Clay GTrucks need to be inspected more closely. I am tired of renting trucks whose ramps are not maintained properly causing the ramp to not function correctly (i.e.: getting stuck pulled out, falling off track, parts are loose and preventing the ramp from operating in and out properly). Last rental I had to dismantle a part whose nut vibrated loose causing the part to slip down and the ramp from not being able to be pushed back in. A simple lock washer would fix this problem. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN MY LAST TWO RENTALS I HAVE HAD MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE RAMP BECOMING NON-OPERATIONAL ON MY JOB SITE. MAINTAIN YOUR RENTAL FLEET PLEASE!

Christi DThe truck that I rented had just a little over a half a tank so at best it was at 9/16th... I put gas in before I came to turn it in and the guy told me that it should have been at 11/16th. Whomever put the gas information on there was incorrect. I had to go back out and get more gas so as not to be charged $30. I will be much more aware the next time I rent from you all, otherwise I find the service and the helpfulness of the team to be excellent.

Lori SWhen I first arrived I told two ladies I was there to pick up my trailer. I was informed someone will be with me soon. A gentleman came to front the ladies NEVER told him I was there to get my trailer. Also they did not even say hello can we help you! That's not good customer service.

Matthew ZUnwilling to be flexible with dates. Had full inventory and stressed our return throughout the entire process. We've paid in FULL and still getting harassed. Their location is poorly run and lacks kindness in their service.
Michelle MThere was no signage on the road where to enter (two driveways). We pulled into the first one (wrong one). Had to back out onto a busy road with the big truck because could not pull through. Entered the second driveway. Nice big signage in the back of the lot for returns to sit in truck and wait for staff to assist in return of truck. We were asked if everything was ok with the truck. When we alerted him about the ac, he just said, 'ok, probably the antifreeze needs refilling'. Well, that's fine. But we had to drive 10 hours with no ac! We also returned the truck 1,5 days early. We did not get compensation or anything. For $3200 to rent a truck we should have been compensated for our issues.

Jared ANeeding a last minute car dolly, reservation made online at 615pm for a 630pm pick up, with the location closing at 7pm we hurried over and the front desk employee there ( I can't remember his name) Tuesday March 19th was so kind and helpful. He was efficient and thorough helping us connect and check the dolly and had us on our way in just a short time.

I'm going to put a bad review absolutely everywhere I can to ensure that I stop as many people from using your service as possible, and I want a discount on my services to make up for having to spend 2 hours just to check in because you didn't put in a manual check in option for the employee.

Richard Shead lamp was out, washer fluid pump leaked /inop (disclosed at time of pickup). Employees should have tried a bit harder to control their language. Very glad there were no young children around. We also purchased TV boxes at the time of pickup. The self check-out didn't seem to work and we had to hunt down an employee to check out.

Melissa PYour online reservation software stinks. I tried to reserve a 5x9 utility trailer for about half an hour. Could not find one, called the 800 number, she told me that they were hard to find. This location actually had about four.

Jerry DWe returned the truck with more gas than was in it when we picked it up yet they charged us for 3 gallons which was $15. I intentionally did this to avoid this from happening yet it still did. This was very disappointing and next time I will be sure to take picture when I return anything to have proof of before and after pictures so I will be able to dispute this charge. Something I shouldn't have had to worry about in the first place.

Kenneth YYour process for checking in, picking up a truck, and returning is clunky and not very easy to work with. It takes an extra 20-30 minutes to navigate the process in the app vs. talking to a real human at the store location who is available and could help expedite the process. Instead I wasted an extra 20 minutes to pick up my vehicle waiting on the app to work. It was also an additional 20 minutes waiting to return the vehicle.

Paul LNot sure why it is necessary to check in at 2 different areas. I guess one checked you in and the other opened the door. It seems that could be reviewed. The price kept increasing a couple of times which caused us to get out quicker. I believe the pricing is higher than in other places. For what we needed - we wanted to move to a smaller area but the price was only $5 difference and it wasn't worth the time to move. I believe if we were able to move to a smaller space with a significant dollar change we would have done that and probably remained awhile longer. Other than that, everyone is courteous and helpful.

I did not accept the storage unit as she would not let is park at the door to unload a full 26' truck. Sure told new I have to park an 1/8 mile bedding the building Walk the distance to the front of building them all the way to the door to go they to load all the way to the Unity at the farthest end. One dolly at a time. She's crazy and rude and she was so rude and mean to other customers as well. The line was backed up for service. She set me back almost two hours. I want a reading immediately. I am considering removing my donation storage I have had for years in Park Bay location because this service was the worst at The Melbourne location. I will be going straight to corporate about this matter once I Ann finished doing this clean out today. An entire household was donated to my non profit. It was too much to distribute to the families in need of these items. So we needed to store it. She was absolutely the worst service I have ever had in all my 58 years. I have been doing business with Uhaul a very very long time.

We did not feel welcomed or, accommodated in any capacity. The gentlemen on staff during 9/8 and 9/9 just seem to be very unhappy individuals who are on a power trip or, dislike their job? They ignored us when we walked in. My husband walked to the counter for assistance and was snapped at by the gentlemen behind the counter. Then, was answered with one word answers to his questions. They gave us very little instruction and this was our first time at this facility. We have had storage units in the past but we wanted to be sure we were clear on instructions. Overall, we are happy to have a storage unit and we need one. But at this point, we are only using this facility because it is convenient.

The storage room was one above and not convenient for older ladies and was already increased in price after just a few months. The facility was all of the above and we would definitely recommend the facility to anyone we know needing their service.

I had to make three efforts to get the situation cleared and it was not possible to do online. I had to come in ,stand in line and work with a human to get it cleared.

William P | Expérience généraleMy unit got broken into twice and I lost all my belongings and seems like it was not cared about and when I went in last to talk to somebody before auction I was told to pay the balance and the only person they could talk to was my 16 yr old daughter who I listed as an emergency contact which she has no legal obligation to my contract and I asked if I could see what items where left due to the second break-in bc I was told it was pretty much empty as the first theft by a friend who rents a unit across from mine and was told I could talk to Tony the next day but he wouldn't want to talk to me bc there had been issues with him and myself I'n the past. I stopped your employee and informed him me and Tony have never spoke not got into it with one another and he looked at me as if I was crazy. I'm really upset about losing all my belongings due to theft and your employees seemed to not even be concerned and I lost everything and now I'm being way over charged . I don't think this is fair nor your business not provide a person with assistance in following up on 2 break INS so I will be contacting uhaul and making a complaint and reporting the actions being conducted as something seems odd and possibly being withheld information on what and who was responsible for the crime that was committed and how I was unheard and unit auctioned for 10 dollars and owing almost 600 and my everything stolen when I was told my belongings would be safe when I chose your facility.

betty s | Expérience généraleLesson learned! The storage unit was not what we expected. My husband could not even stand up inside the unit. It says that the unit is 6 ft high and it is not. Because we are in a hurry (and moving) we had no choice but to take the unit. We are disappointed that when we rented the storage "locker" (which we did not know what that really meant) over the phone through uhaul it was going to be so difficult to get in and out of. For a good example, my husband could not even put his fishing poles in this storage unit. We have rented multiple storage facilities over the years, and this one will be a true lesson. We feel it is misleading and they should make SURE you understand the size before renting. The parking to unload is another obstacle as there is none really and only 1 door to access the building. We must say that the staff was very helpful & nice.

However, upon inspection, I was shocked to find just how high the second story units were (the only reason they did not rate an "Excellent"), but they were all airy and spotless, as was the entire facility. Sawyer was definintely an asset; polite, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend this move-in experience to anyone, even short people like myself.
