Alejandro GonzalezNo issue, but they should have one driveway for inbound and one for outbound traffic, no a combined driveway. I had a hard time to get out of the place.
Paul NEUVILLEThe app is absolutely horrible. I wasn't able to use it for pickup, and had to do the return process three times because it kept resetting. It was freezing and raining, and I had to keep running around in the rain taking pictures of the truck.

Maryellen RayaWhoever rented the van before I did had a dirty dog on the car seat. The van stunk and there were dog hairs on the passenger seat. Apparently, none of your employees noticed it. After a few hours in your vehicle, my clothes started to smell like a gross dirty dog. That was not cool.
Norman AnubThe overall experience was easy and convenient. The Equipment was clean and ready for use, but the gas gauge failed to read properly. The gauge remained on "E" from the second day of use onward. Being unable to determine the proper fuel level cost me more than $112 for 20 gallons of fuel for having driven less that 150 miles. Not happy. The team at the center was fantastic in their understanding of my situation.
VIncent VerretThis is second time renting the 5x8 covered trailer. The first was newer and had more hooks inside. Plus had a door ramp. The second one did not have ramp.

gabriel lopezThe tie down strap for one wheel on the tow dolly was ripped more than halfway theiguh. I couldn't believe they were going to let it go out that way. Huge safety factor. I made them install a new strap before I accepted the rental. What a joke.

John HeffernanI probably wouldn't suggest U-Haul to anyone after my latest experience which was horrendous, abysmal, uncaring, alarming, dreadful, demoralizing, disturbing, troubling, and unnerving. But as shown me by my recent experience U-Haul doesn't care and this review means nothing to the corporation. It won't even get a response.
Gary BrunclikThe service, and the trailer I rented were excellent. However, they desperately need to work on the east side of the lot. The potholes were big enough they had to put pylons in them. I'm just glad I was driving a truck.

John DiLoretoWell, worst experience ever. Reserved a tow dolly for 6 hours. Arrived to pick it up at 7am. Did paperwork and then some alert popped up and said can't rent to me. Associate said I probably had a late fee. I said no, never returned anything late and also, you pay when returning so if there was it would have been taken then. Had me call the number. On hold for 53 minutes, then says sorry call back later and hangs up. Called again, wait time going to be 90 minutes. I then opted for the call back option. Says wait time 15 minutes. Wtf, call backs take priority over people waiting on hold??? Finally get a call back, rep doesn't believe I was on hold that long. Well, I was. She told me the alert was put in because the emergency contact person had some problem with their account. So I am punished for something someone else did? My account was clean. Anyway, it is now 8 am and been at location for 2 hours. Tell associate alert is clear and now can rent. Tells me he has to go hook up equipment and someone will be with me. Waited for the other associates to help everyone else. Finally get to me again. Tells me I have to return it by 1pm. I said I have 4 hours of driving . He says, well you have to have it back by 1. I said I reserved it for 6 hours. He said yes you only rented six hours at 7am pick up. Well, you guys wasted 2 hours of it. Any, I got it rushed like hell and brought it back. No one was mean or anything, but everyone just didn't seem to give a crap. Was pretty much my problem and they could care less. Example, while I was on hold for so long in the store, the associate not once says, wow still on hold and apologize. That's what I would of done. No theys just talk and laugh with each other and pretend I am invisible. Whole experience sucked. I rented stuff before and all have been good. This time it was beyond bad!!

Andy Limtighten up the steering on the truck, it has play that requires constant adjustments. Might check the brakes, don't know if it could handle a panic stop. And the lights!!!! Good God! Drive that sucker down I5 at night in the rain, and then do what's right!

DOLORES HILLSent to curtner after alameda didn't have my equipment despite guarantee. At pickup curtner wasn't busy and I was able to get what I needed. At dropoff the line was insane (luckily I could just drop and run). Also annoyed that I couldn't drop equipment off at my destination.

Chris CoakleyThere is a giant problem there. The propane filling station in the last two time I have been there only one person is working. The manager has scheduled badly and is NOT there to cover his errors. Then some guy comes in with 10 propane tanks. And Noone is served for 40 minutes. The first rime this happened we were trying to take the trailer back and the app was not working on the site so we had to wait. 3 other people also were there and one guy wanted to buy tape so he just took the tape and left cash on the counter. Today at 8 30 am 7 people were waiting to check out there rentals and it took over 15 minutes. One guy who rents regularly like I complained this is the worst song with Redwood city. Daniel needs to start prioritizing his customers for the core business. And stop trying to grad extra money from propane and pods because I might need to switch to a different location for pick up..In plain business terms to grab small cash for your business you cost core customers their time which totaled 3 5 hours 1st incident and second. So in essence for me it was a 250 in time lost in wages a d my time to be kept waiting because your business is not being managed properly. I may not be able to afford to do business with your company as it is too costly. Very negligent and inconsiderate.

Mark HancockI've always been lucky having a very smooth transaction here I come by throughout the year as a repeat customer as I often rent a motorcycle trailer They are quick friendly and transaction is easy and they ALWAYS have a trailer! The location at The Alameda is the one I used to go to as it's closer but transaction there have been very slow and it's hit or miss if they have a trailer available
RONALD VALENZUELAThere are so much things need to be improved!! 1. My uboxes arrived late. Actually it arrived on the predicted day, but the received location updated status on the next day, which made us can only arrange the delivery the day after that. 2. The delivery process should be improved. Before they sent out 2 boxes, I received 3 phone calls asked me to confirm the shipment. It seemed they didn't have an efficient communication system. Also the shipping status didn't update on time until I contacted U-Haul support. 3. After all move-out process has finished. The uhaul location didn't update to finished status until one month later! The first time I contacted uhaul message support said I still saw storage account on the website and they asked me to pay fees. The lady said she only needed to cancel my auto-pay even though I confirmed with her if I have finished all step. It was a wrong solution. I think some employees may need more training. 4. After 3 weeks I found the storage account and due payment were still there. The most weird thing is the storage location was changed to Atalanta state which is totally different with my San Jose location. After several round phone transfers thank goodness I finished got contacted to the place. Thank you so much for all employees that finally help me cancel the account. But they also found there's a different email address has linked to my order which I didn't recognize. 5. The receipts are disordered. I received four $0 receipts and can see two more $109 finished order online which I don't know. It seems no charge on my bank card though, but still confused. 6. The best part is for the moving help companies. Both of them are super efficient and helpful. Merci.
