My truck was rented to someone else befoee i got there , they had to switch it. They gave the wrong keys to the other customer. I waited 45 mins to check-in at the counter. One employee was completely lost and making mistake. The woman who i had to work with had to fix the misstakes the other employee was doing while trying to serve me. The person who served me was doing good but was overwhelmed by the fact that she had to fix the mistake done by the other employee while trying to give me a good service.

The driver's side door or window seal allows a flow of air through when driving and it is a loud hissing/whistling noise that is irritating, loud, and so we cannot have a conversation withoit having to yell, cannot hear the radio. Is there a credit due to this?

I would rate the location poor Quality but the people at the service counter ara so amazing... they take the time to know their returning clients and their customer service approach is phenomenal. Also... in have been to many Uhaul... your computer systems are slow and often break down. TIP: IT IS A WORTHWHILE INVESTMENT TO FIX YOUR MAIN SERVER PROBLEM. ( uhaul staff look stressed when yhe computer system goes down... many employees are faced with discouraged customers. FIND A WAY TO FIX YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEMS GOING DOWN. 100 % UHAUL SHOULD DO.. I have to resubmit the exact same info that was already provided, which is stupid. 3) not enough staff for the amount of customers The combination of the 3 points above makes the overall experience subpar and could easily be improved with a little bit of common sense (point 1 & 2 above)

They lost my truck, made me drive with my pregnant wife to another location, just to be treated as an idiot, because the truck was parked in the original location all that time. Lost four hours. During the whole process the only thing I got was a “I completely understand your frustrationâ€. That's not the answer of a serious manager. As a manger myself, you always provide solution and a course of action, not just empty sentences. For sure, I will never do any kind of business with U-Haul in the future.

By the time I got a truck, the gas tank was empty (19 miles left to E) so I lost another 20 minutes getting some gas… Overall bad experience.

Steven M.I returned my the key and dropped it in the box near to the main entrance, on 29 April between 10:45 and 11 pm. Next morning I receive a first call from the lady saying that I parked wrong and I blocked all their work and made her work, even dough I parked very regular, in an empty space, near another truck, not blocking any entrance or any car, and which was the only empty space. The lady started to tell me where I should have parked in a rude way. After that, she tells me that she did not find my key, and I told her that I did drop it in the box that is right next to the entrance. After that, a second call about still not finding it and wants to charge me 100$. I told her that I am sure that I dropped, I do not have it on me. I told her too that I tried to do the online checkout with pictures and the system was error on your website and not finding this location (LACHINE), so I ended up only dropping the key.. Still, she has to charge me (which I am not cheap and will pay if I have too).. I believe that I do not deserve to be charge extra money for nothing.. Another note: a recommendation for online payment since there's is a full process of reserving and inserting cards info, but still I had to wait 20 mins in line and 15 mins at the counter doing all the process again, which is almost an hour after my reservation time. I am UHAUL customer and will always use your service, but definitely not at Lachine location . Merci

Did notice a lot of rat or mouse poop on the floor of my unit once the storage was removed (even if there was a trap in the unit). With all my storage I never knew this was on the floor of my unit until I moved out. I simply suggest to others to ensure to wrap all materials (fabrics and leathers) in plastic and to put belongings in plastic bins with well sealed lids instead of using paper boxes, to avoid any moths or rodent to access their belongings.

Most of our stuff was boxed but as the upholstered furniture and the mattresses had not been wrapped in plastic it was quite gross to see the mouse droppings (and there would also be accompanying urine) everywhere. The building is immaculate when you come in but mice can and do get into the individual units.

I asked for help regarding my access code for building. A lady had very rude tone and bad attitude from start and didnt listen anything i said. I tried to show her my reservation number, gave her locker number and tried show email confirming my locker with payment. She didn't listen to a single detail i tried to give her to pull my account on her computer. She simply ignored anything i was saying. Instead she tried to book me second locker at more price, without informing me. Finally when she gave me new locker, i asked how much it costs, she told me $80. I asked her why is she booking me second locker, i told her i will not take and to cancel it. She gave me sign that she did me a favour, then a gentleman next to her came in, she explained him, her so much favour and steps she took to book a rental. I showed him my email confirmation, and that guy pulled my account and locker from her computer right away. If that guy wouldnt had shown up i would have spent another 30 min and still not get this solved. I guess this what happen when service desk helper think customers are idiots and they dont know anything. I hope i never have to see her for help. As i dont know her name, she weighs around 170 pounds or more, long black nail around 5 cm, non smiling face. Her shift timing 1am to noon, date 24 January 2022. Another piece of advise to her, dont take your personal calls on job hiding small Bluetooths in ear and covering with caps, please wear facemask because its safe.

Ils ont dit qu’aucune réservation n’est garantie. Alors pourquoi prendre le numéro de carte de crédit? Pourquoi ne pas signifier au client (à l’avance) qu’il a perdu sa place afin qu’il puisse trouver une autre solution d’entreposage? Arrivés au 2 e endroit, cela a prit un temps fou à se faire servir et avoir un entrepôt qui était complètement sale à notre arrivée (jus, roches, etc.). Lorsque je les ai appelé, ils m’ont dit que les gens qui font le ménage ne travaillent pas la fin de semaine. La dame m’a dit qu’elle peut me donner un balais. J’ai dû insister pour qu’elle envoie quelqu’un. Il a rapidement passé le balais et la mope. Il est à noter que j’avais 3 déménageurs d’engagés à 150$/h qui ont dû attendre en tout et pour tout entre une heure à une heure et demie en raison des délais occasionnés par U-haul. Cela est extrêmement mal organisé et malpropre (la toilette était insalubre et nous sommes en pleine éclosion de Covid). Je suis extrêmement déçue de mon expérience
