Smooth process and the service was good! Only place I'll get a uhaul from now on!
Patience MorrisThe staff member was rude when he checked me in and checked me in incorrectly. The app to check out after hours was not good either. The app kept glitching and either deleting all my photos, freezing on one screen, or crashing completely. That app was the single most infuriating POS and really ruined the whole experience. To recap, when working with customers, especially when it's their first time with UHaul, please do the following: 1. When customers ask questions such as how the process is to access the storage unit they rented, don't mock them. Provide clear directions, so that they have the general idea and required entry card before leaving. This prides could have gone much smoother if check in was more organized and my questions were answered correctly and completely. 2. Explain the general check out process. If customers are dropping equipment off after hours, they should know where they drop the equipment off, describe the general process of check out on the app, explain that there is help available over the phone if the app doesn't work, and describe where the key drop is. This location was seriously not professional in any of the training it had for its staff. If there was training provided, the staff, excluding the manager Dawn herself, were negligent and should undergo new training. This entire experience just added more stress to the move. As a moving and storage company, your service should be to help reduce the stress of moving not be the sole cause of it.
Joseph ChrissThere's two doors, I went to go in the small van door, and my code was denied twice, so I walked all the way up to the front and the cold weather just to find out I needed to use the doors around the corner because the store was open, you should be able to get through the main door. The store is open or closed, or there should be instructions to tell you when the store is open the large glass door.

The really heavy set black girl that works there needs to get her proper rest, and wear a mask. The one with the big forehead a had a ponytail on Monday morning. I'm asking questions and she's yawning in my face. She rolls her eyes in CUSTOMERS faces. Funny I rented from washtenaw in November and the BLACK girl was rude. I'll never rent front you ppl AGAIN, and I'll make sure to share my experiences. The truck didn't have a knob on the driver window. Had to put the truck in park, climb over to the passenger door to roll down the window to hear the man direct me into the space. The truck smelled like it was burning. I tried to call, but I rented so close to closing. AGAIN, I will write thee most negative review for you ppl. I promise. Your business has no moral compass concerning your customers, and your employees, unwritten fees, and the lack of gaf from your employees is just down right appalling. I will never again. ON MY DEAD MOM!!!

Corie KingWhen arrived I was told the lock would be in the unit, but that was not the case. I had to go and physically get a lock from the front office leaving my belongings unsecured. When trying to close the unit door it kept getting caught on a metal piece sticking out. It took me a while to close the door. So not a smooth move-in. Booking the unit was the smoothest process.

A gentleman greeted me as I pulled the truck up, and inspected/checked in the truck very quickly. I had a receipt in my inbox and a he wished us a good evening. In all, my return took maybe 3 minutes! Thank you for an awesome exlerience!
Tim BrockSAFETY ISSUE There was no seatbelt for the passenger. The shorter strap had fallen back below the seats and we could not get it back up to use. My wife had to travel with no seat belt. VERY VERY BAD. GET THIS FIXED!
Frank RudowskiWhat was said to be an hour install took four and a half hours. I was the only car in the shop getting a hitch installed. Neither of the counter staff or the manager provided any update or even said a single word the entire time that I was there. No seat was even offered until an ex-employee took one out of the break room for me. I asked the manager for status. She went to the garage area and got the tech who said it was taking a long time because there was a lot of dirt on the bottom of the car. When the job was done the tech that did the install said it was because the instruction book gave incorrect installation instructions.
Edward DyeI have the comments above because the equipment was as it should be. But in regards to winter weather the equipment should have been prepped better. I gave a time I was to be there so I thought the vehicle would be warmed up and ready. The roll up door was iced and frozen to the deck. The handle latch and release were both frozen and the slide out ramp was also frozen. We struggled in the single digit weather to get this stuff to function. As we had no tools to assist us. Lucky for myself the forklift driver assisted us to help get the door and ramp freed from its icy grip. So I think it would be nice if some stuff was prepped when we have such issues with weather. All else was good as U-Haul normally is.

Garnet PalmerPicked truck up and used it for roughly two hours. Drove it a total of nine miles. I was charged $78 dollars for eight gallons of gas . So, the truck I rented gets one mile per gallon? I'll never rent a truck here again! What should have cost me $59 actually cost $137 for a two hour and nine mile rental! This business practice is criminal and they should be looked into!

