lina g. | Premières impressionsThis was the best Uhaul facility I have ever used!! When you return the unit, they come to you to go over the vehicle, verify fuel gauge and to get your kilometres. Then you can proceed to pay with the card you secured it with or with another method. And your receipt is emailed right to you!!

Natalie T.I was in ontario dealing with estate matters got backand left messages still no call and my stuff was apparently sold. I know I owed money but I would have figured out how to make the payment now I don't care about my personal stuff but I do care about the things from passed family members that I will never get back. So sad. But due to uhaul 50st I will never pay another cent or use any services from uhaul. So here is to ALL the uhaul employees that make decisions like this when you loose family members...hope you loose all your precious memories too.

Souleiman A.Don't have the truck blocked in. Have the dolly inside the truck. Fix the app so that it doesn't skip giving me the key location or combination. Make the ID numbers on the 10' trucks visible. I had to make 4 trips back to the front desk and wait behind 2-3 people in line each time before getting my truck. It took 50 minutes in total and for a supposedly quick pickup using my mobile. This is unacceptable when I only have a 3 hour window to move my items.

Had to go all the way to 50th street and then proceeded to wait in line for 1,5 hours because they only had one worker. We relied on your for moving into our house and we were severely late due to your negligence. I would like to hear how you would like rectify this issue because I am incredibly disappointed with this service.

Perhaps go back to old school and have staff input in the morning abd let customers just drop keys off

loyi N.When we got there for our 5:30am pickup the truck was blocked in by 2 other uhauls. There was no paperwork in the front, and no way to access the truck till 7am when the location opened and we could talk with someone. After another 45 minutes of waiting for help and them moving the uhauls blocking us, we found our dollys were not in the back of the vehicle. So again we waiting to recieve those. We asked if at all we could gain an extra 2 hours as 2 hours of our time was wasted due to their error and we were very rudely told they had no wiggle room. The attitude was unnecessary. All in all, out of 10, I would give the experience a 1.
Annamarie S.I pre-reserved, pre- signed in, and when I got there, there was no parking, there was easily 20 people in the store, only 2 people at the till/customer.service, despite the online steps I took, still waited an hour to get vehicle. When returning using the self after hours check in, it wouldn't work, when Customer service was contacted, they said I couldn't do it online as the vehicle reserved and the vehicle they gave were different and they signed the incorrect one out to me. Was told I wouldn't be charged for the next day in person check in of the vehicle.

Doors didn't end up opening until a few minutes past 9:30am which resulted in a huge backlog of people waiting to pick up their rentals. Took over a hour before I was on the road with my U-Haul. The workers were hustling hard trying to help everyone out as fast as they could.

Sandra P.Generally, the condition of the moving truck was excellent however the attic portion of the truck was very dirty (covered in dirt). We used one of the U-haul moving blankets to cover it up and things were fine.
John L.I was very impressed with the customer support staff that I encountered, but whoever was supposed to put the blankets and dollys in the truck didn't do it. If the store had not been open with staff there, then I would have been complete messed up. 5/5 stars for the staff that jumped in to help get me on my way 3/5 stars for the staff that were supposed to clean the truck (it was not terrible, but the front was caked with mud) 0/5 stars for the staff that were tasked with putting stuff in the truck (it wasn't that somethings missing, there was nothing put in there at all)
Kristopher S.Stop ripping customers off. Customers need to take pictures like we did on the gas meter before leaving the u-haul location. I was told the truck had 7/8 of a tank BUT it was between. 6/7 of a tank full which we made sure to take a picture of. Upon returning the truck we made sure that same amount of gas was between 6/7th of a tank. I was still charged for extra gas even though I should NOT have been. The young guy working and checking the vehicles bought back does NOT care what you have to say and needs to learn some CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

Penny A.CSR was not helpful. Would not look for a contract number so I could return 4 boxes. Was not willing to work with me on returning 13 other boxes. Manager was not able to speak with me and provided me an email address to address my concerns(that's not how you provide a great client experience). What happend with going above and beyond. 4 boxes and your going cause a fuss. Rules/polices are guide lines and can be bent to create a nice clients experience/ long term clients. You need my address to return boxes, what????. Just because you have a monopoly does not give you the right to treat people like a number. Trailer was full of leaves and pine needles.

