It's really weird how the trailer has the tie-downs. With my tie-downs, only one side of the tie-down could thread the strap through. I made it work, but it wasn't easy.Linda A.

The level of apathy of the staff here has to be a joke. The staff is rude and inattentive and acted like I was incompetent because I could not hear the associate when I was backing up the truck to the trailer. To make matters worse, they barely loaded my car correctly for a cross country move. When I got to my destination, the UHaul associate said that the car as not chained down properly and could have easily fallen off. There was a tire on the car trailer that was about to pop too, meaning the associate in Austin didn't check the equipment before I took off. I'm lucky to still have my car and all my stuff in one piece. You can bet I'll be contacting UHaul for a refund. Do NOT give this location your business. The staff is incompetent and they have terrible attitudes.Daniel G.
My overall experience was terrible. I was sent to 4 different locations in order to pick up my Uboxes that were suppose to be delivered to a different location. The team offered nothing to help make things right.COLBY C.
This location was helping me as the Pflugerville Uhaul located on Pecan Street called me late the afternoon before my Saturday pick stating they did not have 10 ft truck and moved my reservation. It ended up being a new reservation, none of my previous info transfered. Was forced to pay more for a 15ft truck and drive 30miles out of the way. I was moving my elderly father with Dimentia and not having this truck ready and availble delayed my trip to Fort Worth and forced me to stay another day in Pflugerville which ultimately cost me more time and money. Please address the issue with your location at 1602 West Pecan St. 78660. This was an option in your online app and it shows as completely closed on Google. Should not be available as a choice if that's the case. Worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul in all my years as a customer. Reward your N, Lamar and Koenig staff, they are always on top of things and helpful. THanks.sean C.
The location was NOT the problem. UHAUL was the problem. No one contacted me the day before as specified on your website when I made the reservation, and it took me 4 tries to get the truck I reserved ed 3-4 weeks before. It was ridiculous. The equipment, van, was just so so, the thing was like driving old truck and measurements for back not accurate because of well wells. And though it had cruise control it did not work. Tires low when I received vehicle, had to waist additional time, my time to have the tires aired up, which the tire gauge did not work and employee had to keep asking if pressure was correct. Ridiculous! This company should be ashamed. The only good part was the employees were nice. Equipment clean, I personally do not think well maintained.Nola D.

I don't even know where to begin. My reservation was messed up before I even picked up my truck. First off, I was not able to pick up a truck at my requested location. After spending an hour driving to the location and back home, I open the truck and the appliance cart that I paid for was not in the truck. My son had to go to the local cation near my home that I had originally requested to pick up a cart. The manager couldn't even complete the pickup on the computer. My son had to get on the computer to complete the transaction. He had to pay for the cart again. I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to get a refund for the first cart I did not receive. Then I get a message stating the 2nd cart was scheduled to be returned to a location an hour and a half from my final destination. I had to call customer service AGAIN. I was told that this was taken care of. It was not. Today I received a call from a person at the wrong location wanting to know why I had not yet returned the appliance cart. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. The left hand has zero idea what the right hand is doing. I should have not had to pay for the appliance cart period after all the hassle I had to go through to get it. Horrible experience and causes me so much stress at the time of my move. Pamela A.
I was given a 26ft truck that was dirty inside and out. I also ordered 48 moving pads and a furniture dolly. There were only 12 pads and no dolly. I had to go to another location to retrieve the furniture pads. The truck I was given was deafening when driving. I got to the next location and THANKFULLY the person working there listened to the truck and looked it over and said I should have never been given this vehicle to drive from Austin to Boston. The brake fluid was all over the rear wheel of the truck. My person safety was not taken into consideration when this truck was given to me. At this location they called to find another 26ft truck, back at the original location. Come to find out, the 2nd truck that I received was the one assigned to me. The first truck was given to me because it was convenient. This type of service is so very concerning. Thankfully I was not driving by myself, but if I had been and used the first truck I could have encountered a breakdown with out assistance or possibly not knowing the area. I booked a 10 foot truck for two days at this location and got the email confirmation. When I went to pick it up I was told by the woman at the counter that they don't rent these trucks for two days on the weekend. I pointed out that I got confirmation, she told me that I shouldn't have been able to make that reservation. She made a call and I was offered a van, which I took (better than nothing). I had to make several more trips because of that (which meant higher costs because of mileage) and could not pick up several items as planned because they would not fit. That really sucked. I didn't want anything for free, but I would have liked my confirmed booking to actually be available. The "outside of business hours" return was very stressful. Every time the app asked me for a photo, I had to leave the form, take the picture and then start over. I had to do this several times, because the app doesn't tell you up front which pictures you will need. Anyway, it was a very stressful experience.Andreas F.

The staff at this location are, without fail, courteous, professional, and competent. They helped fix a problem with my reservation (which was entirely my own fault) with grace and humor. Both pickup and dropoff were easy. I was a bit concerned with the amount of the hold on my credit card (to cover excessive mileage), but the actual amount billed was quite reasonable, and completely in line with the original estimate I received when making the reservation. I will definitely use this U-Haul location for all of my moving needs!Anthony V.
We ran into a sceduleing issue the day of pick up, basically meaning uhaul forgot to scedule us at our original pick up destination and never told us. When we called uhaul to find out where our truck was we were told we could have extra miles for the inconvenience of driving and extra hour to pick up our truck. When we got to the store the lady working was rude, gave us the wrong equipment, the truck also have fast food bags and trash from pervious people, and when asked about the miles she said that it wasn't in the computer and she refused to help us further and basically kicked us out of the store. I get the miles we're not her fault but she could have helped by offering to help reach out to customer service or something.Cooper C.

I can't recall the young lady's name who helped but she was great! Super polite and knowledgeable! Then I had an issue with returning the truck cause the website for self check in was not working, well the manager of this location totally helped me even tho it was her day off. I really appreciate people like this. They're are honestly exemplary associates and I will definitely rent here if I need to again, and will absolutely recommend to friends and fam.
