Wow. Great customer service and great people that work at this place, they made my life so much easier and they have the best prices! The manager Hal Diaz it's super professional and I want to send a special thank for all the crew from the U haul Automall location! They also installed a hitch on my vehicle and now I can pull trailers wherever I go. Definitely I will be going back to this location whenever I need propane gas for my grill, packing supplies or trucks

Ronald O.The van cabin was filthy on the passenger seat. It had a lot of dog paw print with mud/dirt and lots of hair. It was uncomfortable to sit on a plastic bag. The floor was sticky on the drivers inside seat and so as the passenger floor. I e been renting from uhaul since way back 1990 - 2023. I was never given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle this time around. Hopefully next time I rent it would be a better experience. Merci.

He acknowledged me finally, said he would be with in a minutes. Then a few minutes later told me to just leave my keys right on a service cart and they would email/text me my final bill. I was then charged an extra few miles then I recorded on the odometer Not a big deal, but not right.

It needed to be unhooked to put the hitch on, but was not refastened. Luckily it was fairly simple to get back into place after crawling under the car in my driveway.

Gas was also full when returned. Person who I tried to talk to said just turn in the keys, and we will bill you for whatever was quoted to you. Didn't ask my name or how things went. She was more interested with getting the money. Very disappointed! I'm a disabled army vet, and on a fixed income moving on my own. I truly felt like I was taken advantage of.

Mike H.It took nearly 2 hours for me to get a truck when it should've taken 20 minutes during my first visit. The pickup truck I reserved was broke down and I couldnt take it. Thats fine, mistakes happen. The rep at the counter offered to find me another and finds one 20 minutes away back the way I came from. I turned that down and left. What was frustrating was why they didn't offer a larger truck in the first place if one was available. I only found out when someone else looked online and saw the larger trucks available.

Daniel D.Hal saved the day. Alexus is a disgrace who is not fit to serve as an assistant manager... or probably even a fry cook. Quite frankly, she is a nasty little troll who doesn't know how to speak to people and I question weather she can actually read. My gf thought that maybe she just hates men, but for as hard as she's trying to be and act like one, I think she just has the wrong prototype that she's so desperately trying to emulate. Alexus, you suck at customer service little guy.

I was not given any paperwork at the time of drop off, just handed a paper to sign allowing uhaul to put my vehicle on a rack/lift. I called to let them know the mistake and was told they didn't have the hitch in stock and would have to order one.

Jose R.This location did fairly well. My complaint is that using your website I ordered a hitch and then selected an installation service. The install location I selected was on Ina. When I went there for the service I was informed that they did not perform installations! I could not believe it. I was REALLY unhappy! I went back and conducted the same purchase process and came with the same answer. Your web site really sucks. To have it all arranged where I could get an install and then find that the service isn't even offered. Really? The Ina facility then called the one on Oracle with whom I interacted today. They were about an hour late, but otherwise did a good job. But you need to work on that website!

Once he finally "found" a unit, that unit had someone else's things. I didn't find that out until I went back on Saturday to look at the inside of the unit. Since then I've emailed them twice to refund me the insurance I paid for initially and I still haven't heard back. They weren't able to cancel my unit because the store manager, Hal wasn't there. Alexis was kind enough to call another u-haul to check availability. It didn't get cancelled until the following week after their rep Melanie called me a few times to ask me if I still wanted the unit and that it had been emptied. Totally unacceptable to rent storage units that haven't been cleaned out. I will not return to this location ever again.

Raymond c. | Expérience généraleI had another U-haul storage space which I had reserved in March 2022 at the U-haul storage facility located at 450 N. Freeway in Tucson, because this is where I rented a moving truck, auto-carrier trailer and indoor storage unit as I was relocating from San Diego, CA and moving to Tucson, Arizona. When I finally arrived in Tucson to return the truck, trailer and off load the contents of the truck, I was notified that "there's no reservation on file for you here, we don't have anything available". I told this customer service representative that he was mistakened, why would I have pre-paid for an moving help service to meet me here to un-load the truck, and they're outside getting paid to do nothing! "I was told to contact U-haul customer service, because there was nothing he could do". So, I called the 800-468-4285 number and was placed on hold for an unnecessary extended period of time, in order to get some help. Finaly, I was connected to an call center customer service agent that I had to explain the entire story and situation to, before she could begin to assist me. The best solution that could be done at such short notice, and to allow for the very limited time I still had remaining on the paid help, was for me to be sent to the U-haul storage facility on Oracle Road which is an outside storage facility. I did not have any other option at this point, so I had them contact that office before they closed and notify them that I was on my way. When I and the moving helpers arrived, I meet the U-haul customer service representative to sign the rental contract, purchase a lock, locate the storage unit and attempted to drive the truck to the rental unit. This may have gone much faster if the storage facility had not recently had a fire inside a storage unit which took out the lights in the yard which made finding the unit and unloading the truck extremely difficult. By the time we found the unit and placed one item inside, my time was up for the paid moving help. I locked the unit and never returned until I moved out last month.

But it'll cost ya $15. All I had were 2 boxes (that were torn-down/flattened), plus 1 (15 gallon) bag of garbage. For $15?? He told me if I didn't want to pay, I could dump it next store (in their dumpster). I thought, Wow, that ain't right!? Now, this is after I just spent $1400 on a 15' truck (plus another $450 in gas) to move across country. Only to find out when I arrived that all my stuff, at the back 5' of the truck...was all wet on the bottom. By the way...he acknowledged that. It's just the principal of the whole thing. But I have to keep telling myself, that most people DONT CARE ABOUT PRINCIPALS. All they care about...US MONEY.

I was given a credit instead of a refund for unused boxes etc but they'd never let me use the credit, either cuz I can't use it towards storage rent or truck. But when I was buying supplies then it didn't work come back. This is even with whoever is acting boss that shift. Mgr seemed to be drugged or ? at times too. Everyone came in was frustrated, everytime I had to come in, often at times. Mgr leaves alot it seems never there. When he was he was nice. The premises itself felt safe and at time good loc but due to staff and how it's all run, I'd never use it, in fact I have moved out. The times I've had to use the main office it's been great, including this last time where without any hassle at all, I was given my immediate refund on that useless credit. Ps.. I was there about a year and all I said never got better in fact worse. I don't understand why you're letting such a prime loc be run by stoned vegetables idiots, including it's 'upper mgt' down. Yur customers r moving, we don't want or need that problematic time sucking error ridden headache for things so simple.

This is not true. The round locks they force you to use can be broken in less than 5 minutes with a drill. I'm pretty sure the reason they require these is so they can get into a unit (with a drill) if someone stops paying, etc.

The drag is tremendous. Perhaps you could offer a wind foil that attaches to the roof of a car to reduce the drag and increase mileage. I Imagine it would help with Your profits also.
