People were really nice at pick up and drop off. However the trick did have a strange smell almost like urine human or pet not sure. Kind of a bit off putting. The trick was clean to see but the smell was funky. Need to rent again hoping for something a bit fresher.

Your employees were great but they need more help between 8-9am! They were running to complete tasks and moving between two terminals to help two customers simultaneously!!

The young man had to multi task . It was first thing in the morning and the customers all showed up at 9, he was alone. He was great, friendly and did not appear to be stressing. He did a great job.

The guys that helped check in/out were super efficient and friendly. You can tell they've dealt with a lot of crap, but it never carries ober to the next customer they're helping. Thanks for the efficiency and keep up the great work!

I was overcharged, I was charged for gas when I put more gas in than the uhaul originally had in it. I was charged for a mattress cover then told I was lying and showed them the receipt and got hassled that they will just have to "shrink it" out. I want my money back I'll never use uhaul again at least not this location.

The app did not function for my attempt at a self-service return. Doing it via the website before I was forced into the app was easier

You should have scanners in your locations for drivers licenses N cameras for pictures when you APP and does not work be more likena physicians office where the checking in fast and simple I spent 2 hours just to rent a simple storage unit shouldn't be rocket science!!!

I picked up my vehicle at the 200 Canal St location. Person knew little about the truck's fuel usage/ tank size/ nothing. Did not know about any tollway toll handling. Did not have the furniture covers I had rented. 43 jefferson was willing to let me have some of their furniture covers even though the order was not through them.

Customer service was great when I picked up the truck. Check engine light was on when I got in. Doors needed to be slammed shut to close (seems like there was a previous accident that wasn't properly repaired). Half tank of gas on pick up is kind of annoying. Uhaul should incentivize custumors to drop off with a full tank. The app is buggy. I did after hour drop off and the app dropped me during the picture taking portion. When I logged back in and pressed 'return my truck', there was no active or previous rentals, so just parked the truck and returned the keys to drop box. After hours drop off could have been better/easier.

Don't charge people for things they did not use. I was not told the dolly was an upcharge. I had to remove it to make space in the truck. There was no notice that it was an extra expense. It's like hotels charging for water that they leave on the nightstand. Deceiving & leaves a really bad taste in customer's mouth

I just always feel that after everything is said and done when I get an email with my bill the next day, Always Always there are surprise charges! Even though a customer service rep credited me a little over 50.00, I still feel like the rental was a little too exspensive in my opinion. And then to have to take my time to call and fix the mistakes that someone carelessly did is not fair to me. This has happened before in the past ass well. Thankyou, Kim Santa Maria

I reserved a 15' truck and there is daily rate, and during the reservation process it asked for how long I would need the truck - it says not a commitment but an estimate. So I put use my best guess of 4 hrs. When I arrived to pick the truck up I was told I needed to get it back 4 hours from my reservation date even though I was a little late. I was told they needed it back because they booked the truck. Since I paid the day rate I was expecting to be able to have it for 24 hours. This last minute chance without my knowledge expecting was not just a shock, the agent wasn't very understanding - and it made the move much more stressful than need be because we were rushing. Moving is very stressful to begin with, so we did not need this. I will rent from you again but if there were a reasonable choice near me I would not.

the containers were not the same size or shape as advertised and shown in the informational video. when the u-box arrived at the pick up location we were shocked that it would only hold a small portion of our studio size apt belongings rather than all of it as expected. a second container had to be added last minute which led to a series of contract revisions and added expenses.

Jamie & Shawn , at the Jefferson Ave Salem MA U Haul, who assisted me were very courteous and knowledgable. They did a great job of customer service ! I will be back and the rental price was very reasonable in this times of high "Bidenflation" !!!!

Anthony was fabulous! I have had numerous issues trying to get my ubox delivered when speaking to U-Haul customer service team. No one seemed to understand the process. When I went to the U-Haul location, Anthony understood exactly what I needed and was extremely helpful! I now have a storage until at his location. Give this man a raise ;)

I called ahead to let them know I was dropping off the trailer. They told me I needed to wait 25 minutes once I arrived because they weren't expecting me for another 20 minutes. After waiting with 0 help for 20 minutes I unloaded and checked the trailer out myself. Once I started pulling away one employee ran over to "check the lights" before I left, and made me wait while they plugged it back into my rental and checked brake lights and blinker. Everything was good to go but they had 0 customer service and made me wait after I gave them a significant heads up of my arrival.

Storage area was not clean. When I started moving my belongings I noticed mouse droppings on some of my boxes. When I was ready to leave I was kept waiting in the office because even though there were 3 staff and only two customers I was told I had to wait for the manager.

Manager on duty when I closed my account could have been more friendly after I used their service for 3,5 years. However the Regional Manager or Sr Manager was excellent and very understanding and customer focused.

I have rented numerous trucks from Uhaul from the past, and this location is excellent. Anthony and Chris are super friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to give great customer service. Seemed like every time I was there, Anthony was there to help me with whatever I needed, and he was always so patient, kind, and accomodating. Uhaul is a big company, but they make that branch feel like a local neighborhood rental and storage place. Just great service. 10/10. Thanks for everything!

The storage unit with a ladder walk up, left much to be desired. Anything heavy would be like impossible to to leave here so unless I get a bottom unit, I'm gonna have to pull out before the month is out even though it's been free and find a place where I can at least put heavy stuff in, otherwise I love this U-Haul place. I've been using it for well over 20 years not for storage but for trucks and supplies it's better than it ever ever was. It's super top-notch, modern and friendly as ever can be the people and helpful.

After a rough couple days with very little sleep moving up from Manhattan it was a huge relief to have friendly, professional help with returning and storage. Max is definitely ready for his assistant management position and went above and beyond to help me get my storage unit set and truck returned. Anthony's leadership and poise were critical at drop off and he has been very helpful resolving discrepancies with the New York pick up location. Make sure you hold on to these guys.

The storage area is brightly lit, with parking right next to the building, and several carts and stair ladders to use. I made my reservation online and everything was ready for me when I drove over. The man who helped me was friendly, went over everything in detail, and answered my questions.

Danver Mass one staff was very rude unprofessional refused to attached my car to. Uhaul truck, he's Cambodian but 2 ladies helped on 6/29

Renting this storage unit from Uhaul has been among the worst decisions I have made. It was nothing but a huge pain to deal with from beginning to end

My problem was with the sales rep on the phone. She didn't realize that the storage box on the second level had access only by a stairs/ladder. It was very difficult to get into, pipes in the ceiling and a difficult angle. I wouldn't have been able to manage if my son didn't tag along last minute. The general manager at the Salem, MA location was EXCELLENT and should commended for how he handled the store as it was getting absolutely SLAMMED with customers while he only had one other employee to help him. You all need to give Mr. Chery a raise and get him more staff.

My storage unit looks like it might be the runt of the litter, but it gets the job done. The storage unit door does not have the U-Haul logo and painted number as the rest of them do, so it seemed like maybe I got the trash pick. This unit was the last one of its size and fits all of our storage needs, so we make it work.
