Truck was not cleaned out from previous renter. The car dolly was scorching hot from being in direct sunlight and was burned trying to hook my car up without any help. This location changed my online reservation by removing roadside assistance, without my consent,which I ended up needing. When I tried to use it I was told I did not have it and would be charged $175 for a lockout. After waiting over an hour and a half I was informed they couldn't find anyone to help. I was stranded for over 3 hours and had to pay $125 for a towing company to come out and open the truck. To add insult to injury Uhaul charged me $20 for the after hours call too. Worst experience ever!!

Again, was given a truck that needed maintenance so had to drive 55 miles from new home and back instead of a location 1 mile from New home.

I drive 5 miles and you charged me 2 gallons of gas. $12!! What a rip off!!! I would never recommend you to friends or family. That is criminal!

I was severely overcharged for a 10' rental with insurance and a dolly which was quoted $84 for 40 miles. I went over milage 8 miles which should have been an extra charge of 8*1,65 which is about $10 or $11 more instead I was charged $130 plus another charge of $46! Was asked to drop off in a different (farther away) location because the truck was due for an oil change. I was told I could return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. I returned it with a 3/4 tank and was still charged a 10 gallon fuel fee.

I rented from 7 am and returned at 3:30 pm the same day instead of 6 am the next morning, and I was charged for the full price regardless of the early return. Absolutely ridiculous.

Both manager and assistant manager were extremely rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. Actually, the assistant manager threatened me and asked me to leave the store or he will call the sheriff! and put me on blacklist so I can't rent again from UHaul. Why because. I asked him reasonable questions and it is my right to be answered and respected. I want to open a case for this incident. I can definitely give more details and you can review video recording so you know what happened. I called customer service and that took about 1 hr 12 minutes. During this call, I was transferred about 3 or 4 times between different customer representatives. Every time I ask for direct number for specific department, the answer was “ sorry, I cannot give you number, but I can transfer you”. This is not helpful! On top of that, after wasting 1hr 12 minutes, I got disconnected! What happened with this location is completely different than what I experienced in the last 10 years dealing with UHaul. I really want to talk to a supervisor so we can resolve this. Merci

At the location I was told there were no vans available but I was able to book one online. When I returned it I was charged for refueling even though I did only 6 miles and put one gallon of gas

I ordered a specific pick up time (7:30)am and location. Location was changed at last minute and I was only notified via text. I went to the new location and it was closed until 9am. I called UHaul and they told me I had to go back to the other location after 9am to finish the paperwork even though I completed the on line check in. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend renting from Uhaul EVER!.

I rented a trailer. The salesperson was a hot, knowledgeable, independent young lady who was very hot. The older lady working was very nice and hot too in her own way. They were both great. It's hard to get good service these days especially in the Phoenix area.

The guy there was very rude.. I think overall, U-haul truck could have been way better. The truck didnt have a modern day cabin.. Certain basic features like power windows, cruise control, were missing. It was an old age truck. The steering wheel was NOT stable. The truck always guided to the left.

I asked the employee if she needed anything else from me after dropping the trailer. She said, "No. You're good to go. I'll check it in." Trailer was not properly checked in. Uhaul website showed it still dispatched days after returning. I spent approximately an HOUR on hold with customer service to get this sorted out. NOT HAPPY.

The truck was given to me very dirty. The interior was full of stains which looked decent (liquid stains on the console ). The windshield looked like it was never cleaned and experienced a long trip full of bugs. I wasn't able to clean the windshield throughout my trip as there were too many bug stains . The level of fuel marked initially was incorrect and I needed photographic proof at the end to show the delivery location that it was marked incorrectly, otherwise I would have been charged. The brakes squeeled . There was a dolly randomly thrown in the back which I had not ordered .

Management team needs to be more professional. As i was waiting in line to pick up the car, one of the managers walks out screaming at the employees talking about how they need to be more responsible and that they were $100 short from the night before. I've never experienced anything like this. Finally i had to say” can you guys figure out your money situation later i have my movers waiting for me” Terrible service. Won't be coming here again

I really appreciated the help when I checked in and when I returned the trailer. It has been a really long time since I pulled a trailer and I was very glad the manager check out my car and hitch, then reassured me that the bumping noise was usual and everything was tight. When I returned the trailer, the person was checking in other equipment and noticed me in the queue and came over and checked me in. She helped me unhitch the trailer. She checked out the trailer and approved the return. I will encourage my friends to use U-Haul when they need a trailer or truck.

The lady that I picked up the truck from was amazing but there is a fairly rude guy that had me and a few other customers waiting for 20 to 30 minutes. We were all there just dropping off trucks and he went about parking trailers and trucks. He was pretty dismissive.

So I picked up my trailer at I think 4pm and first of all I showed up and nobody was there for the first 5 to 10 minutes and some dude came from the back door on his phone and slowly walked up to the front desk. I was in a rush but I let it go but once I finally got to the trailer the guy didn't know how to lock the trailer onto the ball. He tried to tell me It looked like it was fully locked in but it was literally just sitting on top of the ball. I ended up figuring out how to get the tongue of the trailer to open up and it to slip over the ball, but had I been someone who might not know any better, the trailer simply would have fallen off over a bump. I also got a block down the road and realized the chains were just dragging on the ground, so I stopped and hooked them up properly and overall the trailer towed fine, but I will hopefully never need to come back to this location and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

More staff needs to be schedule on weekends if at all possible, especially during peak hours. This is the second time in a week that I had to rent a vehicle and only 2 individuals were working. I received good customer service but they needed more help for how busy it was. That said, this is the best location in the East Valley. and I always rent from this location.

Had to pick up truck (2hrs away) at one location. Then pick up auto-transport trailer at another, (4+ hrs round-trip). We returned the auto-transport trailer near our destination (Mesa, AZ). Then U-HAUL grantef us storage at Queen Creek, AZ and required we return truck for maintenance at a different location (Tempe, AZ). All in all we received a $25 discount, which did not even cover fuel costs.

The poor lady who was working by herself had to do EVERYTHING! She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. We had to wait a long time to pickup our trailer because she was the only one, but she did an awesome job. You guys need to give this woman a raise!

I extended rental for two extra days and I got a call from U-Haul (Matt) threatening to call the police on me if I didn't return it. I think the shows a lack of professionalism and a severe dearth internal of communication.

Had to drive 25 minutes away to pick it up since it was switched from our Original Uhaul location less than a mile from our home. The drivers side mirror rear view mirror wouldn't stay in place while drivingâ€"kept loosening up.

Everything was fine and the employees were helpful and friendly. Our only downside was that we had bought a bunch of boxes from uhaul a couple days prior to our reservation and were told they would buy back any unused boxes after our move. What they didn't say was that we needed the receipt even though a couple days later immediately after our move we still had 9 unused boxes, and returned to the store the next day after returning our uhaul rental, only to be told by the same guy who sold us the boxes that he couldn't buy them back without a paper receipt. It was kind of ridiculous and we'd just moved into our new spot and had no space to hold onto unused boxes so we ended up tossing them.
