Little better understand by corporate and offer customer free extra days when customer calls service call center ahead of return date stating problems on destination end and customer cannot get truck empty and returned by contract date. Extra costs will make a big dent in moving budget when customer has no control of plan changes with a full truck and no home to get into for a few extra days.

renne K.The appliance dolly was broken and was of no use. However they charged it anyway. I also noted later they charged me for two days rental on it even though I rented it for 1. Finally, spent 30 min trying to refund a few of my items only to be told I needed the paper receipt, not the digital receipt on their site. Other than that silliness, everything else was as expected.

Matt C.U-Haul directed me to return my one-way rental truck at a location that ended up being closed. How does this happen??? There was also no key drop box so I wasn't comfortable leaving the truck unattended with keys inside. I called this Deer Park location (the only one open nearby) and they agreed to receive my truck with no extra charges since the issue was not my fault. The manager was extremely helpful and understanding. Job well done!

Diane D.I originally had a truck booked for the same location as my storage unit. Without telling me, no phone call from a representative, my pickup location was changed to 16 miles in the opposite direction from my house and storage unit. Basically wasted my time (and money because I had to pay for the additional miles and gas) just driving around when we should have been moving. We have a 13 month old so complicating the process was disappointing. Penske messed up a reservation location in the past and offered a 20 % discount. Uhaul basically just knows you are stuck with them and the circumstances the day of so they didn't care.

CANDACE D. | Premières impressionsThe staff acted clueless about there job they were not proficient at all and not friendly I felt more of a burden to them then a customer. At one point they even tried to pawn me off to another dealer that was further up the road the facility was also cramped and with a truck and trailer it was incredibly cramped in the parking lot I feel the space could have been used a lot better the uhaul up in evans mills NY where I picked up the trailer was much more pleasant to deal with. Thanks and I hope things improve with this site
