The time it took me to get in and out with my rental was redicuous workers were very slow. I am surprised that store is still opened. The one on Beltline Rd is great 6th Ave is terrible.

I had the trailer rental scheduled for 4:45 pm. I got to the location and the employee couldn't find the trailer. He had 3 with expired tags on them, but mine was missing. Turns out the GM took my trailer to Huntsville and I had to wait over an hour for him to get back and then I had to load the car on the trailer in the dark. It was a huge disaster and to be frank, I'm still extremely upset about it. I will never go back to that location. Never!

One of your employees charged me $130 extra for a utility dolly that was never on the truck & we didn't need to use because we had our own. When I called to resolve the issue, there was no manager in the store & was told I can't even speak to someone about the issue until Monday morning. Super frustrating.

Your manager (Kyle)was very rude at pickup and stated that the van was not clean .I rented a van several months ago.Dog hair covered the seats the same van I rented yesterday had the same dog hair covering the driver and passenger seat and the paper left on the floor. I was not happy with the customer service or the condition of the van.

I reserved a truck then they called and said they didn't have it and sent me to some other location that wasn't even open. I finally found a place and just made new reservation but had to get a huge truck because it was the only one they had. It was a very stressful terrible experience

Customer service was excellent, General Manager, Brad was awesome. The only thing I didn't care for was my unit was near the parking lot that they were doing paving and all the debris kept getting into my unit.

I absolutely hate having to do so much at check-in on my phone. I understand this is not an issue with the local store and that it is an issue at the corporate level, but there is no effort being made to make the process more convenient for customers. I have used Uhaul for years and this has me reconsidering whether or not I will return.

The truck I received was parked in the back alley. The associate handed me the keys and my furniture dolly and told me the truck was "out back or somewhere over there" and pointed in a general direction. It was not pulled up and ready for me to drive. It was in the back alley parked in the mud, covered in leaves and looked as though it hadn't been washed in months. The windshield was dirty and there was no washer fluid to clean it. The associated, working alone, voiced being disgruntled. He asked another customer if they were spiteful and recommended a way to get back at U-Haul. His general demeanor was unlike what I had previously experienced at this location with another associate. It was very off putting.

There was alot of confusion with this move due to the electrical being off at the facility. There were no lights on when loading our inside storage unit and it was very difficult for to drive around with the big uhaul due to all the Decatur utilities vehicles blocking access. Also a lot of confusion with the rental. Should have been better explained.

I for the run around. I reserved this rental in Athens which is 3miles from where I needed it. I get there and it's a virtual site and the computer kept trying to rent me a storage unit. Nobody in sight and no trailer outside the gate. So I called customer service and told them if my situation and expressed how I would not use U-Haul again. I had to drive 30 min out of my way and then ba k 30 min. Meanwhile I had hired some hole to move and they got some free money waiting on me. I am not real happy about this. The young man at the location I was sent to was very helpful and made things better. Nonetheless I am out money to pay help to stand around. I was told I would get $50 back we will see. That will make it some better but I'm still leaning toward your competition.

I HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR MONDAY AT 9:30 AM. ONLY THE MANAGER WAS THERE. HE HAD NO HELP AND WAS BUSY. I WAS THERE FOR TWO HOURS BUT HE COULDN'T GET STARTED BECAUSE OF OTHER COSTUMERS. I VOLUNTEERED TO RETURN TUESDAY WHEN HE WOULD HAVE HELP. HE GAVE ME A TIME AND WHEN I ARRIVED HE WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK WITH ONLY ONE INTERRUPTION. HE DID HIS BEST.

Kyle was very unprofessional using swear words and made an off-color sexual comment besides going off on off the wall personal thoughts and people on government assistance. We reserved the truck online and were charged for things we did not order, but, when the truck was returned a credit was issued.

This location had the best customer service we've ever experienced at any other location. Bo, Kyle and Adam were exceptional. I have just retired from a DM position of 20 years and wish that I had employees that gave the customer care that we received. your company is fortunate to have these guys on board.

