Make sure a truck is ready for pickup at the time of reservation for your customers. I waited two hours past my pickup time to finally receive a truck. Lost money paying for moving labor and will not be using uhaul again for this reason.

Although staff was courteous and friendly, seemed understaffed when I picked up my vehicle in the morning and returned late afternoon. Just one person to help customers each time - had to wait each time for 15 minutes or longer.
The online mobile thing was pretty confusing. I didn't know where the lock was to find the truck key and had to ask the live customer support. Other than that the employee who did my return was really nice and helpful.
Elizabeth was great to work with -- she called early in the day to let me know that she was experiencing issues with the truck slated for me, and we were able to discuss and come to a workable plan. When we needed to change our storage unit, she was equally accommodating, and willing to work with us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Very helpful staff and got you in and out of the facility quickly. In 100 degree heat that is important. Vehicle was very clean and ready to be picked up when I got there.
Staff was very thorough in explaining the process and being sure the trailer was properly hooked up to our pickup before leaving. They gave us plenty of options for turning in the trailer at our final destination and fully explained the timeframe in which the trailer had to be returned. We rented from them because of their high ratings and they were, indeed, warranted.
The truck I rented had issues with the a/c. The a/c would turn off completely when the truck would accelerate, climb hills or mountains, and when it is 108 degrees outside it made the trip harder and not enjoyable.
Made a reservation for another location.(Ina/Thornydale in Tucson) I was there on time. Waited in line for an hour. The CSR said â€œoh, we don't have a trailer here for you. I don't know what to tell you.â€ I pushed him to find one. Drove an hour across town. Guy was nice, but told me packing blankets were in the trailer. They weren't. My sister drove back to the first store to get them. Four hours to get a trailer, blankets and back to the moving location. Went to strap the load in. There was ONE set of D rings at the front upper corners of the trailer. There were four on the floor on both sides. Virtually no way to secure the load unless I wanted to use thin twine which would have broken. I have never been so angry or disappointed in a company. So, when a piece of equipment has been reserved, make sure it is there. Train your store staff in customer service. If the first guy had worked for me, I would have fired him. Make sure that the required D rings to secure a load in a trailer are actually there.
There were a couple of damages to the truck and auto transport that weren't previously marked. They did not check any of the lighting on the truck before I left. Overall they were very nice and patient with all customers.
In and out fast, Nice job Uhaul.
Firstly, the latch kept getting stuck and door wouldn't close. Secondly, the manager was very rude. His staff didn't record out going milage correctly and I went a total of 50 miles and they had almost 300. Luckily, I reset mileage and took picture on outgoing. They adjusted the mileage but not before telling me I was a liar and everyone says that to try and get "free service". He didn't adjust because he didn't want to argue and ask me to stop he would discount it wasn't a discount it was a mistake on their part. However, apparently they see their customers as thieves.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful young front-desk guy He was only helpful when I sent my friend (a white male) to talk to him. Really bad check-out experience. On the positive side, the guy that was checking-in the U-Hauls (working super hard) was very nice and helpful (many thanks!) receiving/parking my U-Haul and telling me to no worry that he would take care of everything...which he did!
When dealing with an irate customer don't throw sarcasm in the mix. De-escalate next time instead of clapping back.
The price is too much to rent a truck for 2 hrs or less.

I have never been so mistreated in my life as I was today on 4th of July 2020 when I went to U-Haul at 3555 East Grant Road. When I went in to rent a vehicle I was assisted by an employee by the name of Chad. Chad was so rude to me I still can't even believe it happened. Chad was rude to me with the language he used both when I rented the vehicle and when I brought it back afterwards. I asked first to rent a pickup truck or a van whichever one was available and both were parked out front. Chad told me that a customer had already reserved but when I came back hours later to return the 10 foot box truck both vehicles were still parked there. Chad used four letter words at me after I asked Chad why he treated me so mean. The last time I dealt with him when I came in to rent a vehicle Chad also treated me rude and I reported him to the manager there, her name is Elizabeth and also to the supervisor, his name is Robert oh, and they both acknowledged that they knew Chad lacked customer service skills and that Chad was rude. U-Haul corporate should terminate his employment for the way he treated me and probably other customers. No one should ever use four letter words towards a customer
