the lot. The gas tank was not full, but we were expected to return it full - which we did.

I was on lively evicted and then had to deal with an unethical situation with U-Haul. Even up to the president was a disappointment beyond words. Will never recommend or go with U-Haul ever again.

They told me I did not need a receipt for the return. I insisted that I get a receipt and the rep seem to be upset that I was requesting such.

Poor customer service. I try to bought a key lock and they were not accepting cash at time. I scheduled my truck pick up for 9:30 am and someone came after me and they gave them my booked truck to the other customers.

The staff at Maplewood U-Haul was amazing. They were very patient with my questions and extremely helpful in getting us in to the storage unit, returning of the trailer, and emptying and vacating the unit. Very good service.

The trailer was in good shape and ready to go! Pulled it 500 miles.I stopped at another location 5 miles away first and they didn't have any and they said that the closest one was 100 miles away! Maplewood location had five! Merci

The rental we got had check engine light on and was for sure crashed before we got it. The passenger side mirror was missing and it smelt like weed in the truck. We even found pieces of buds on the seats. It wouldn't go over 40 mph without shaking and making a bunch of noise. I thought it was going to break down on me.

Have rags/towels available to wipe dew off of truck windows and mirrors. The aerosol spray didn't cut it.

Very horrible service as upon arrival i had an appointment and was called and told they the truck I needed was not in so they put me in a bigger truck for the same price however the truck was cold frozen I had to sit and let it warm I had to get the truck from behind the building myself as I thought they were suppose to pull the truck up in the front of the building. I removed the window sign myself as I allowed the truck to warm up. And the service I received was rushed. Very disappointing.

Great customer service, clean well maintained vehicles, I've never had a bad experience with this U-Haul location, it's not the closest to my house but it's the location I always prefer to go to. This location was recommended to me by a friend a few years ago and it's the only U-Haul location I go to.

Wasn't there long. The customer service rep was super friendly and helpful. But the location wasn't easy to get to. And once again changed (further away) from the location originally reserved.

I have rented and had storage with these people for tha past 6 months. I was told that I would get partial payment back for my storage unit, didn't happen and I need that money. I was also told by owner that upon renting the U-Haul which I had a deposition that I could pay cash. They denied me when I went in. I want my account credit back half of December for storage rental and some compensate for being lied to. I will make this public if it does not happen!

The people were wonderful and super helpful, but I will never recommend U-Haul to another person looking for short term storage. I paid for a full month 2days before I moved out. I talked to the office and U-Haul's policy is to NOT REFUND ANYTHING. Absolutely ridiculous that I paid for a month and moved out a few days later with no prorated rate. Never again.

First off, my first truck was dirty, still had someone else's garbage left behind, my second truck had a leak and it was raining so my belongings got wet and last but not least, my storage was not what I requested - I received the smallest unit you had for my one bedroom apartment which let me having to find additional places to store the rest of my belongings - 2 separate places. Placed a call to HQ and no one has followed up. Additionally, I was just charged 200 for a truck that was 30 plus mileage - I only went from St Paul to Bloomington and back. I would like someone to follow up.

They were very helpful. Just one thing, I understand that it's winter and it's hard to keep up with the snow but the ice in front of the door of the storage is awful. Please put salt or sand down. I made several trips back there and I couldn't stand on it to get my things in the car. Just letting you know. Overall excellent.

Not pleased by the fact that my access was denied at a time when I needed to get to my storage items and had help with me to facilitate moving items. Being denied access was inconvenient, embarrassing and very annoying since my payments were received and cashed. What I can only assume was a clerical/recording error that prompted my denial of access, and required me to come to the facility to prove I had NOT authorized closing my account. Absolute cluster of terrible to non-existent customer service. They gave me the wrong lock for my "free" month of storage only to return three days before checkout to find other locks on my locker and no one had a key! It took me calling every single uhaul number in existence to get a hold of the marketing company executive assistant who helped me find a way to get their lock off because not one other person gave any kind of a s*** and were not shy to tell you. The marketing company president and gm of the location never even turned up. I will continue to get my experience shared to corporate quality control.

I was very pleased with how clean the facility always was. The first couple of years I wasn't impressed with the customer service. You could be in the office and the workers would act like they didn't see you till they wanted to. When working with people an acknowledgment goes along way. The last couple days of cleaning out my unit I dealt with 2 of the workers there. Both were very helpful and nice. One of the gentlemen came off of his break and helped me check out when I had questions about one of the online checkout steps. He then checked me out right in the office. Threw conversation I found out he was the manager and the old staff was no longer there. With the new staff I would totally recommend this facility 100 percent.

I have used storages for many years. All of my interactions with the manager and various staff at this location have been very respectful and courteous. Other than the occasional delays due to staffing restraints, they managed to promptly resolve any issue or concern I may have had. The current manager and staff were responsive and they seem to be very dedicated and hard workers, Overall, my experience was very good to excellent. I will continue to do business here and would recommend them to family and friends. Thank you folks and best regards. -Jonathan

They called me a week ago, just a few days after I got the unit, and asked if I'd moved out. I asked why they'd assume that and the guy said, "because there's only this round thing left in your unit". Just days after renting the $129 space, the uhaul employees opened my rented space!! I just can't believe it. NOW to the best part. The monthly rental was effectively ended abruptly by uhaul as soon as that Wagon Wheel Chandelier has been moved out. I received half a month and they sent me a move out receipt THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE.

As soon as I dropped my insurance my unit was all of a sudden after a yr of storing my things was infested with mice. I had to throw away my $1000 mattress that I only had for 3 months before I had to store it. The manager was very rude when I told her about that.

I stopped by on February 3, 2021, the purpose of my visit was to rent the adjacent unit. My experience with the young lady Ronai (excuse the spelling) was not pleasant. She was borderline rude and condescending. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me, as her elder I felt she lacked respect not only for the job but for me as a consumer. I rarely feel the need to send negative feedback, I get it when someone is having an off day, but in this instance, my observation was that this behavior was not a one-time occurrence. However, I do feel that Ronai has the potential to be an awesome young lady and future leader if only she learns not to have such open and obvious contempt for those around her. Thank you, PMFO

I got charged $20 because the app didn't work for picking up my location when I went to drop the van off. I even called after hours and no one responded. Also got charged $20 for $5 worth of gas. I was too exhausted to fill up the minimal amount as I had worked all day and had a finite amount of time to move heavy and many items only to do it all again the next day. Uhaul shouldn't expect renters to refill tanks. Or at least penalize them terribly when they can't. The space is also too small for 195 a month . When I checked in the clerk only gave me the rental vehicle and didn't notice I was renting a space. I am severely disappointed.

At 1:30 I realized I needed more "room" for my move. Within 30 mins I had left, rented a truck and was back home loading it. Then, the next day I was able to unload the truck into the storage area. Clean, convenient and well maintained. Thank you for solving my moving issues on the fly!

Confusing service with uhaul. Kept getting sent to different locations. None of their staff was not trained on how to remove our trailer at final stop. My driver had to show him how to do this, and then do it himself. Very odd. Obviously, need to be trained on your equipment. Told me I was at the wrong location. Had me call my insurance agent, then lost all the info. Manager had her put down a fake insurance policy number. Very unorganized, but very friendly. Need training on their equipment. Not professional at all there. Talking about getting high before work. Manager eating while talking at the desk. They all said things, I would not allow in my business. Including the manager. Staff needs to be trained on being professional and organized. We were surprised to find that at Uhaul.