This manager, or so he said, called me and tried to tell me I owe $150+ even though I moved out of the unit 1 day after due date! I paid in advance, for months, so why would I pay for a month I did not use? And when I asked for his supervisor's name & number he hung up on me!

The two gentlemen that assisted me in my move were polite and exceptionally knowledgeable. I appreciate their humor and compassion in such a stressful time. I hope they will be the ones to rent me my next uhaul. They MADE my uhaul rental an experience and I appreciate them.

I was told it would be no more than $150 and it was $357. Also the ball was not put on and was laid aside, so I had to go back and get it which made me late for other thi gs I had to do that day.

The only thing that I personally didn't like was that the General Manager @ this site. Lied & stated that he can reserve my storage room for a total of (14) days. Due to me truly not needing this unit until a month later! To keep me from paying a whole month in advance for nothing. If u get what I am saying! Something told me to go check on the unit one day. Mind u that the (14) still wasn't up yet! I get there & he wants to play crazy by putting his head into his hands. Then, say (O' My God) one of the other guys has rented out your unit to someone else! I honestly feel that he truly knew that my unit had already been rented out! So I had to go to an entire other storage unit that doesn't even belongs to UHaul. In order to have my belongings stored away! So this location will never receive any more of my hard earned money ever in life again I promise you on everything I love!

The clerk overcharged me by $15. for coverage I actually did not agree too and when I returned the rental I asked about the charge and the clerk told me I should have checked the paperwork before I left with the rental truck but he couldn’t fix it after the return.

I have dropped a truck a trailer and an auto transport at this location in the past few days. Only the auto transport was actually logged back in on the day I turned it in. The truck sat for 4 days (charged me) extra before being logged in. I turned in the trailer on Saturday and the auto transport on Sunday. When I asked about the receipt for the trailer the employee was very confused, he said he wasn't expecting the trailer. I eventually showed the employee the order and he emailed me receipt for both the trailer and the auto transport. Also, I had to park both and unhook them as the employee said there was a lot to do for one employee. I was the only customer in the store Sunday.

The truck itself should have been red flagged! The truck shifts very hard, the carbon monoxide fumes coming into the cab of the truck literally has me sick all day. The exhaust leaks horribly using more fuel than it should take this truck off the road! I told management and pretty much accused any thing said

In the Beginning I had several hiccups with the app I was not able to pick up with app , but I was glad the guy finally showed up at the vape shop and he helped as much as he could, so the app needs improvement especially if it's not working like in my case… Than the return was not quite as easy because the gate was closed we waited for some kind of code but it took a while for someone to reply to the txt msg 30 min. To be correct, our time was running out because of return at 9 am. So we decided to return to the only open lot in town, where we should have taken it in the first place, it was close to our new home meaning not a lot of extra miles. Next was the Gas we left on a bit over of a quarter tank my Son took pictures , that's how we returned the truck, on Monday we never where asked to send pictures or called by UHAUL like it said when we answered all the questions to turn in the truck…than we found out we got charged of course to fill up … that's when I decided to call customer service and I was pleasantly surprised they refunded me all the gas back thank you that made this little nightmare a bit better situation, the customer service rep was very polite she kept calm and knew what was important on the call … Thanks again… hopefully this helps a bit to improve some of the issues with pickup and return …

Excellent service. Only 4 stars because the storage has stairs and it makes it harder to move things in versus if they had a lift or elevator. Clean facility. Friendly staff.

There only one issue, and it is that they don't have elevator for the units on the second and third floor. Other than that, the units was very contable.

It was a great experience overall. We appreciate the friendly staff and the facility was nice and clean. The only suggestion is to install an elevator. It was a bit of work walking up and down the stairs to fill the unit.

Not maintained. Air conditioning leaked into my unit. I was not notified and found many irreplaceable items molded and ruined. Staff does not answer the phone and does not know how to use computer system to do anything. They are lackadaisical and flippant. I would never recommend this facility to anyone else.