Joyce M. | Premières impressionsA little more explanation on what to expect before taking the keys. e.g;. that the walk-around is done without your presence before you take the vehicle, that it is examined and pictures of the veh. including the odometer will be sent to your email and that there must be an acceptance. I took pictures of the veh. myself including the licence plate. Then took off only to remember that I saw that I had a text. I pulled over. Good thing, because that is when I saw the message with the pictures and the acceptance agreement. I could have easily missed this and just drove on. Non one checked to make sure that I accepted the condition of the vehicle before I drove off of the lot. Otherwise the people were friendly and accomodating. I think that they should check and see if it is your first time renting with U-Haul and explain in more detail.

However this caused auto generated emails informing a lien has been placed against my things and that action works be taken against me. Trying to rectify this led to spending 2 hours combined on hold trying to speak to someone to clear this matter up.

Once I realized he was talking to his girlfriend and not a customer I asked how much longer it would be and was told rather rudely to wait my turn. I waited another 10 minutes and left. That was the last time I went inside. I wouldn't recommend this particular facility to anyone.

The location on 50th Street in Edmonton desperately needs more staff inside as I have been there at different times at people have stood almost 5-10 deep waiting as there were only 2 available, one doing only truck pickups. When I tried to call in, I was put on hold for 30 minutes so that I opted to go in in person. The staff, however, were very friendly and helpful.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the fact that when I arrived at the storage locker I always had to have UHAUL remove trucks that were parked in front of my locker. If I had arrived after hours, this would have been a real problem. Otherwise, all was good.

I was charged 50 lien fee a 50 pre lien fee and 2 /10$ late charges and a 15 dollar late charge. 135 in late fees. Absolutely ridiculous. I used to use Uhaul quite often. I will never frequent this buisness again. I have found a unit with another company that is 3x the size for the same price. So my advive is shop around and DO NOT USE UHAUL FOR YOUR NEEDS.

I was not able to figure out 1- how to get sliding doors to open/work. The front desk attendant took my credit card, and I asked if the payments would be automatic. She assured me that they would. My first month's hadn't come out and when I called I was told was told the first month was overdue because there was no automatic credit card on file. I asked them to make a payment and set me up for automatic payment. My second month was also late and when I called, the attendant told me that it was because no one activated it on the account. Since then, I have paid for a facility where food and items were left in the hallway, and the alarm seemed to always be going off when I got there. When I asked if I set the alarm off, the attendant said that no, I hadn't, and that it just goes off every time something happens. Which appears to be 6 times an hour during busy time. There also were times when a cart wasn't available for my building. I know it's a courtesy, but it still would have been nice to have one.

Robyn helped me and was amazing. She helped me make sure I had the right unit that worked for me and easily able to move in. She even directed me to McDonald's while I waited for my brother to show with the truck because I hadn't eaten all day. When I went to eat I saw a reflection of myself in a window and I was an aweful disheveled mess. Yet when I was checking into unit Robyn still treated me great. Would definitely recommend this location and I would use them again both for storage and truck rental.

Only issue with staff was when I moved out I was driving a large truck and when I went in to close account I didn't realize I had parked in front of disabled parking. The staff member who addressed it was very inappropriate. Instead of simply asking for the vehicle to be moved he went on a long winded explanation of why, yelling it across a very busy store. Needless to say it was very embarrassing and rather than close the account I left.

I arrived at the facility (50th street Edmonton) the first sets of staffs were helpful, after storing my items, I went and gave the keys to the front desk, she insisted i return it under the blue canopy, of which i did and went back inside. I gave her the keys but she refused to collect it , she said I didnt park the truck under the blue canopy, that I parked outside the facility, I explained that was another dark skinned guy that she should collect the keys and verify , she insisted and told me she would loose it if she found out I was lying, she eventually checked and saw my Truck parked under the blue canopy but she didn't acknowledged her mistake or apologized for threatening and calling a customer a liar. Please kindly look into this as this should not be happening to customers.

I don't like bait boxes inside the units. Mouse poop located there. It also was very cold inside. Things would freeze. I found a much cleaner unit elsewhere

I've also been in line and watched how the staff answer the calls. "Hello uhaul 50st hold please?" They don't even allow the caller to indicate they've been on hold already for hours. This always bothered me about your facility.
