Van smelled like cigarettes even though it says no smoking, trash was in the back, no windshield wiper fluid, tire pressure sensor malfunction on passenger side front tire, and a check engine light on at 11k miles. Not good.

Equipment reserved was not available forcing me to purchase the items as that was all that was available, floor Dollie's. The vehicle was not positioned and ready to drive out. No checking if the safety features of the unit, ie lights. Little attention to detail or customer experience.

Tell them to get the actual rate at the counter. She told me it was $79 and I get charged $158,99!! You don't show the contract at the counter, you email it and who is going to look at their email in the 30 seconds between the counter and the van. Will not ever use y'all again.

For the money that's paid to rent a Uhaul, a customer should never receive it as filthy as the truck I received on yesterday. The customer service was in between unprofessional and ghetto. I purchased a dolly and instead of it being put on the truck properly it was thrown on it and slid around the truck as I drove.

What a terrible people at jackson mississippi are. The charged me 3 days rather than 1 day 12 hours. because i booked truck for 4 hours and ut took be 12 hours what a bullshit. The paper they gave me i can easily file a lawsuite how can it be 3 days in 12 hours ?

The lady that we picked up the rental with was a little curt. We had to buy a dolly because they didn't have any available. The plug in inside the uhaul cab was disconnected.

I booked online on 2/24/24 and was told to be there @ 12:00 pm. When I got there, I was told that they wouldn't have anything until Monday. Not knowing that there was a man behind me returning a truck, I was about to leave. I ran into an old friend and started talking. Just as I was leaving, she yelled that she now had a truck. She could have told me that she was waiting on a return. I almost left without my truck because she didn't let me know exactly what was going on!

Make two things absolutely clear to the customer looking for a one-way one day rental, that they are going to be charged for two days regardless. and that they need to be sure the drop off location will still be open when they are through with the rental. I was very surprised to find out that it is U-Haul policy to charge for two days regardless. and I also came to realize the drop off location closed at 5 instead of 9 or 10.

Overall it was good. I just wouldn't recommend due to the location as it is not in the safest part of town. Secondly, neither Google nor Apple Maps has it in the correct location.

This was not the location I made my reservation at. I went to that location and was told my reservation had been moved to this location. This was news to me - I had not been informed of this change. The staff here was not particularly helpful or courteous. (the same was true at the East Highway 80 location as well).

Please just don't give anyone a rental that was not road ready. The check engine light stated on the hold time,low air pressure, transmission was slipping, and the door felt like it was gonna pop open everytime . Door kept shaking the hold time. That's why I was late getting it back before the closing time but I didn't make it. If you want everyone to report issues with the truck before someone get the truck then the staff should have not put me in that truck. Bad service

Our storage was broken into and we took a great loss on several items, the facility took no responsibility. There are no lights in the storage or Hall ways. My homeowners policy should never have been placed on storage unit because I asked for coverage from Uhaul specifically. This was a horrible experience

Alicia was impressive with her ability to efficiently handle two transactions simultaneously. I must also note that she handled a trailer rental trans action for my cousin over the preceeding weekend and impressed my cousin with her helpful, friendly attitude. My cousin's recommendation and comments about Alicia were the reason I chose this U-haul location. Please ensure she hears about these positive comments.

Staff was rude and very unprofessional. Shae and a new staff me that can cam in a lil later.. She acted as if I was bother her when asking her. Question.. I was over 45 minutes in a hot storage unit that was suppose to be temperature controlled with my 3 year old daughter. It was 100.degrees in there. Im very displeased because I'm have been playing for a tempature controlled unit.. I have to reach out to customer service .. Because no ever came to remove the lock that was placed on the unit because my payment was late . The rep . Trying calling several time no one answer his calls either . My Some of my property is broken, Has mold, roach droppings and spider webs on it .. but the policy states that it's pest control. I still unboxing my things but needless to say I am very displeased

The staff can be a little more forthcoming when they know they are having issues that can be problematic for you. For one the passcode computer reader was not working so I could access my unit, and when I tired to communicate with the staff non would respond. There was this whole ordeal that I had to figure out myself, and when I brought it to thier attention they was aware just failed to inform me which could have save me a lot of drama and time.