I have an issue with the new management on 6th avenue in Decatur she was very rude the manager that you had before was very nice and understanding I had some life-changing effects happened to me and she was able to help me out while I was getting on my new path in life she had to go on with her life and move on I talked to two other staff of yours and with that I end up with the new one that's a manager or the store manager of 6th avenue she's very rude do not have patience and it's really awful I have complained about her on the 1-800 number and I haven't heard anything back

Of all the U-Haul stores I have contracted with over the last 6 months and in 3 states this store has had the BEST selection of vehicles, trailers and supplies. (packing, auto accessories) The storage unit was fine for a climate control while the others were regular units while I was transitioning and moving family. U-Haul doesn't refund early vehicle returns, that's too bad. U-Haul was available when I needed them!

Destiny was very professional. She received a 6x12 Trailer I brought down from Delaware and processed my reservation for a storage unit. We did a walk through and everything was "just right" Oh, and thet have a great supply if materials and auto hitch accessories...a great prices!

I had a confirmation from uhaul themselves and there was not one available in the size I ordered. I had to take the next size up and am being charged $30 more a month and feel this was a bait and switch from the company. Called a file was created.

No problems at all here with the climate controlled unit I had. I will say parking to access your unit is horrible though and the location is understaffed it appears.

First of all, the personnel are wonderful people. I cannot say enough about my experience with them, especially Jerry! The inside of the storage area was clean. However outside the door where one has to move everything the drainage for run-off water left a lot of waste right in the area where you're pulling your stuff in. Otherwise, the experience was spectacular. Thanks Jerry for all your help to those who are in the delirium of moving!

Several times I went by to pay and no one was in the store. I waited and waited and finally left and just paid online. I think they are short handed. Also, you can never get anyone to answer the phone.

When we moved out the extra key to the lock was not returned. I feel if I had to buy the lock so they could keep a key it should at least be returned when I move out. I know they knew they had a key to the lock. After all they have key's to all the lock's. Sorry if my feed back upsets anyone.

Generally speaking the staff was EXCELLENT, however, I did have one bad experience with a female worker concerning an error in billing. She could not give me an answer to the issue and said "she couldn't help me" in a less than desirable tone and demeanor. She also said that she would have the manager call me for further clarification and help that she could not provide but I was never contacted. Taylor was always helpful through email and the in-person staff was always accommodating, helpful and friendly. One bad experience was all that I had.

The website said that the first month was free. When I got to the site and completed my check in, I was told that I wouldn't receive the free month rent because I didn't rent the truck from that site. I feel that I should have been informed about that.

I was over charged and had to pay an extra day because the customer service that help me didn't a activate my card for my 24 hour access. I called the after hours number to report in on why I had to keep the trailer and extra day because I couldn't get in my unit. They told me I wouldn't be charged because they was at fault but then the next day I was charged $80 extra bucks on my card I had to go into the office not once but twice to have them move empty trailers out of the way where they parked them in front of my unit. I was suppose to be about to get my uhaul at 2 am but wasn't able to pick it up until 9 am. Throwing off all my schedule for them move. The whole thing using uhaul has been a nightmare Next time I will pay extra to get an istorage and Ryder truck. I was very disappointed on uhaul. When you went into the office or store on 6th ave. The customer service was very poor. I stood in the store over 15 mins with no one to be found and they was all seen out back smoking. This store needs new management or employees. This is getting ridiculous

Quite a bit more than I'm used to paying! Could NEVER get a hold of anyone by phone! Always on hold. Billing is bizarre...account online shows NO balance due but then assessed a late for not paying! "There was no balance due the 21st. You didn't have a balance until the 22nd. But you didn't pay it so there's a late fee." Well if NO balance is on account why would I pay? If there's a balance DUE the 22nd, then it should show that online from the 23rd of previous month until date due! Seriously?! But it was convenient to home and available when I needed it but I bought a small shed and put up at home b/c it's much more convenient and affordable!

Door was falling off at the bottom. Kept rental 2 months, door was never repaired. Access/ egress was bad, in back by gravel alley with trash, & Hugh potholes. Hardly any lights in that area at all.
