Don't believe every review that is posted. Check it out for yourself. Before I made a reservation I read the unsettling reviews and didn't find any of those same behaviors when I arrived. I had Kevin who helped me, who was very professional and organized! In and out quickly!

Fuel was not full as stated by uhaul employeee. Fuel line was before the "F". Actual full tank shows beyond the "F". Starting mileage was also understated compared to the actual mileage. Therefore, I was overcharged by 13 miles and charged for the fuel that I did not use. I addressed with the Manager. He was professional, apologized for the errors and compensated me. Therefore, I would use this location again. However, I would check and write down the mileage at the start and address any fuel gauge disparities up front with uhaul before leaving the facility.

We returned the truck at 5:30pm on 12/1/18. One of the employees said that if we were returning a truck, to follow him. So, we did followed him, but as he started to look at the odometer, someone else showed up and was parking a trailer where he did not want it, so he handed me the paperwork back and said he doesn’t have time for this, and to just throw the keys inside and he will check it in. Apparently he never checked it in so I got a call from someone at corporate on Monday asking me when I would be returning it. I explained the situation and she said she would take care of it. A couple days later, I was emailed stating that I owe more money for the late return, and will be turned over to collections if I do not pay it right away. I did everything per the instructions I was given online and in the stores, and due to their incompetence I am being charged? Sorry, I am not paying another cent.

The person that assisted me was incredibly rude. I was contacted by a U-Haul agent after picking up the vehicle and asked if I would be willing to return it to Tempe so it could be serviced. I was told that I would receive a discount on my rental fee. This individual did not add this to the notes in the file, but it was a recorded conversation per U-Haul, so I requested that the recording be reviewed for the conversation. I was told this was not possible and I was going to get a credit for the additional 40 miles from my pick up point to Tempe. So in the end, I was not compensated for my trouble of driving an extra 40 miles and actually cost me money because I had to drive another vehicle across town to be picked up not to count the time involved.

This place charged me way more than what should have been. I was under 30 miles the gas tank was a little over half and I was charged $85!

Both drop off locations said that they had to much inventory and refused to take a trailer. I had to call and speak to a customer service manager and over two hours later I was able to drop it off. Employee was rude and furious that he had to take it.

When I arrived Saturday morning there was a line of about 4-5 people needing to pick up vehicles. There was only one employee on a busy weekend morning. He eventually walked me out the door gave me the keys and basically said the truck should be that way all the way down go find it. The paper I was given said the vehicle’s gas tank was full when it indeed was not. I only drove 17 miles and when I filled up I had to put in over 8 gallons of gas. When I returned the vehicle it was equally as poor of a service as there was only one employee yet again. It was a different man that basically told me to screw off he’s busy and it’ll be an hour or more if I wanted my question answered about receiving some sort of refund for the amount of gas I had to put in. If you want poor quality customer service and to be scammed into filling their gas tanks then this is your place to go.

The man at the counter was extremely rude to everyone that walked through the door that hadn’t made a reservation... He also told everyone that there wasn’t anything available to rent if they didn’t make a reservation... He was turning away all business and was quite rude about it... Thank goodness I had made a reservation the night before

The attendant had a horrible attitude when I was picking up the truck. Then when I dropped it off a different attendant told me the total was 131.00, but it charged me 175.00. I don't understand how a company like this one would do this to long time customers. I am not happy!

JH truck windshield was very dirty, Mirrors were far out of adjustment, steering was loose, suspension was wobbly. Credit: Julian (?) tried to fix the mess the 1st rep (Tom?) made when he rewrote the contract, after the dolly I had reserved could not be provided on Wed.

attendant was on the phone using using foul language. after he told me he was real busy, i could go put away and unhook the trailer myself and he would check it in later. soon after another attendant arrived and helped me out.

The truck seemed ok when I picked it up. When I got to my destination and started unloading the truck it was raining and I figured out that the truck leaked in multiple spots on the inside. Over half my boxes were soaked and water damaged.