Your Staff was very unprofessional. We walked into the store , the staff was very unfriendly and did not even greet us. We had to ask all of the questions rather than them explaining the process and asking us if we had questions. The guy who showed us where the storage was located walked off and left us and did not go all the way , and he stood and pointed which was very confusing with it being such a long hall it was hard to see. He did not even have the common courtesy to say thank you we actually were the ones to thank him. Moving within itself is very exhausting and it is very frustrating when you have unprofessional people like these working in your establishment. Just an overall bad experience.

The unit I had at U-Haul (#126) did not have any lighting in it, so I always had to bring my big flashlight with me.

Only thing I don't like is Customers are forced to purchase locks. I have several storage locks. Spending unnecessary money for an item I will never need anymore is discouraging and if I require storage in the future I will utilize a facility that allows customer owned locks.

Staff was very nice but when I called to pay on my unit …. My card number was taken and no payment was made on my storage unit …. I received a email weeks later stating my payment was late and a fee was added …. Nice gentlemen took off the late fee due to my first payment not being processed and I was able to pay my regular balance and he also made sure to email a receipt while I was still on the line thank you for your great customer service

The staff was rude at this location. After a yr of using the Gibraltar site I couldn't do 2 months here. They were so awful to me that when Carmen was closing me out she brought it up. "I know you've had a hard time and it seemed it was on purpose but it wasn't". YES IT WAS. I'm out of there. Now just PTSD to deal with; I cry when I think of that location.

I had made reservations for a storage unit when I got there I was on a long line with only one clerk. I had movers waiting so I lost over $200 and no one at u-haul seem to care. The unit I was shown was not what i got. Instead I was given a much smaller unit than expected and of course I had to pay more for a larger unit. I will never use this facility again - ever!! Poor service staff with bad attitude no connection between staff and customer!!

I have used this facility before and didn't have a problem. Unfortunately this was not one of those times. There was a leak in my storage unit and most of my belongings were ruined!!!!!!! The unit reeked of Mildew. Mold covered my furniture, luggage, shoes,and clothes it was awful!!!!! The staff at the location just gave me a number to call and said they have nothing to do with insurance claims!!!! There was no empathy or compassion, shown toward me, It actually could have helped me feel a little better about the situation, but, I guess it's still just business as usual for them. Now, it's not their fault my unit leaked, however, I will NEVER use uhaul again!!!!! On top of that, I had to get someone to haul all my ruined belongings to a dumpster for disposal.

Overall I was glad that I chose U-Haul this time to store my belongings for about the past 6 months........the people at this U-Haul were nice though at times they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, especially on Saturday mornings.....maybe a part time person should be brought in to help out at busy times.(?)

Only thing I didn't like he's being charged when you cook can't even make it to the destination and I and then when it ain't your fault when you don't make it to your destination you got to be charged for something or whatever and then when it's not even a person's fault I mean that shouldn't even be right now I can see if it was the person's fault that they couldn't make it but no it wasn't if it ain't the person's fault they still have to be charged for nothing

The facility was dirty. The gentlemen that helped us was in NO hurry whatsoever. I had a deadline and he could have cared less. He told me the system was down so my access card would not work so he would have to walk down there to let me in. However, he then started helping someone else so I had to wait about 10 more minutes for him to finish that. The whole experience left a lot to be desired. I called in ahead of time and was told I was good, when I got there he had a million questions, many of which I thought were totally unneccessary. However if they were necessary, I wish I could have done that over the phone when I called. It would have saved me a lot of time. I have had a lot of experience with U-haul and most were very good but this was extremely poor.
