We brought the truck back after hours and the WIFI in Taylor is horrible. I couldn't upload the pictures that the I haul company needed. So because of that, I was charged an extra 20.00 and was not told that I would have to pay a 20.00 fee for someone to look at the truck the next day. I will never use Uhaul again. If I brought the truck back during the day, I wouldn't of been charged 20.00 for someone to look at it.
Everyone was great but our truck was super old and rough to drive. It did the job though and service was very good.
I was told when I called to make sure the trailer was scheduled I would get a discount because the person when I called a week prior didn't actually schedule my pickup. I never got the discount or even was offered one. The trailer had issues while I had it I wanted to drop it off at another U-haul because it had issues and they wouldn't let me. Thankfully it didn't cause any damage to my truck.
This is NOT FOR THIS LOCATION. But a review for the experience as a whole. I was a uhaul employee for 3 years and only saw the service side of uhauls terrible scheduling system. After being rescheduled 3 times in one day, and my final location not having my equipment, I finally understand the years of customer frustration, and it has pushed me to buy my own trailer. Will never use uhaul again. Thanks to the OUTSTANDING team at the Taylor MI location, they stayed open late for me to come and get a trailer they had just got in. The trailer was an older model orange AT, not a newer silver model, and the higher retaining rails and license plate mount hit my car as I was loading it up. One of the wheels was also off camber but it did the job. Needs to be retired for a newer model.
I did not like the after hour check in process
the last 2 times I have rented using the app, when I get to the location the vehicles are not available. The location has both time provided me with acceptable alternatives (I was more happy with the different van I got this time than the 10ft box truck I got last time instead of a pickup - but the pickup was wrecked by the previous renter I was told).
Service was great. The trucks door kept getting stuck and required lots of work to close

The people in the store was nice and clean but the trucks are absolutely horrible the right the way it sounds the way it grows better maintenance is needed
I reserved online, when I arrived they had to re ask all the same questions I already answered during online reservations. I scheduled a 9a pick up, the van was not ready they still had to get it ready- clean and so on. What's the point of doing online reservations when it doesn't save you any time
My original location of pick up was not at Taylor. I placed the order online - it seems that the system was not up to date with the equipment availability. Therefore, I was routed to the Taylor location. Upon pick up, the vehicle reeked of cigarette smell. My order included moving supplies, when I asked if I could pick them up from the Taylor location, I was told I had to pick them up from the original location where I placed the online order (2 twin mattress covers). Once I arrived at the original Uhaul location, they told me they cancelled my order because they assumed I would be retrieving the items from the Taylor location. Thus, I had to repurchase what I ordered. This caused a bit of an inconvenience for me, needing to travelling to 2 different UHaul locations.
I don't think this survey was very useful. You should ask questions about uhaul corporate.
Fix the app! Every time I signed in there was a problem with it loading. I'd get a green drop down bar that says sign in was successful and yet the app wouldn't load properly. Also, for no contact pickup the renter dolly's and pads could be placed in the back of the truck and the key locked IN the truck with a combination lock given to you on the app once you arrive. My pickup time was changed from my reservation time with no notice to me until I attempted to do the online check in. So the truck I reserved, 26 ft, for pick up at 4 pm for 18 hours was not available until 5:15pm. The staff tried to tell my wife that pickup time change cannot be done without contact which was untrue as neither me nor my wife were contacted. Instead, I received a 17 ft truck at my 4 o'clock pickup time. Thankfully, truck did the job, but was just a very big inconvenience leading up to it. The truck was also not swept out before I received it. Overall very unhappy with the lack of communication and customer service with this location. Will definitely be using another company the next time I'm in need of a moving truck.

Only location I rent from. Everyone is very friendly and know exactly what to do about any situation that may arise.
Trucks were not clean, Also I ordered and paid for a dolly and 2 dozen moving blankets that were not in ether truck. I called about the missing Equipment and they said they would look into it and never called me back.
I initially made a reservation for the Woodhaven location and when I went there I was told that I received a call about the truck not being available which I never received a call. I called the representative at this number 7347218611 and she told me I had no reservation and that the truck wasn't available anywhere. So I was fed up and cancelled my reservation which is weird because how can I cancel a reservation that your representative said I didn't have? Taylor location was great but the representative from the phone number I listed was argumentative and not helpful.
We use this location whenever I need to haul something!
train some of the staff, especially the ones pulling up the trucks to customers to not be so impolite to customers when asked questions regarding the truck such as cleanliness and review of the trucks damages marked by an x when applicable.
