My experience with the maplewood white bear ave uhaul was great this time !!! Jared was very pleasant to work with!! The guy out back who helped put trailer on was very kind and talked with me. My husband took my ball off my hitch so I was able to borrow one -very kind !!! When I got back it was a few min after 7 and it was snowing and I'd had a s*** day already.. the 2 helped me unload it.. I believe I heard one guy use the name Alonzo.. and the other guy idk his name.. very nice of them to help me quick ! I appreciated that!! Hands down best service I've had since I've dealt with them !!! Good job guys !!!

I'm a little disappointed, not in this location. The people there were great. I'm disappointed in U-Haul in general. I go online and put in all my info so I don't have to wait but more importantly so my people helping me don't have to wait to get the equipment. When I show up to pick up I end up waiting and having to re-enter all my data all over again. Your online experience is frustrating and the pre-pickup exercises a waste of time. One way or another I guess you're going to waste some time with the way your system is currently set up.

Worst truck I've ever rented. I know not was a rotation truck but this was totally unacceptable. Cab interior was sticky throughout, not clean at all, and with the covid pandemic...really? I've reported this to my local health department. Good luck.

Long wait time to pick up reserved trailer. I received no acknowledgement from person working there that I was even in the building and that she would help me. She continued on helping the person she was with, and for all appearances couldn't seem to care if i was in need of help or not.

I have used U Haul several times in the past year, it would be nice if I could pick up the equipment I need at the locations i request. I have had to go to locations way out of my way to get the equipment i needed and way out of my way to return it!

Focus on the customer. Don't look at cell phone photos of a coworkers baby when you have a long line of customers, especially when you are the owner according to the name badge. Also when corporate tells me I can get the 20ft truck at the 15 ft price because my 15 ft truck was given away to someone else, don't ask me what you are supposed to do about the person who had the 20 ft truck reserved. Not the customer's problem.

The biggest issue was waiting in line for an hour - despite having a reservation. I think everyone did. The problem was that for most of that time there was only one person able to work the front desk. So that may likely be a corporate issue. Or a protocol issue -- for example staggering people's pickup times could also help. I had to wait another 1/2 hour to work through an ordering error that had U-Haul documents showing I would return the Truck (not the trailer) by noon. Jamie, the manager, had me call corporate. Corporate gave no help at all. Their only offer was that I could pickup a truck in NEW BRIGHTON at 2! Ridiculous. I kept pressing for resolution and she said said that the manager (Jamie) could make her own decisions. By then it was 9:30 a.m. (an hour and a half to get the truck and trailer) and Jamie said okay -- you've waited far too long you can have the truck for the 24-hours you signed up for. I think Jamie should get a raise or promotion or some bonus for making a wise decision and salvaging a decent recommendation / review for U-Haul. I was very grateful for her empathy - especially with six friends lined up and waiting to help me move a 3 BR house and double garage.

Please add a clear note on the trailer's rear gate saying: "Open latch fully before lifting gate to prevent door getting jammed." It took us 30 minutes to get the gate back down because the rear latch was not fully open and it was blocking the gate from coming down.

Reserved a 15 foot they dud not have one so they gave me a 10 foot was too small for all my stuff. I stood and waited 10 minutes before anyone was there to even help ...

Reserved online for 24/7 contactless pickup. Arrive at scheduled pickup time. Truck was not where it was shown to be in the photo. Had to walk through whole lot to find truck. Took necessary photos then keys weren't in lockbox. Needed to go inside but didn't have required mask because I was expecting to not have to go in the store. The woman working wouldn't come outside to help me or bring me my keys. It took 30 minutes before someone brought my keys outside to me. Then I was yelled at for not wearing a mask even though I explained that I wasn't expecting to go in the store because I reserved online so I wouldn't have to. There are plenty of uhaul locations so I surely won't be using this one anymore. No need to get accosted for no reason.

The service was unbearably slow. Luckily, I had paid for my 15' truck in advance as another customer told me they didn't have his truck available as they had double booked it. The attitude of the staff was almost is it pained them to be at work. Nowhere near enough staff to support the volume of customers given the complexity of transactions. The same people were getting equipment ready as were manning the desks. I wouldn't go back there on a bet and, thankfully, I don't have to.

I rented from another location which closed prior to getting there so I called this location and was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I drove from west st. Paul to maplewood with no answer. Once inside, one staff member waited another 25 minutes not i was able to get a rental.

Need basic training on how to do their jobs and needs help with basic customer service. Horrible when no one seems to know what is going on. Then they talk about getting high before work right in front of us. Horrible work standards. Maybe that is the problem. They were so nice. Did not seem like a normal place of business. Odd experience.

They were very nice, although things seemed chaotic. They tried. No one was trained on taking off the trailer. My driver had to do it, and show them how. Things said were inappropriate by employees. Talking about getting high before work. Maybe that is the problem over there. They seemed extremely unorganized. They lost my reservation at first. Had me call my insurance. Gave them my policy number. They lost all of that. Instead of putting down the correct info- the manager said who cares, just put down all zeros. Not sure why they didnt want it if it is state law like they said. They all need adaquate training in there. I am a business owner, and I would never allow this in my business. Unprofessional would describe this place best. Very nice people. Trying hard. Really need to be trained for their jobs. Very different vibe and service than we received at the uhaul place we picked up.
