Christina Garcia checked me in, and was extremely unprofessional during my entire transaction with her. She had a friend visiting the store, who sat in the chair designated for customers the entire time I rented a truck. During this process, Christina maintained a conversation with her friend and I was forced to talk over them. I was also never allowed to sit down and had to practically lean over her friend to sign paperwork and submit payment. I was extremely shocked by this lack of professionalism and will not be returning to this specific location. Besides this awful rental process, the process of returning the truck was barely a better experience. The store was extremely busy and only 2 people were working! I had to wait over 25min to even talk to someone and actually used the online return process, as it was faster than working with a real human. I again was extremely disappointed in this location.RICHARD B.

Forcing people to have use a credit card for the cheapest truck rental. After reserving online and uploading my license. I get to the place and they say you have to use a credit card in order to get this truck. Both of my cards were maxed out. Thank goodness my credit card company as auto credit and they instantly gave me credit but I had to commit $60 to my credit card company. She then said once you get back and return the van we can put it to a debit card. So if you can do it after but not before it's a software issue. Your worker was pissed. I was pissed. If I didn't have a credit profile or credit card I may not have been able to use your cheapest option. She said in order to use a debit card I'd have to spend a lot more. Make it make sense.Dane D.

Do a quick check over for missing "parts" on the equipment. The 5:9" open trailer I rented was missing the hooks to hold up the tailgate. It did not dramatically affect my use of the equipment, but I had to modify my tie-down procedure because I had to close the tailgate during every trip load.steve H.

The truck smelled horrific and the guy legitimately stared at me and said â€œI see you on my screen what you wantâ€ after I explained the online checkin and he say and stared at me and then the other guy had to stop what he was doing to help me rushing and not verifying anything.Earnest V.
I rented a truck for $19,99/day & my contract states . 89Â¢/Mile. My total mi. was 98 but they were trying to chg. me for 185mi. @$1,09/mile, not the 0,89Â¢. ("problem w/computer" ) My checking acct. was charged multiple times by U-Haul for random amounts, not the amt. due. but the store claims they have no record of this. And... in the pouring my pug accidentally locked herself in the truck. I live 1/2 mile from the store & had just left there. I called the 800# & was told $185 & 1hr to arrive. So after several attempts to speak to a mngr. I am going to send a check 9vet with the amount 8 know to be true.Cynthia C.

I was told that I had roughly 3/4 of a tank of gas. I returned it with 3/4 of a tank of gas after putting gas in to get me to where it was when I rented it. Not exactly sure why I was charged for gas since I returned it exactly where it was when I got it. Pretty annoyed about that, other than that, the experience was fine.Calaiha H.

This is the first time I got junk. AC fan was noisy on hi, the drivers door clunked, and the trany or rear end howled. Otherwise it has been a good store with respectful personnel and generally have what I need, been using this store for 4 rears now. Thank You. KastenKASTEN O.
Have everyone reapply for their jobs. I found that the gas gauge was broken and showing empty. I knew it had to be a broken gauge. They expected me to turn around come back and ask fir a truck they didn't have while I had people at my place waiting to load. I used the truck, put maybe 30 miles on it and topped it off with about 5 bucks. They're charging me for a full tank now! I went in and actually had a â€œmanagerâ€ suggest that I could have siphoned the gas!! I need a truck to finish it up today. I went to Penske! What a ridiculous crew!!Hugo R.

Customer service was not provided. Gentleman that helped me said he would meet me outside to load my dolly, I waited about 10 minutes before going inside and he said he forgot cause his coworker distracted him. The truck I rented was having a hard time shifting gears. And I was charged a late fee for returning it after closing. If I would have know I was going to be charged I would have brought it back before closing time.Stacy G.
You called and asked me to bring an empty trailer back for a $50 promotion. I agreed. I was asked if the trailer would be hooked up and ready to go. I was told it would be. Then you called and changed my pick up location. When I arrived, trailer wasn't connected, promo wasn't applied, and truck rate went to from 99 to 159. Then they tried to sell me insurance for the trailer. While he was trying to fix it, truck rate went up to $166. They called a Bobby at internal to help but he couldn't fix it either although the notes stated that they had offered me his deal. I had the original reservation that showed a $99 rate. I was there for almost 40 minutes as the line backed up. They finally fixed it enough to get back ti my original $99 rental and I told them to just keep the truck. However, I was going to cancel this reservation because I had found a better deal. I kept it because of promo. I will do everything I can to not ever have to rent from uhaul again. It was such a hassle and all created by your own team.Leslie N.

I was charged a $20 fee for overnight drop off. It states on my receipt that if I did it online I would not be charged. If an employee had to check me in, then would I be charged. So I'm confused as to why I was unnecessarily charged? Also, a woman should be able to walk into your establishment and feel comfortable. Not talked to as if I was a bother.