Check to make sure the system actually works instead of having customers banging on the window while the staff ignores us for 10 mins then come to see what the issue is. Then after we propped the door open to finish moving our things the only solution was to come and see a manager when it's their system.
SHAWNTANIQUE CAP JACKSONFirst vehicle provided to me had an oil pressure problem before I even left the lot. The garage kept jumping from normal to zero. The location was able to provide me with a different vehicle. The most annoying problem was that I had to go back inside 2 more times to talk to someone about getting a new link for the pre-rental inspection because the original link was for the first vehicle. 2nd vehicle was fine without any problems. My experience was neither below nor above my expectations. I will be back if I have any future U-Haul needs.

I walked in and there was a young girl with headphones on just sitting over to the side and I stood there for awhile never acknowledged me. A very nice gentleman came in from the back and greeted me right away. Dark hair tall. Didn't get his name unfortunately. Very nice. As for my storage, nice space floor were pretty clean. I was very pleased with them the first 1 years I had my storage. Prolice was great. 2 yr Price increased no biggie., bound to happen. 3 yr price increased majorly. Went from 130. To 180. Not happy. I had gone into my unit and noticed things were chewed went up spoke to dawn the manager and she gave me the number to call the insurance. I took my own pictures since no one came to look at my damage. I'm telling you, the process was a bunch of crap. 2 months later they are asking me for more pictures. Well, at this point I had started to throw things away and well, guess what the pictures were not good enough they wanted more. And wanted the manager to come look at the unit 3 months later?? Seriously. So if you ever make a claim MAKE THR MANAGER COME LOOK. Such bs. This place is so high in price and most of the staff could care less about helping you. There are a few that are great. Everytime I went in there always a different face. Anyway, needless to say the facility itself was ok and maintained. But price increases were way to much. 4 yrs later I'm paying 195 for 10×10 and not even climate control. So I moved to a different place in climate control and paying 102 a month. Good luck, shop around.

The gentleman at counter (the manager) was so helpful and reverse the charge. I returned the card and lock back to him. So appreciated. GOD is good and uhaul is too. The hired movers moved me in the storage fast but only showed at the other end of my move the next day causing me to miss my bus out of town and had to spend the night in the U-Haul; I'm a person with a disability. Nevertheless when they arrived they worked quickly. I could not move anything because of my health. I'm grateful for that. Initially I was going to drive to my state of relocation for what I paid it might have been cost effective.

One of the agent got things in order for me and I was very impressed with her ability to handle the manner. However, because of the mix up, I had to use another credit card. The floor I used was also temperature controlled which was a plus. Definitely a safe place for your belongings. A sufficient amount of cameras as well I might add. Would definitely recommend.

I was supposed to get a free lock for my unit by reserving online. It said the lock would be inside my unit. No lock. I had to leave and run to Walmart for a lock instead. They gave me one month of free storage and move me to another unit. Also refunded my storage fee. I'm still waiting on it to hit my account but I'm sure I will, also my truck was turned back in late due to the fact that other people moving in we're parked really crazy in the parking lot so I had nowhere to pull in and park to allow but once again, U-Haul did a great job with extending my hours, so that I won't be charged for late fees or anything I appreciate them I've had experience with Taylor Uhaul in the past that wasn't so great but I may tell you 2023 is awesome because they're doing a great job. Thank you U-Haul and employees of Taylor.

When I first moved items into the storage units, they were both very clean. My most recent experience with them involved renting a storage room for home goods I was giving to family I have in Marion, OH and in Traverse City, MI. Being able to store items at the same location I could rent a trailer for moving these home goods was a game changer. The storage area was very secure and clean. Plus, the friendly staff were extremely helpful and effective in all of our business transactions. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service they provided me. When a worker had walked me to the unit I paid him an extra $10 to remove the one nightstand I left there because I didn't know where to throw it out. And I was told I still had stuff in there and it took new management to walk up there 8 months later (which thank goodness I kept paperwork showing I paid my bill and I was out in January) to walk up there and realize I really was out and to stop charging me and sending me Lien notices and phone calls

The main person I worked with (Her name escapes me) I had worked with before and she is extremely slow and seems like she does not want to be there. She said she had a headache, but I remember her being this way when I got a truck rental there before. The process is archaic. For my contact info, I needed to give 2 phone numbers to reach me. No one has a house phone anymore so I gave my boyfriend's cell phone number. Then I was told I needed a secondary contact, so I use his name and told her it's the same phone number I just gave. I'm then told I cannot have the same phone numbers, so I changed my second phone number to my dad, then needed to give my boyfriends address which was the same as mine and that wasn't allowed. I had reserved a unit ahead of time thinking it would cut back my time, it took me literally 30 minutes to go through this process in person... it was extremely frustrating.
