Miss Desirae and Matt were the best staff I've ever encountered at ANY company. They both has such great attitudes even though the office was slammed. They were so friendly, caring, sweet, calm, knowledgeable and overall it was the best experience ever. Moving is never a fun thing, but renting the UHaul from this location made a HUGE difference!! The poorest customer service I think I've ever experienced with U-Haul when I made my reservation I made it for 24 hours unbeknownst to me the girl who checked me out change the hours I picked up the trailer at 11:15 in the morning and she changed it to a 7 AM drop off without telling me you guys should be shut down I'm sure there's other people that explains the same issue that's fraud and I want something done about it I want a full refund of my rentalFor the abuse that I was given someone needs to call me immediately 770-568-2372 you should be ashamed U-Haul should be ashamed you are cheating people without them knowingRONNEY R.
Layout of the drive-in and parking lot needs clarity. Pulling into the parking area from the frontage road with the parking lot lined in the opposite direction is confusing. If it is only for returning equipment, the sign should read "Returns Entrance Only."Sherilynn D.

Man the customer service, 24/7 call line. Either have more employees on staff to answer calls, provide information to the customer on how many callers are in front of them, or extend the hours of operation to have an employee on staff on location at all times.Juliette C.

Terrible experience. Our boxes were in 2 different locations making it extremely inconvenient. Our first box took 2,5 hours to get loaded onto a trailer for us to take. This box was also damaged by Uhaul with a forklift that caused a hole in the box resulting in mold and cockroaches throughout our belongings.JESSICA N.

When calling the Customer Service line be prepared to have someone to be rude to you and not listen to what pick up location. Yes I understand there wasn't a truck available but she could have told me when I specifically requested Riverside Dr in Austin and she reserved it at the UT location. I had already advised my son did not have transportation and had to use the bus to get to the location. Then I get billed for 2 days when I only needed 1. It is less than a 3 hour drive from one his location to mine.CHRISTOPHER M.

The mobile pickup was a joke. Totally non-functional. I ended up using the staff inside. The staff is not friendly or helpful at all.James R.
I am pretty disappointed in my service with UHaul. While the customer service at the Austin location was good, the customer service over the phone has been horrendous. I was charged an extra day for using a cargo van because I dropped it off after closing when the location told me that would be okay and that I would not be charged an extra day if I dropped it off at night. It was also never communicated to me that I had to make an appointment to pick up my U-BOX and there were several occasions where UHaul was supposed to call me back and I had to reach back out. Extremely helpful at drop off when the originating rental location couldn't seem to get my requested drop off location in the system. Because of this they had no reservation for me to drop off but took care of me anyway and fixed it in the system. This location was too busy for the number of employees. The two employees that I interacted with were great, but they were overwhelmed by the number of customers. I used the online app to reserve the van and pay. I had some difficulty finding the vehicle. When the vehicle number was sent to me, I assumed that it was a license plate number. It would be helpful in the future to emphasize that this is not a license plate number and that we should look for the number in the back window. I also reserved and paid for a furniture dolly but when I did get the keys to the vehicle, I was informed that they were out of furniture dollys. I still have not received a refund for the dolly rental. There seems to be a gap or disconnect between the goals of the online reservation app and the execution of the online reservation system. But I do want to emphasize that when I was able to speak with employees at this location, they were very good and very helpful.Brendan O.

I never received a contact from U-Haul to confirm my reservation and still waiting for my credit that website offers. I showed up at my original reservation location which was in Leander. I had called U-Haul the day before the reservation and was told my reservation was good at the Leander location. I had been waiting around all day for a call, so I called and sent a message which website claimed to say was added to contact. When I showed up, I was told there were no trucks and I was set at Pflugerville location. I called over there and told to go to the university location that I finally ended up picking up at. The whole thing chasing down where my reservation was nerve wracking and due to additional miles I would have had to put on truck ended up taking my items somewhere else. I'm glad I was able to get a truck in the end but had to drive all around town to chase one down.Blanca S.

This rental was a Cluste f^@%. Customer service lied about rate. Location did not have trailer and sent me across town. Agents at I35 location need additional training for issue resolve. AND I had to wait 30 min for another guy to hook up trailer because he was finishing his "on-line training" so he could get a pay raise within U-Haul. NOT A ITEM TO BE DOING AND HAVE ME WAIT. Sean at cell (512)-658-4090 and 512-329-8771 the area president needs to leave the cush of his "high and mighty office" and visit the field AND and return calls timely and WORK IN THE FIELD to re-learn and train his field folks. Since complaints like this go back to the president of this area .. probably a waste of time to spend energy and effort on this probably worthless and ignored survey. Wish I could give negative points.... and double digit at that!!Roger D.

The fuel level shown in the truck was 1/4 of a tank lower than what the rental agreement reported. I did not receive the document until after I had driven off the Uhaul lot and I could not verify that the reported fuel level was correct with the customer service personnel.JEFFREYDAVID N.

I think everyone was busy. What was the hardest was that the return wasn't checked in and kept showing up as an active rental. I called Uhaul and they escalated the issue to the manager. Then I ended up having to go back to the location to sort it out. That was disappointing and stressful. Why not use barcode scanning like car rental companies doSalahuddin K.

Firstly I have to say the in store staff were very nice, just short handed. Having said that, personally would not use U-Haul again. Lack of communication in terms of charges if you miss the mandatory time they make you state that you will return the vehicle by, rates are based on 24 hour periods so why would I be charged extra if it takes me 12 hours vs 16? Who knows how long a move will take? The cost is for a 24 hour period so why not just put a return time of 24 hours from pick up? If you're earlier great. Had to name a return time despite the rental being a 24 hour charge and had no idea should I not make it you'll be charged another days rate for all of the equipment. Called to dispute, was assured I'd get a call back within 3 days. No call back. Had to call again to dispute the charges. Finally after 3 30 minute wait times on the phone I was refunded what should never have been charged for Equipment that is on its last legs. Getting the refund was more work than it should have been. Like most things, quick enough to take your money but slow to return it.DAMON B.
I was over charge on my credit card to a return when a U-Haul truck. Their website was not working, tried on 3 different IPhones. Returned as agreed even a day early no less and U-Haul still charged my credit card with additional charges for extra days rental. Their location in Austin, does not record returned trucks in a timely fashion so therefore they charge you for their negligent!! Completely unacceptable to a customer. Will not use U-Haul again! Improvement needed. They should check your trucks in on time and verify this information instead of causing headaches and unnecessary stress to the customer! Beware if you call them the estimated wait time is 40 minutes on hold.SABASTION S.
ref: U-Haul Contract 21063208 Place was busy during my drop-off. I have to wait as they seemed to be understaff during this peak period. I did not get my receipt in time and have wait long and when done, I realize later that I was overbilled, because gas charges were added and I returned it on same level as check-in. The app is shit. The van it had us pick was stuck between 2 others so we had to go in and talk to an associate. The associate was VERY helpful and nice. The van we got was really dirty.William C.
The individual who I believe is the manager (Braden or Brayton?) was absolutely outstanding and should be commended. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. One of his cohorts was not so helpful. He was clearly extremely frustrated, dismissive and somewhat discourteous.Barry M.
