I normally have no issues with this U-Haul location. But this time the truck broke down in us twice and we had to wait on roadside assistance which delayed our move. Then they extended our rental but when I called customer service they were very rude and we still didn't finish our entire move. I still could use it 1-2 more days to finish moving. It was just over all a bad experience.Kristy L.

I was very upset to find that I was charged almost 32 $for 3 gallons of fuel. Three fallons I don't think would even make the needle move. I have rented several Uhaul trucks in the past and have always returned the trucks with plenty of fuel. This time was no different. I had to drop it off after hours. I tried to get the app to work and couldn't. I then called the Uhaul #and waited on hold for over 30 minutes. I had things I had to do and could not wait on hold I never even spoke to an agent. I do have pictures of the fuel guage. If there ever is a next time of needing a truck I will think twice before using Uhaul. I almost went with another company this time because they were a but cheaper but thought no Uhaul is who I've ALWAYS used and it's been good experiences. I feel they did that because I didn't do the stuff on the app so they knew they could make a little extra $.Irving B.

Van had Collision Detection warning light on, as well as the Traction Control light was on. I was not told about these when I picked it up. Also, there was a TPMS that was not working, but was told about it and assured that the tire pressure was good. When I returned the van the attendant said that the 'shop' can't get the codes to clear and can't figure out what is causing them.Leslie B.

First of all, the personnel are wonderful people. I cannot say enough about my experience with them, especially Jerry! The inside of the storage area was clean. However outside the door where one has to move everything the drainage for run-off water left a lot of waste right in the area where you're pulling your stuff in. The process was quick (my wait in line was long, so maybe have a 2nd person there to help out with customers). The girl who waited on me was very helpful, also carried out the boxes I purchased, which was a big help to me as I have mobility issues and use a cane. The online reservation experience was poor. I had reserved a van closer to my home and my destination. After reserving online I received a call that the van was not available and had to use a location that was further away. As a result my trip took longer and I had to pay more in miles.BRYAN L.

Do proper inspection and maintenance on your equipment. You gave me a car hauler That was supposed supposed to work with my vehicle well if straps or not cut short it might have worked. Had to go out and buy ratchet straps 2 to secure the vehicle. Call U-Haul no help. Call U-Haul road assistance and that's not their number no more. I will never rent from U-Haul again.TIMOTHY W.

Did not actually have storage unit even though I had a reservation number and had to go to another city just to find a storage unit and was charged extra money for not being about to drop Uhaul off because it was full of items that should have been put in storage. Rep refused to take my storage unit reservation number because he stated all the units were full.JAMIL S.

I was offered a 4x8 trailer that was over 30 years old for a 1500-plus mile trip to New Mexico. I shared my reservations with the attendant and he did not offer any alternative. After picking up some things for the trip placed in the trailer, drove less than 10 miles, and found multiple things broken because the trailer had no suspension. I attempted to exchange the old trailer for a newer model but was told there were none available and was charged the day rate of 14,95 $ plus tax even though I had the trailer less than 24-hours. I would advise that you stay away from this dealer.Jimmy S.

They rented me a Uhaul where they knew the seat-belt indicator was broken, so I had to listen to chiming for 20 mins each time I started the thing. Also the truck was Garbage in that it did not want to shift gears, so I had to listen to that fun noise as well. The best thing I can say is that the AC workedMARK W.

I used some of my rent money to for our house to move , I returned the uhaul on full and I did not get my deposit back so now me and my family have to find a way to make that money up to pay our rent uhaul it a scam and it hurts people in need instead of helping themWILLIAM W.

It wasn't necessarily the store. I made arrangements to pick up the truck 3 mikes from my house. I was emailed Saturday that my pick up and drop off place had changed from athens to Decatur due to the truck having issues. I called and was passsed around for over 2 hours. When I finally got to speak with someone about the additional mileage I was going to be charged for, she was the rudest person I believe I have ever talked to. I didn't change the venue y'all did due to equipment issues. The distance from where I was to pick up and drop the truck off was a total of almost 30 miles. My total usage was 71 miles. 30 if that was having to go to the new dealership. I just didn't think I should have had to oh that mileage due to an issue with a truckTara J.

When we moved out the extra key to the lock was not returned. I feel if I had to buy the lock so they could keep a key it should at least be returned when I move out. Generally speaking the staff was EXCELLENT, however, I did have one bad experience with a female worker concerning an error in billing. She could not give me an answer to the issue and said "she couldn't help me" in a less than desirable tone and demeanor. She also said that she would have the manager call me for further clarification and help that she could not provide but I was never contacted.
