The “general manager” was incredibly unprofessional and on his phone when talking to us. They charged us more than we should have been charged, and when returning the U-Haul, I was tying my grandsons shoes and the representative was yelling at us and not giving us time to finish what we were doing. Totally rude and just not worth the hassle.

I called 4-5 times and the phone just rang and rang. Nobody answered. So I went down there and there were 3 employees talking in the lobby and there were no customers. While I was getting checked in at the desk multiple employees came and started talking to the lady I was working with and interrupting us. For some reason every time an employee came in they would come up and start talking to the lady I was with. Instead of telling them to hold on she told me to hold on. I was there for a long time. She even walked outside on her phone at one point. When I returned the trailer Sunday the big white guy outside was funny, friendly, helped us unhook the trailer and asked how our dirt bike trip was. I don't know his name but he was helpful. The office staff is a joke.

The only down side of this location is the parking. If you are leaving a personal car behind there is nowhere to leave it. To the question about 'Was the equipment clean and well maintained?' It was well maintained but when sweeping it out I realized the inside hadn't been cleaned before I got it. Lots of nails, pictures, and small dowels were found.

The windshield was filthy. Or attract That was supposed to be 19.95 rental fee and I only drove maybe 30 miles round trip my bill was almost $100 for 5 hours. I got there at the time I was supposed to get the truck and it took 30 minutes before I was able to leave with a truck.

When I reserved online it would only let me reserve for a 24 hour period. I needed it for 4 days. I could reserve 4 separate 24 hour slots, but not one 4 day slot. I had to go in person to get the reservation squared away. Thanks

Our reserved truck was late coming in by 5 hours, I understand this is out of your control, but there were no phone calls to me letting me know it was not there. That would of been helpful since I had my moving crew go pick it up. I had to pay them for their time, it could if been avoided with a phone call. I also returned the truck 24 hours before my due time, there could of been a reimbursement for that time. Nothing????

When I went to turn in my vehicle the line was crazy long and in the street , I had to sit there and wait . Blocking some traffic . Additionally when I went to turn in my vehicle the man collecting got annoyed when I went to ask if I wait for him and was like you're next wait there when I just wanted to make sure I that was the process

Rented truck for 2 days bought a brand new home didn't close on time so I called and said instead of bringing it back at 8am I'd have it back by 2 pm was able to bring it back at 1 pm do to not getting new house on time was very upset about the charge for your furniture cover I rented 36 because being a little late I was charged 90 dollars for the furniture covers totally I think wrong cover were almost the same price as truck rental I you can I'd like to speak to a manager my name is Jeff Garcia 925-978-3610

When contacting your help center in Phoenix, the 1st call was handled very poorly and rudely. I had lost my key and the lady wasn't helpful at all. I called and hour later and got another lady that was much more helpful. When someone is in a difficult situation, whether it's their fault or not,

Overall this is a good location with fast customer service. However I would like to suggest the proper updation of records between computer & human. After dropping the trailer back this time, (received by their staff), computer sent me an outomated reminder about 6 hours later to return the equipment. I was shocked, so called them & Lydia fixed the glitch going back and forth in the field to verify trainer's presence!! Thanks Lydia

The women who helped me at the front had no idea what she was doing. She didn't know how much the gas refill price was. I am her study the approximate miles to South Reno was, she said she's really bad with direction and has no idea. I said isn't this where you work should you know something as simple as that? She replied not at all. Constantly said the words not glorious. I know my expectation shouldn't be very high but she definitely needs a talking ton about her customer service experience

My reservation was put off a day then still not available when I went to pick it up. I was moved to 3 different locations 30 miles from my original location before I was able to get a car dolly. Uhaul didn't offer any compensation for my time or driving around to get my rental.

Waited in line 40 minutes to get waited on. Would have been longer but several people ahead of me left. Tried to call to change my reservation the day before and was put on hold. Put my phone on speaker and continued working. After 30 minutes I was sure no one was going to answer , so I went down in person to change it. Was told it was taken care of , but it was screwed up anyway. Very poor experience overall.

I would rate as excellent except the woman who checked me in was rude, nasty and had to be sent out of the building by the manager. she was yelling at me, telling me that ' I must not know how to read!' because I had a question about a charge. She was absolutely horrible. The manager had to take over and send her outside. She took pictures of my drivers license and now I am worried about what form of retaliation I can expect from her. Please be assured that if my personal data is compromised, I will be seeking corrective action from 'U-Haul"! On a positive note, the manager was professional, helpful, competent and quick to respond to the problem. He was friendly and he knows how to provide good customer service.

With customers standing in line, all counter personnel either unattentive (faces buried into phones or smooching with another employee presumably leaving at end of shift) or rude and resistant to provide customer service when I asked to be attended regarding my reservation. I was on a short timeline to load the rental trailer to be able to leave early the next day. I asked for the manager and the counter person who was rude and resistant pointed me toward the manager's phone number posted on the front door.. When Owner/Manager arrived from off site regarding my complanints left on his voice message, he also displayed rudeness and did not address any of my concerns regarding the counter personnel's behavior's (even the smooching employees). Worst experience I have ever had with any UHaul business considering I have used UHaul many times in many states since 1986 during my military career.

I was given a quote over the phone for a truck with taxes and everything. When I arrived and got the truck, I was told it was going to be four times as much. They didn't mention cost per mile at all. As I had no other choice when I was there I was forced to pay all of it. The second thing is that the hispanic guy working outside getting the truck ready was very rude to me and my friend. We were checking the truck outside for marks, scratches, dents, etc and he literally told us to stop and that there's no need. I took a picture of some damage to the truck before we left. He started to almost yell at us for taking pictures of the truck. I couldn't believe his bad service. I will never be coming back to this location again.

Second location after driving 6 hours and a coversation with scheduling after being only email a cancelation for first location. Personal at front desk was friendly even after dealing with an irate customer before me in line. Checkout/in personel were friendly also but seemed undermanned for business flow on a Saturday. Equipment was a seven year old tow dolly that had multiple long cracks in fenders which repeatedly flapped while towing and was a constant fear of beening dislodged while in tow.

I asked for the smallest open trailer with a ramp. The new employee made a mistake, got flustered or something because I didn't get an open trailer with a ramp. It had a tailgate but no ramp. The man that attached the trailer that I also told I needed a ramp, was not a new employee. He knew he was hooking up a trailer without a ramp. So much for customer service. I've been using this particular uhaul location because of convenience for many years. However, I will not be back.

I'd recommend it because it's the only one around. The staff this time was very friendly. My complaint is that I reserved a 26' truck, but it was changed to a 20' truck just prior to my rental time, even though I had reserved it in advance. The difference left me scrambling.

This does not reflect on the location but our truck was not acceptable. It did not start consistently and did not feel safe to drive. We returned it early because of this and were not refunded which is it acceptable.

Either make your reservation system work or don't offer it. I can't begin to say how bad the reservation system is. It would make a great skit on SNL. Holy cow!
