Our experience was an absolute nightmare! When we went to pick up the truck, everything was fine. Upon returning the truck after hours, we discovered that the truck that was given to us was not the same truck on our contract. Thus it was literally impossible for us to return it. We had all kinds of technical difficulties just trying to return the truck online. Once we were able to finally get logged in, we still weren't able to get the truck returned because the mileage did not add up. The truck on our contract had over 5000 more miles on the starting mileage than our truck when we returned it. We ended up paying more in gas because they told us to return it at the three-quarter level when we only started at with a half a tank. The only good thing that came of this was Rick in customer care. After 45 minutes of trying to figure this out, trying to get a hold of somebody, and sitting in the dark at the location, we were finally able to connect with Rick to put notes in our reservation about what had happened. He told us to take all kinds of pictures and called the location at 7 AM before they got the truck checked in to discuss what happened. I called the next morning at 7 AM and the message said it would be over an hour wait to speak with somebody. So I got in my car and drove back to the location to explain in person what happened. I didn't catch the guys name but he was apologetic and said he would comp the gas, there wouldn't be any extra fees, and I would get my receipt in about 10 minutes in my email. I finally saw the receipt once I was back home and nothing on it was comped. This experience was infuriating and I will never be renting from here again!AUDREY NICOLE F.
Had to wait a bit, 15-ish minutes, when returning the trailer. This was about 3:30pm and other people were returning at the same time so was kind of expected. But never like to wait. Other than this, all good.MICAH SIU C.

The staff member who was outside cleaning and organizing was awesome! I did mobile rental, check in, pick up and drop off, but the service he provided was great! Stayed a respectful distance, walked me through the process, did some extra quick cleaning of the truck. Really good experience.Joshua L.

This place was super helpful - I was having trouble with my trailer lights and they helped me diagnose the issue and sent me off with the right parts without charging too much. Out of the way for me but would def drive back for their service.Thomas C.
I had a great experience here. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful. I enjoy the hours of service but I still wish that it was open 24 hours. Not a big deal though. This place gets a 4/5 in my bookCARLOS L.
The staff was very helpful but the app check in was terrible. The system was down and staff was struggling to help. The app did not allow me to add photos, got my mileage wrong and overcharged me by 20 miles. It also charged me an after hours fee to return but did not mention anything about that until after I got my invoice.Daniel B.
When I returned the vehicle no one was behind the counter. I had to look for someone in the yard. He was talking to two other employees. He told me to put the keys on the counter and that he would settle the account later. So, I put the keys on the counter and left. I did get an email indicating the account was settled. I just expected better customer service. I left not knowing what was going to be on my credit card. Don't know if I will go back to that location.Don R.

I feel that this location has a team of motivated people. Each person I came in contact with had the mission of Uhaul in their actions and individually are good at what they do. I feel there is a lack of leadership or process discipline which has people running around inefficiently. Resulting in a waiting room with 5 customers and no one behind the counter. Not because they are MIA, but because they are trying to help a customer get their trailer on, or checking them out on the truck they are renting. Likewise, when dropping off a trailer, I waited 5 minutes in the drop off area. When no one came to help me I walked around the building and found myself #6 in line with no one behind the counter. I decided to unhook my trailer by myself but when I reached my car someone had already started the process. Because of the level of activity the exit was blocked, so I was left to turn around and exit opposite of the well designed process of receiving equipment. I was thanked for my business and felt good. The next morning I received a phone call asking when I was going to return my trailer rental. Quickly the person making the call was able to review video and verify that I indeed returned the trailer. Please note, I am not unhappy. Rather responding to your request for feed back. This location has good people but needs a leader to keep a busy location running rather than letting the wheels fall off. I will be using Uhaul again but maybe a different location. Keep the bar high gentlemen. Focus on honoring the process that made Uhaul great. Don't be tempted to reprimand the people for a process that you have allowed to go a fowl. The 5x9 open trailer is the greatest trailer I have ever rented.Ryan M.

Vehicle did not have a ramp. Seat adjuster was jammed. Window roller was broken. Vehicle was 'just below full' so it was difficult to know how much gas to add after I was finished moving. This felt sneaky. Just provide vehicles with a full tank so we can fill it up again after we are finished. Add ons and additional charges per mile should be more clear in advertisement. It's never going to be 29,99 to rent a u-haul.Ella I.

The phone check out service would not work, and kept resulting in error messages. I had to go inside for service, but they asked for me to keep trying to the phone service. It would not work, and they finally proceeded at the counter manually. I wish they would have just processed it without relying on the phone service.MICHAEL THOMAS M.

There were trucks parked nearly to the street forcing me to park in the entrance. There was no where else to go. The key drop off was not clearly marked. There were no signs and nothing in the app to give directions for where it might be. I was forced to take a 40 $lyft there and back to return the keys in the morning.Mallory G.

The online registration process could use some work. I tried to reserve a van at a location at Southeast 17th near Holgate. That's where I thought my vehicle was, so I went over there and they had no such vehicle for me. Then I looked at the email I was sent and realized my reservation had been changed to a different location. I would suggest putting in large letters on the confirmation email, â€œNote, we had to change your pick up location due to availability of vehicles.â€œ Though I was given the correct location, it was pretty fine print and I wasn't looking for it because I didn't expect such a change.REID V.

I drove 2,3 miles, and I was charged a 3 gallon fuel surcharge - so either your trucks get less than 1 mile per gallon, or your staff are ripping people off. Also, saw a staff member rear end another moving truck with your loving truck and did nothing about it.Robert J.

Very dissatisfied with service. They wanted to get us in and out and didn't provide what we needed. We need the 10 foot rental for 1 day and insisted that was all we needed it for. We traveled from one location to another which was only 54 miles and were going to drop it off the following day. The sales rep insisted we had to have it for 2 days, which we assumed was the night we picked it up and the next day to return it. However, it was for one extra day. When I called to see if we would be prorated for the early drop off, I was informed that we were offered that rate based on 2 full days. We way overcharged and upset to know that returning it early was not a benefit. When someone doesn't explain the entire breakdown of the rental sale to you it upsets me. I will not recommend UHAUL to anyone else and would be glad to let people know my hangups with the service.lisa B.

Overall a good experience except for a few things. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient and the truck worked well except for ... It was difficult to get the ignition key to turn and start the truck, every time. They said the tank was 3/5 full and it was actually under 1/4 full. I don't have a receipt by email yet, over 24 hours after renting the truck. Any one of those things would be too small to mention, but they add up.DAVID GERSON R.
