Your mobile application did not work when I dropped the van 2.5 hrs after I first rented it. I called your 1-800 number and after waiting almost 30 min I was told that they I had taken note of the problem and that I would not be overcharge on the rental. Now I find that I had been overcharged around $30.00. Why. because of your defective application. I talked to the manager of the office where I got the van and he refused to acknowledge the fult f the application. Very bad experience. I would definitely not recommend Uhaul at all.

The truck that I had reserved was not given to me, because as per the representative at the counter, previous customer dropped the truck at uhaul and took the truck keys with him at home, the Appliance dolly I had selected was not available at the store, I wasn't even contacted by phone or email to inform about it. The representative gave me a smaller size truck and when I asked for the $50 credit I was informed to speak with another representative that was busy inspecting other customers to their trucks and I was said to wait in queue of 10 people to be served. I had a very very worst experience at this location and didn't expected that Uhaul would hire so unprofessional staff. My pick up time for the truck was 10 am, by the time I finished everything my time was 10:35 am, that's when I received the smaller truck. I would never recommend anyone else from renting a truck or reserving a truck from this location, unless they like their time to be wasted and not getting what they reserved.

Management was rude. When I asked where to park the van the response was "Can't you read the sign?" The sign pointed to the left of the building where several vans were parked there was no room there. The attendant informed me I was to back in under the cover to the left of the building. (if the was the case, the sign should be placed on top of the awning and the arrow pointing down in a larger sign. I had to back up so I asked for help. The attendant simply ignored me. There was a car behind me so I could not back up to the entrance, so I backed into the space where the attendant was standing. At no time did he ask me to pull in or help me turn around. He scolded me for backing in instead of pulling in the other direction. He pointed to the arrow on the ground and asked if I could see? At all times he was gruff and unapproachable. I had a few articles in the back of the truck and proceeded to move them to my car, which had been parked by the location, so could not have been moved prior to arriving. Instead of asking for the keys he sat in the truck with a growl on his face. All he had to do was get out of the truck and ask me for the keys with a smile. When I went into the office to wait. Another woman arrived after me. She was waiting for service. It appeared that there was only one staff member to help. When the chap came in that was rude to me he ordered to woman to stay by her vehicle and not wait in the office. There is no excuse for rudeness. If he had helped me put the truck into the right position with a few instructions, there would not have been a problem. Simply saying would you mind staying by your vehicle in a gently voice would work. Rudeness makes sure I will not come back. I had asked for the 24 hour service. The records show I picked the car up at 1:37, yet was advised to get it back by 12 noon. This is NOT 24 hours. I returned the vehicle at 12:02 and charged an extra day. This and the rudeness makes sure I will not come back to UHaul, a company and a location I had used several times in the past. I was also told that my name was to be at the top of the contract, not the Company name. If this required a different form it should have been done by the staff. I did not type up the contract, your staff did. Training is required.

The trailer was clean, but someone should test drive this equipment every now and again to check it out. The trailer I rented likely has spent ball bearings, making it shake like a tail, particularly at lower speeds. As well, the hitch receiver could be adjusted or replaced so it properly connects to a 2" hitch. This one was too wide, even at the tightest setting, making the ride loud and uncomfortable. The location itself was great, though, and the staff helpful.

There was no parking at this location so that could be an unwelcomed surprise when picking up a vehicle. They should specifically warn customers of this when ordering. The truck I rented was new and well appointed. Early pickup and late drop off was not a problem. I recommend.

I reserved the 4'x 8' trailer ($14.95 as per rate in u haul website) to pick up the sofa and when my son went to pick up they are giving the open cargo trailer so my son said no we need the enclosed on. They gave the enclosed trailer when we drop off and got home my son gave me the reciept i was surprised that i was charge $29.95 for the trailer. The cost of the trailer is higher than a 10' moving truck ( $19.95) or a moving van ($19.95) I called and file a complain about this and hope they will refund the difference for this misleading information. We gave our trust to the representative over the phone for our reservation and we provide our credit card information then at the end we will be shock for the charges

I was given the truck without verifying he starting mileage or gas level. The gas level was at 3/8 yet they recorded it at half and charged me a surcharge The original reservation was for a van that came with a discount. I upgraded to a truck and was not advised that that truck dis not have a discount. The final cost was high, The female attendant was rude and unempathetic, Told me I should have checked the mileage and gas myself and it does not matter if the first person did not tell that the discount did not apply, Thats what I haveto pay

maybe to make sure th people in charge of the hitches follow the procedures when they need to attach or tie the 2 inches bolts, the plastic was put in the wrong position so the plastic broke because it was not in the right position where it supposed to be and the 2 inches bolt with the screws became loose .

The online check in process is a pain in the a**. I understand the need for all of the information, but a few things on that note. Firstly, the check in required taking multiple photographs. You should provide WiFi to your customers so that we don't have to use our data plans (Canadian telecom companies are the devil, and charge a ridiculous amount for even small amounts of data). If you are going to require these photographs be taken for after hours check in, the lot has to be much better lit. The parking lot is dark and deserted at night, behind a large building, in a crime ridden area. Even as a 25 year old male I felt unsettled having to get out of the car and walk around taking pictures like an idiot with my phone. I feel like anyone who is more vulnerable would be a sitting duck for a mugging, especially if nefarious people in the area catch on to the fact that these check ins are happening nightly. Other than that, the staff at this location were excellent.

My original reservation was at keeles but they did not have the van ready for me and after an hour on phone, calling customer service They finally got a van at weston location for me. I was offered 50$ credit which I did not receive surprisingly and I had to pay for the van and waiting to get the money credited to my account. Poor customer service unfortunately.

Had trouble with pickup because computer system went down, but sales associate was helpful. Had reserved furniture dolly and none were available, except to purchase. Truck was in awful shape, service engine light was on whole time, ABS light came on few times, and truck was generally dirty. This truck should be scrapped, had 120k miles on it. The rest of fleet looked good from what I could see.

I originally booked with the Yorkdale location. They were horrible. I had booked a truck and the day of they called and said that it was not available . They did not help me . I had to ask for head office. They put me through to a scheduling number and while I spoke to the lady and explained the situation she took a moment and found me an option. She was very helpful . But, the Yorkdale location said that it wasn’t there problem and offered to assistance until a said I would take action and wanted to speak to someone in the corporate office.. I would not recommend that location to anyone.??

The "humans" involved weren't overly friendly or service oriented. Previously I rented a truck from the storage facility a few yards away. That experience was very quick, easy and pleasant. Sadly they only had a van available and I needed a 10 footer. Next time which may be soon, I will look elsewhere.

As a matter of fact i have rented with u-haul 3x since the year started. I felt as tho weston rd didnt trust me or sumthn. I wouldnt recommend weston location at all! Chante the worker there wasnt pleasant at all with her screw face . I also think too much black ppl workn over there . The fat black 1 looked like he didnt wanna return my deposit and he was slow.
