Although some of the problem was mine, for using your app to rent the truck, the customer service rep at this location was no help at all. The truck we were to use was behind the building warming up. He had us walk the parking area searching for the truck. The only real help we got came from the Tech in the bay; he got us the blankets and dolly that we were suppose to get. He helped us check the truck for damage and marked the already know stuff. The customer rep did nothing.

For the most part the truck was clean. There was something sticky on the middle console that I never got around to wiping down. I was also told by this location that I'd get a [partial refund since I was only using the truck 1 day.

Johnny who set us up with the rental was amazing! Super easy to work with and got us to change our rental from Budget to Uhaul with a price match. When we picked up our rental, Chaz and his crew were also super helpful. They ended up giving us a free upgrade to a 20' truck which made things so much better for us. I would 100% recommend this location and especially Johnny and Chaz. Great guys who know how to take care of a customer with respect and kindness. You should give them a raise or at the minimum a bonus.

Iafter numerous phone calls confirming that I was paying for th ed uhaul for my friend that would be driving, and following their directions to do this online for a Monday pickup at 630pm, my friend went and was refused the truck. The office knew I was doing as doubleshift AZ nd come not physically come in. Went I was able to go in on Tuesfay morning ...I was informed that a policy had changed and he was unaware. We lost 5he ho to move the belongings because of this. All 3 of us are disabled. I have used this branch before and did not have these problems... they also gave it to us with only a quarter tank of gas.

Very unprofessional. Manager was extremely rude. Not only to myself but other customers. (Sweet elderly women at that) Other employee was using very offensive and inappropriate language. Charged me for 3 gallons of fuel when I traveled less than 4 miles. Not cool. Very unpleasant. 10/10 would not recommend

When Icalled to make the reservation the lady on the phone gave false information about the price of the truck we needed. Also, she put the reservation under the wrong name. I had total back when I saw that and it took 25 minutes for the lady to change the name. Waste of my time. When I walked into the store there was no one to wait on me. However I did see a young man in what I suppose was a break room just sitting there and stared at me and said nothing. After another 5 to 10 minutes he came out and asked if he could help me. Very Bad customer service. I will no use u-haul again sit is obvious you don't want customers.

They did not explain that there would be additional charges for after closing drop off, though we had specifically asked. Problems with starting truck after it was stopped. Horrible customer service from Uhaul National. Unable to speak directly with store. I will be contesting payment with my credit card co.

This place had the worst customer service. The guy who helped me was awful. He didn't want to answer any questions, he was very rude you could tell I bothered him. I will never use U Haul again after this experience.

the key that turns on the ignition to the vehicle is so poorly cut that 5 people including the uhaul employee had to jiggle and work at turning on the vehicle. I called roadside assistance once just to ask them how the vehicle gets turned on. Finally someone on my moving crew LUCKILY jiggled the key just right and the vehicle turned on. Very frustrating especially since the renting employee did not tell me that the glitch on the ignition key takes a certain and exact placement in the hole to get it right. Employee did not say ' you need to jiggle and pull out the key to get it just right to turn on the vehicle. Just keep working at it. It might take a few minutes to get it just right" Next- the renting employee told me I could do after hours return online. THAT IS A HUGE LIE. I tried online for 45 minutes to find out how to return. There is no place on the computer site that lets me return the vehicle in the comfort of home. You have to use your MOBILE device after you have created an account and password. Then you log on when you are at the uhaul center and have to take a few pictures of the vehicle inside and out with your mobile device and send to uhaul. It was dark when I wanted to return the vehicle and I didn't feel safe. This process is not as easy the employee made out to be. Employee told me to simply to "go online and click on share" I can not find "share" on my computer. The employee mislead me and needed to tell me to create an account and use my mobile device on site when returning, and tell me about taking pictures of odometer, gas gauge, inside , outside, etc. I finally went to Uhaul first thing this morning to have a live employee check me in. Next- this morning employee at 9AM was rude and terse. I told the employee I had wanted to return the vehicle last night he said "you could have done that online." very curtly. I said I tried at home for 45 minutes then gave up and waited until morning to come to the store. Employee was rude to my husband who was waiting to take me home after returning the vehicle. Employee was rude when I couldn't turn the vehicle on for him ( because of the bad key) and asked me to get out of the vehicle. Employee also had to jimmy the key to get the ignition turned on. The training you give your employees to tell people to "go online to return vehicle 24/7" is lacking clear instruction and partially wrong. Give them proper training in this matter. You don't even put it on the site to tell people they need a mobile device. Many people don't have a mobile device that can take pictures and send online. Some people just have dumb phones, not smart phones. When I called the store to ask the employee how to turn the vehicle on just 45 minutes after I rented it, nobody answered the phone at the store. That was around 5:00 PM during store hours. I got sent to a national help line for roadside assistance. What a pain this whole experience was.

Scheduled pickup time was 7am. The manager was late to open. From the moment he started interacting with me, he acted like I was imposing on his busy schedule. I was a customer about ready to spend $1000 with U-Haul. I expected better service. The location was not convenient to my location. He refused to fill the order for boxes which I had previously paid for. I went to the location on Oracle near River. The Oracle manager did everything he could do make up for the lack of service at Grant. I would recommend the Oracle location to anyone.

The loading ramp had a missing stop so it would fall to the ground when pulled out. Took two of us to reinstall and get it back on its tracks. He loaded almost everything with the ramp, which was difficult. When I went back to the U-haul dealer they said to call road side service about the problem. Very frustrating overall. Otherwise the truck was great and pricing very fair.

The reservation system is HORRIBLE Made the reservation in line, got a confirmation, confirmed the confirmation 25 hours before. Got to the location and the reservation was NOT in the system Local guy completely redid the order This cost me an hour of wasted time

When I returned my truck during business hours, there was only a single employee at desk and he was involved with an issue with a customer when i arrived that dragged out well over 20 minutes. He was great about acknowledging my arrival and assuring assistance. Having more than a single employee able to handle check-ins would have helped greatly.

The process for reserving an in-town move turned into an ordeal when my rental was processed as a one-way. It took a significant amount of time for me to sort it out with the employees at U-Haul. Otherwise, it was okay.

I had to have a credit card to rent a cargo van or pick up truck. Due to people having stole the vehicles before. So I have to pay more money to rent a 15ft truck. The cargo van and pick up are insured I know and I am sure you all have some type of tracking device on these vehicles. While the theft Illeffects you it hurt us whose don’t need such a large vehicle. I feel that policy should be changed.

The wait to pickup was nearly an hour. The attendant didn’t clearly state what the problem was but it appeared to be a Combination of a computer system issue, six people needing assistance, and only one person working. The return also took about forty minutes. Again there was three people needing help and only one attendant at the time. I’ve used this location before and hadn’t had any issues on weekdays.
