when getting pricing it is very invasive to have to give credit card information before being told the cost or even availability. I will never use U-haul again unless it is the last resort due to this company policy. secondly I rented a auto-transporter(Full car hauler not the dolly) and was told most people need them for 6 hours so they put that in as the reservation and then instructed me that if I was going to use it more than 6 hours please call and extend the usage. I used the unit for 2,5 hours return the unit and then due to dealer pricing to fix the vehicle needed to go pick it up and check to see if I could re-rent the unit since I was still with in my 6 hours. not only was I told that since I took it back I would have to set up and rent it again I also found that the price for the unit was the same for 24 hours not just the 6 hours. if this information was shared I would not of rushed it back and would have handled my time much differently. I appreciate the fact that your company sends these surveys but I'm sure you are the same as every big firm and will do nothing with this information as you already got my money. your truly, Jason Boelke 602.859.5919JASON B.

I went to the pickup location at 7,3 AM, but I was told there were no trucks in that location (despite I could see several parked outside). The customer support could not find them on the system. So I had to drive all the way to another location to pick up the truck. Wasted 90 minutes of my working day just dealing with that.THUSHARA H.

the van was the filthiest vehicle I have rented in my life. Dog hair on the seats, sticky steering wheel, dirty windshield, rear view mirror and side view mirrors! Had to disinfect myself! I made the reservation many days in advance but when I got there, my information was not in the computer!Arlene H.
Truck had broken upper cab marker light with wire hanging out. Wasn't offered option to do walk thru when dropped off truck and was subsequently charged for gas AFTER I had already put gas in myself!!! NOT an ok business practice!! I will be seeking reimbursement.GRETCHEN C.

I rented a pickup to use for a few days. I didn't notice when I picked up the truck that the top of the tailgate had a huge dent. (The truck was backed up against a fence so I did not walk around it) When I got back to my office the damage was pointed out to me so I drove back to the rental office immediately. They told me they knew about it and no to worry about it. The next day I received a telephone call from someone named Cisco at UHaul and he accused me of doing the damage. I told him that the employees at the Tempe office had told me that they knew who did it and had already had collected for the damage from that person, Needless to say I was not happy about this. I will not forget this when I am looking for rentals in the future.Forrest L.

Not location. Location in Casa Grande off of Pinal. Nowhere to park the vehicle. Had to physically move trailers out of the way. Lady was very nice and let us know when she had to leave the office.SHAWN N.

First and foremost, I told the lady I can pick my vehicle up at 3:15 because I get off work at 2:30 and yet when I went to the location they said I was an hour late and my reservation was at 2:15. So therefor I lost and hour when I paid the money for 24 hours and the guy who helped me originally said if I was two minutes late I would be charged for another 24 hour period whereas the customer service lady said I would only be charged for the 6 hour period and not the 24 period and she also said I could be late 15 minutes and after that I would be charged for that 6 hour period. The guy at the store said nope, two minutes late and I'm gonna charge you. So I called the customer service people and said they messed up but the put the blame on me and said sorry you will only have it for 23 hours then. Very crappy! Eventually some was able to help me get my four hours completed to where I could bring it back at 3pm, thankfully. They I was told so many different stories I have no idea what was real. Very unprofessional, and I have 4 thousand followers on my business. I treat everyone with respect and even do everything for the one person that didn't have a good experience, but there is no one who leaves with a bad experience because I treat everyone kind, equal, and with love. I was treated like trash. You're a horrible company.ANDREW H.

This is one of the biggest U-Haul rentals I have encountered, my experience was great, took less than five minutes to receive my truck. Staff was very courteous and helpful, will use this facility again in the future.Carlos D.

I have been overcharged by several hundreds of dollars by this location and will filing a dispute with my bank. I called 3 different times to extend our rental and even spoke directly with the branch manager and Ellet him know to which I woke up to a threatening phone call about filing theft charges because no notes had been made on my account. I'm furious and will never use another uhaul ever again.SARAH T.

The reason I cannot give this location a higher rating is due to an overcharge. My complaint is I returned my van with more fuel than I received ( I was upset I spent more money than I needed to refuel and had a photo of the fuel gauge to remind me) and I was still charged for 2 gallons. When I called to address the issue it was resolved quickly and professionally, but this overcharge felt shady. In every other way this location was professional and friendly.CAROLINE C.

I was charged a 30 fee for gas when I filled the tank before I drop it off and I had to pay for extra miles because they didn't have the size truck I need at the location that was closest to me. Do better.Gaberielle S.

I would like a call back. The items I was provided were not in good condition and did not work.Nathan S.
This rental was a disaster! I rented the vehicle under contract for from 9/19-10/1. On the morning of 9/27, I looked out and noticed the vehicle I rented was being towed. I immediately approached the person towing it and he said " This vehicle is being towed as I violated the contact". No clue what was going on, the tow truck driver called UHaul and I spoke to someone at the "main office". I was told directly from this person that was VERY nasty. "I have violated the contract, the vehicle is reported as stolen and if I didn't hand over the keys immediately, I was being charged with GRAND THEIFT". He didn't even listen. I handed over the keys and immediately called Tempe AZ location where I rented it from. After a series of conversations, the person realized that there was a mix-up in vehicle numbers and rental agreements in the office and they mixed up my agreement with another one. In the end, my agreement was valid and I did nothing wrong. This was a mess and VERY poorly managed by UHaul.Jack A.
