The 2 ladies at the front desk was awesome
Cayre JI had reservation for 9am but the lady was about 10 minutes late to open facility plus the system was down which made it difficult for me. Try to reserve another location but the app was still not working properly after some time system was up and she was very quick and helpful with my reservation

KANDA YBe aware that sweeping out the rental will NOT prevent the $25 cleaning fee. The signs posted SAY you can sweep it out to avoid the fee. This was not correct.
Linda GI was charged incorrectly for miles and gas I never used. I was incorrectly checked out and checked in. I returned and picked up my uhaul on march 29th. I didn't receive a contract, a check in email, and a check out email until 9am March 30th. On March 30th they checked me in manually at between 9:00am -9:30am and checked me out before 9:45 am that same Day. Then had a nerve to say that I drove 71 miles extra and used 7/8ths of the tank. I didn't even receive the U-Haul at a half a tank. It was less than a half of tank when I picked it up and I have pictures to prove it. I didn't drive 71 miles. I drove only 38 miles and barely used a quarter of tank of gas. I need a refund for those additional charges as soon as possible.

LINDA A | Expérience généraleLot is a little confined for trailer operations. Reorganize the lot some so the trailers are easier to get out. A person that is a novice at trailering will have an extremely difficult time. Luckily I have a lot of experience.
Eric BI called the particular location that I was renting through instead of using that because the last time I rented a truck from they didn't have the size I was looking for when I went that day so this time I made sure to call that particular place to run a 9 foot van. When I got there, they didn't have any and I was stopped driving to Fenwick two hours away and back With a box truck, I was uncomfortable driving. because this is the second time, this is happened at this location. I will not go back to the Wilmington governor Prince location, and I will think twice before even using U-Haul in general.

William JI called customer service the day I picked up the equipment to record a complaint. The truck was parked two blocks away from the location, with no instruction on where to find it. My wife had to drive me around the area to locate the truck. The street it was parked on did not appear to be a safe or nice area to leave a truck. I quickly got in and drove off. Little to my knowledge, the back door was not latched and I had to pull over and safely secure the door. Upon approaching the back of the truck, I saw the cargo area was a complete mess. I took pictures for your reference. It took me over a half hour to clean it out. The overall experience was not acceptable.

So'nya JI would get honest employees. I rented your truck and and as a nice gesture, I filled up more gas than I got When I returned it. I was totally surprised when I was charged a cleaning fee of $25 for a truck that was swept clean before returning. That is unprofessional conduct, just to make additional money for no justified reason.

Bridget PI placed my reservation 2 weeks before my move in date to my new address and was not notified of a computer issue until I arrived to the location the doors were locked and I waited for 30 minutes before a staff member let customers know the issue with the computer system. Communication is key for good customer service and that wasn't me experience
Tuesday FTruck had an odor and was dirty on the inside. Also truck seems to need a wheel alignment and it had some hesitation.

Robert SThe truck worked fine, however there is an exhaust leak in the vehicle. We drove from Wilmington, DE to Queens, NYC and back. We had to have the windows open the entire journey as the smell of exhaust inside the cab was overwhelming. Both my wife and myself had carbon monoxide headaches when we arrived home. Normally we never get headaches, but we did that day due to the exhaust inside the cabin

Then i called customer service waitied one hour for someone to pick up just to tell me speak with someone on site. When i did so, the guy opened the door fro me and told me to use someone to keep the door open as my code was not working. Not to mention, i was told to come back the next day to receive my free lock. further more, there was a lock on my storage and i also could not access my storage. it was ridiculous and the service was terrible!!!! it feels like you guys only care about the money

NY need to send people to a viable clean storage maybe outsource if their facility is not up to par in the connecting place people are renting or storing I was there less than 25 days got my free month and went to A CLEAN NEWER COMPANY...TOO MANY GAMES , JOKES, UNPROFESSIONAL WITH MOVERS..., AND THEY COST ME AN EXTRA DAY WITH THE TRUCK BECAUSE THE MOVERS FIRST SAID THEY COULD COME THEN CALLED AND SAID CAN THEY CIME 2 HOURS EARLIER ...I SAID NO....WE WERE ALREADY BOOKED. I ENDED UP GETTING Another MOVING Company THRU U HAUL, who came with $80.per hour. And later turned out to be just like U haul...too many word games with the people ..this day and time...people are educated and, for me I will make a better choice next time...there are SO MANY Other COMPANIES...Penske, HOME DEPOT...ETC ..JUST TO NAME A FEW....THE truck was FUNE...but the service was the pits.....

Por otro lado cuando entregaron el storage no me pidieron que dejara un código de seguridad y estaba totalmente sucio, ya que en la página tienen información incorrecta, en el lugar no tienen los storage disponibles que hay en línea.
Lina M | Expérience généraleTook me over an hour to get into my unit and had to be switched 3 times because they originally tried to put me in a mouse droppings infested, very smelly unit. The second unit they tried to put me in didn't have a working lock so I was switched yet again. Even after physically switching, no one switched me in the system so my code didn't work for a day. I also had to waste time and come inside to basically re-do my rental process when I had already did it online.

I was informed on arrival that just because I had a reservation it did not mean I had a reservation and no storage units were available. I encountered significant penalties having to find other storage units and U haul then hit me with fees for late drop off and over mileage. My intent is to pursue court action for breach of contract and recovery of costs .

My bags & boxes were eaten open by rodents. Dead mice were in the hallways as well as flies. This isn't the 1st time either. I've used them three times & each time was reassured the problem was under control but it wasn't. I only used them 4 the price but I paid the real price.
