I got charged for miles on what I thought it was for the day it went from 120 or less to 200 $becouse apparently I went over the milage did I rent it by the milage or day and if is by the milage why I had to pay for the gas this company is a scam I would not recommend it

juan R.I made a reservation over the phone, I was looking for a trailer. This location was the closest to my house. My reservation was scheduled for 1pm got to the location and it was closed. For some reason this place is closed from 1pm-2pm. I rescheduled my reservation for 2pm, came back on the dot and still was closed. Lady arrived 15-20min past 2pm, really slow worker, i won't waste my time coming here again. Save yourself a headache
Abel V.Had to wait 1 hour after I checked in due to no metal furniture dollies were kept at this location (even though they were listed on the website and I had them reserved). This forced me to buy two wood Dollies for $40.00. Drove 15 foot truck for about 25 miles and needed to purchase 6 gallons of gas to return fuel gauge to original position. Worst rental experience I have ever had with U-Haul.

Shellee D.There was a person there who was not educated in the slightest of courtesy. All I needed was my keys as I was picking up my rental off my mobile device and the U-haul ap. She said she was not familiar with it and there was no record of my reservation. In the end she found it and went to scold me for not telling her earlier that all I needed was the keys. This all wasted 39 minutes of my rental time. 30 minutes prior to my return time, the location was calling me multiply as to where I was at. Including when I was back at the site to return my rental. I had to tell the unidentfied male three times that Imwas already at the location dropping off the rental and their phone call was interfering with my arival pricedures on my ap as it was on my phone. I have never had a negative experience at uhaul until today. Mind you I have used u-haul for 35 years. I isenu-haul as my grand parents & parents used it and I recognize it as a brand to be loyal to. I chose this location as it is a corporate location and not a franchise. The employee who's name I don't know has pink hair and nose pirecings. It only takes one experience to ruin your reputation. I strongly suggest you comprehensively train this person. But in my opinion she should be terminated. Simultaneuosly, her male co-worker who also was on duty was also providing poor service as the customers (2 separate) were voicing their displeasure with the customer service they were receiving. They wanna charge me labor to remove it and I try to tell him that I don't want the hitch. I want to hit gone from my truck. I went three times to the facility to get it removed and they were very rude to me and the and Lety the manager there told me to go to days to go get it removed. She never told me there was going to be a labor cost for getting it removed until the day I took it in and they called me and I told him why are you charging me to get it removed when I didn't approve the installation Please call me back at my personal number 925-338-6074

Marcelina B.This location on Wilson Way in Stockton is a legit U-Haul location, and was also my original drop-off location from my reservation. The computer at the Kansas Ave location in Modesto did not find it, even though I had my reservation receipt via email. The location I was forced to pick led to a convenience store in a bad part of town, not an official U-Haul location at 1788 Cherokee Rd, Stockton. I felt very unsafe and lost. The convenience store cashier told me the U-Haul was down the street and around the corner, which ultimately was the original Wilson Way location. I recommend that U-Haul investigate and verify all locations found in the system before something bad happens to someone who was misled by U-Haul officially.

Ernesto C.just got my hitch installed today 05/18/2023. technicians told me my splash guard cannot be install back due to hitch. got home watch some UHAUL installation video and found out that they don't need to remove the splash guard. now my gas tank and some other electrical wirings are expose which is dangerous cause my car is really low ( toyota prius 2012 ). please help me i need to get it fix i use this car for my livelyhood to provide formmy family.
